“Great contact with us throughout our trip. Harry was happy while there and happy to see us too!! We would use Angela again if we find ourselves in the Sacramento area again!!”

“I was so happy to have Julie as my puppy's sitter. Julie is wonderful at communicating and getting back to you. She sends you photos and videos of your little one, and as a new pet owner I feel so relieved to have had her. She cares about your pet just as much as you do. I will be using her consistently in the future, and am fully confident in her puppy sitting skills. She is a true dog lover. Thank you Julie!”

“We had the bestest experience!!! From the regular updates, we could see that our two doggies were having a great time, and in very trustworthy hands. Can't thank you enough ?”

“My dog seemed like he was well taken care of. Communication was very good with the sitters. Also they work from home at different times so dogs always have coverage. Would use service again.”

“Ann and her husband were such great pet guardians for Angie! Ann's extensive experience with dogs and her gentle energy filled me with confidence that Angie would be in good hands. They're good people and I will happily use them again!”

“Doh was great with boarding my dog who occasionally has issues with other dogs. She was able to play in her own separated yard. Doh was also willing to accept her last minute for a holiday. We will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Kendra goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make our girls feel at home and to make us feel like they are in the best hands! She is so thoughtful and kind to us humans and loving and compassionate to our furbabies!”

“Adrienne was outstanding! So friendly, caring, attentive! She welcomed Maggie, my 3 month old puppy with lots of warmth. My small dog had great care and seemed content and loved while in Adrienne’s house. Happy that she shared photos with me. I highly recommend Adrienne!”

“Derek and his family were so hospitable to Winnie. They sent many pictures and were very responsive with any questions asked. This was my first time using rover and Derek and I will definitely use their services again.”

“This is the first time that I've used Johnna, and all have to say is the cats warmed up to her immediately. Is she a pet whisperer? Everything went smoothly and she did everything I asked. She cleaned up litter messes and took it out to our outside garbage can so there was no litter smells when we got home. She spent time playing with them and even got my anxious cat to warm up to her. Definitely recommend her!”

“My puppy really enjoyed his stay with Wyne. We were initially worried since he’s only 3 months old and will be away from us for 10 days. However, Wyne updates us with a picture or 2 everyday (never missed) to let us know how our pup is doing. That puts all our worries away and I even got a little concerned that our puppy might not want to come home anymore since he was having so much fun. Wyne even checked up on King 2 days after he came home since he had a little allergy when he went home. I will definitely be using Wyne again for my pup’s overnight stays.”

“Laura took such good care of my cat Shiny and made all the accommodations she needed. She even checked in and sent me a couple updates with photos. Thank you Laura for making my vacation worry free!”

“First time using Kate and she was great! VERY attentive and did a fantastic job keeping me updated thru messages and sending photos . Would not hesitate to use her again. I really felt like she loved my Cady!”

“Jasmine was amazing! Pudge's first overnight stay went so well, and he had so much fun!! I didn't have to worry at all. I'm so thankful that he had such a good time, he didn't even want to leave to come home when I went to pick him up. 10000/10 would recommend.”

“Nancy was amazing. The best dog sitter we’ve ever had! I felt so comfortable leaving Maple with her, as I can tell she truly loves like her own. Maple will be back!!!”

“Alexis was wonderful with my baby! She sent pics and videos and kept me updated the entire time. He had so much fun playing with her dog too. He's home and completely crashed out, sleeping off all of his playtime. I will definitely be booking with Alexis again!”

“Marianne took great care of Miles for a week! He had lots of other dogs to play with. I appreciated how Marianne communicated with me too - very responsive and kept me in the loop.”

“Tracy was such a wonderful sitter for our senior pup. We were worried about finding someone who would be able to take care of her senior needs and potentially deal with any issues if they came up, but Tracy was the perfect fit and we feel very lucky to have found her. Highly recommend!”

“Daniella went above and beyond taking care of Buddy! They not only provided excellent care for our dog, but also kept us updated with frequent photos and thoughtful check-ins. We felt completely at ease knowing Buddy was in such loving hands. Highly recommend!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Martha as our dog sitter! She was incredibly flexible with the booking process, which made everything so easy and stress-free. Throughout our time away, she sent regular updates and photos of our puppy, which we really appreciated. Martha also took him on walks and gave him lots of attention and care. He came home happy and relaxed. We could tell she truly loves animals. Would I recommend her to others? Absolutely, without hesitation!”

“Alexandrea dropped in on our 2 big black labs for 3 days while we were traveling. She was always on time and very responsive. I had to add another drop in at the last minute and she was able to help us! I'm very grateful for her hard work and would be happy to use her again.”

“Marianne was amazing! She welcomed my two little Shih Tzus into her home and treated them like they were part of the family. I got a few pictures during the day and could see how relaxed my pups were with her. Highly recommend!”

“This was my puppy’s first time at day care with Katy or any sitter outside of friends and family. I let Katy know ahead of time that I was nervous to leave my puppy with someone she didn’t know and she might be nervous as well being in an unfamiliar place. Katy said she could work with my puppy’s nerves and pre approved with me giving her treats! My puppy had so much fun playing fetch with Katy’s dogs and exploring her yard. Katy was very communicative and sent lots of pics and videos of my girl. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a local sitter.”

About: Hi, I'm Anna! I am a passionate, highly trained animal lover dedicated to giving your pet the safest and most fun experience possible. Since March, I have been an active volunteer with the Sacramento SPCA, where I have completed intensive online courses and hands-on, in-person training in canine behavior, body language, and socialization. I am fully certified to handle and walk the shelter's Green and Orange color-coded dogs. Because of my training and reliability, the SPCA also trusts me with their Foster Furlough program for their highest-need Pink color-coded dogs. This means I regularly take these advanced-level dogs out of the shelter environment for day trips and overnight stays in my home to give them a break. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk, structured socialization, or just an attentive and loving overnight companion, I know exactly how to read their body language and keep them safe in real-world situations. I have a very flexible part-time schedule, my own reliable vehicle for check-ins, and a deep commitment to following your exact house rules and routines. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I don’t work so I’m home pretty much all time unless I’m running errands. I’m available Tuesday-sat to come and help out with your babies!! I have a fenced yard but always prefer to watch them while there going potty or playing! I’d also be able to crate them if needed:)
“Sammy was great! Took my boy at the last minute and was so good with him, and as an owner of an Akita, she did so well and put us at ease while we enjoyed our music festival. Would highly recommend her and if we are back in Sacramento will definitely reach out to her again”

I also have a kindergartner who absolutely loves animals and enjoys having a gentle buddy to play with. We take daily walks to break up our day, so your pet will get regular movement, fresh air, and lots of love in between. Pets in my care are treated like part of the family. We have a large, fully fenced backyard perfect for safe outdoor play, exploring, and burning off energy. Since I work from home, pets get plenty of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day—plus lots of playtime, cuddles, and regular breaks to keep them happy and engaged. 🐾
About: I have had dogs all my life growing up. Honestly - there has never been a year in my life where I have not owned a dog. I have experience with small dogs to large dogs. I have volunteered for several shelters when I was younger. I have cared for senior dogs and dogs who have cancer. My dogs are spoiled and honestly, they are not pets but family. I love my dogs unconditionally the way they love me. I currently work from home all week. I am free to play, run around, and walk my furry family throughout the day. I am usually home during the day, in the evenings and on weekends. I have a fenced yard. The yard is large and has grass and play toys. I have two furry family dogs to keep your pet company as well. My home is dog friendly with multiple dog beds, toys, and treats. I have extra crates, leashes, harnesses, treats, bowls, and blankets.
“Kerstin took excellent care of my young pup! My options were limited for my three month old pup and we were able to connect quickly. She followed my instructions well and has even help train my pup to be gentle when giving treats! My dog has so much fun that when I puck him up, he doesn't want to leave lol! He is happy and tired by the time we get home I highly recommend!!”

“Johnna took such great care of Luna. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. We received pictures and updates that kept us feeling confident in her care. Thank you Johnna!”

“This was our first time taking our two dogs to Wyne for daycare. She is amazing! She kept in touch with us throughout the day. It is always very comforting finding a pet sitter that your dogs like and keeps you updated on how they are doing.”

“Our 1-year-old wheaten terrier enjoyed his time with Monica. He came home happy and ready to rest after a day of playing. Monica kept us updated on Chewys progress during the day and communicated well with us. I would definitely recommend Monica to care for your pup!”

“Ann and Steve are great!! Nina is always so happy and also tired out when she comes home. Ann gives a lot of updates and I trust that Nina is in good hands when I leave her with them. She played a lot and ate lots of treats.”

“Andrea was such a lifesaver! Scheduling was easy and she was flexible with drop-off/pick-up. The moment we met, I felt confident our pup was going to be loved and cared for by Andrea and her family. She sent pictures and updates, and even let our fur baby sleep on her bed. So happy and thankful for our experience.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Alexis and her family. Bonnie loved spending the day playing with the kids and other dogs. Communication with Alexis was also great - we’d happily book again!”

About: Hello there! My name is Brenda and I am new to the Greater Sacramento area. Before moving to Rancho Cordova I volunteered at the Inland Valley Humane Society and SPCA. I've always been an animal lover and have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including my own pets and helping care for family and friends' pets. I'm comfortable with different personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and quirks. I'm naturally very patient and attentive with animals, and I genuinely enjoy to know their personalities. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers to relax and cuddle, I'm happy to meet them where they're at and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. My schedule is very flexible right now, so I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, or boarding — mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I may eventually pick up part-time work, but even then I’d still have consistent time set aside for pet care. There’s also a park right across the street from my apartment, so daily walks and playtime are easy to build into the routine. I enjoy having a reason to get outside, stay active, and spend time with animals, so walks and drop-in visits fit really naturally into my day. I am also able to plan my schedule around your pet's routine and make sure they get the attention and care they need rather than feeling like they're just being checked off my list. Your pets safety and comfort are my biggest priorities. I always want pets to feel secure and comfortable in their environment. I live in an apartment with two cats of my own so I don’t currently have dogs at home — just a calm, clean space I keep consistent for any pet staying with me. My cats are used to visitors and generally easygoing, but I’m happy to talk through introductions ahead of time if that matters for your pet. There’s a park directly across the street, which makes it easy to get dogs outside for exercise multiple times a day. I'm respectful of your home, your pet's normal routine. I'll make sure doors and gates are secure, follow feeding and medication instructions when needed, and pay attention to anything that seems unusual with your pet. Most importantly, I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, so I'll treat them with the same patience and care I could want for my own.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I have taken care of family members dogs, newborn pups, potty trained, taken care of senior dogs who need assistance with getting on and off the couch or give them their meds. I have previously dogsat/housesat for about 2 1/2 weeks. I work from home so I am able to relocate where needed. I have time early mornings or afternoon/evenings. I am available weekends and holidays. I make sure dogs are taking naps when needed, so if they are crate trained I make sure after play time or walking they get naps. In my home and clients home we follow a schedule for feeding and potty breaks. Usually enjoy going for walks during lunch time and evenings. During weekends tend to go to the park or for longer walks.
About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

About: I have been around dogs since childhood and have many years of hands-on experience caring for them. I truly love animals and understand how important patience, attention, and responsibility are. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities and will always treat your pet with the same care and kindness I give my own. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make time for dog walks throughout the week. I can arrange my availability around scheduled bookings and will always make sure I have enough time to give each dog my full attention. Safety, trust & environment: Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. During walks, I will always follow the owner’s instructions, keep dogs securely leashed, pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings, and make sure they receive a safe, enjoyable, and caring walk.
“Raina has done a wonderful job walking our dog. We had a lot of additional details and she can be a bit of a high maintenance pup and Raina took it all in stride. Our pup loves her and her walks!”

About: I’ve had many, many pets over the years. Dogs, cats, birds. After our daughters were grown and our last cat passed on we decided to be pet free for a while. While there are advantages to not having animals (being able to leave home without the worry), I miss them and thought this might be a way to fill the pet void. I am retired and so I am free to feed, walk and play with your cats and/or dogs. I look forward to meeting them. I am not taking care of pets in my home at this time but happy to come to your home and spend time, feed and walk your pets.
About: For the past 4 years when I came home from college, I would make sure to spend quality time with my two dogs by taking them to the dog park at least 2 days a week, playing and giving them pets because I have found this is how my dogs feel most loved. In high school I was often asked by my neighbors and family friends to watch their dogs (who often had separation anxiety). In these cases, for the hours I would check up on them or the nights I spent over I would play make sure to always be in the same space as them, keep talking to them lovingly and giving them pets. I just graduated from college and am looking for something short term before I find an internship or job. I am available from 6am to 6pm on weekdays and possibly certain weekends (: I am open to staying overnight if needed. At my client's house, neighborhood or park nearby I would give attentive care to their pet by playing, talking, and giving them pets to make sure they feel loved.

About: Hi there! I’m Mykala – full-time professional by day, aerialist by night, and animal whisperer always. 🐾✨ I do pet visits before and after my 8-4:30 (because let’s be honest—coffee and cats is the dream 😂), and I’ve been around animals my whole life. I’ve even helped train service dogs when I was younger, so I’ve got a solid foundation in care, patience, and earning tail wags. Giving meds? No problem—pills or mix-ins are totally in my skill set! Needles though? That’s a no from me, dog 😆😅 I’m a go-with-the-flow Rover sitter who adapts to your pet’s vibe. Whether they’re cuddle monsters or the “don’t touch me, peasant” type, I respect their boundaries and do my best to make them feel comfy and safe. I genuinely love doing this as a side hustle because hey—getting paid to hang out with all kinds of floofy personalities? Sign me up. Let’s make your time away feel like a staycation for your pet. ✨ I normally have some extra time before and after I get off work and I already pet sit a lot for friends so I thought why not do it more mainstream since I enjoy it so much 🥰 When doing house dropins, my goal is to let you relax, knowing your furbaby is well taken care of while you're away. Whether it's giving them food, treats, or some much needed attention, I've got it covered. 💕

“Have had Isabella dog walking service for a few months now, and I am still thrilled with her service! She's super attentive for my pup and I've seen such a growth in independence and potty training since having her. Thanks a million again, Isabella!”

About: I have had dogs (and cats) my entire life. Trained, love and traveled across the US with my animals in tow with me. We currently have two dogs, Ozzy & Bear. No pet sitting at our house. Animals need to be in their own environment where it is safe and they are comfortable with their own toys & bed.

“Janice was an excellent sitter. My dog had a an unforeseen medical issue and Janice volunteered to take my dog to the veterinary clinic which was above and beyond expectations. Janice sent updates throughout the days my dog was in her care via pictures and short videos. I highly recommend Janice.”

“Margot is still snoozing away after spending a fun filled weekend with Katy and her canine crew. Katy is very knowledgeable about dogs, and how to train them, and did an excellent job caring for Margot. Her house is located near a dog park, and is retrofitted for dogs. I will definitely be contacting her for future stays.”

“Erin was the best! She took great care of our dog. She was always super responsive and gave daily updates with pictures. Would for sure let her watch our dog again!”

I know firsthand how expensive pet boarding is, not to mention stressful, so I am here to make traveling and being away easier. I work very part time and stay home with my kids, so I am available regularly and have an extremely flexible schedule for accommodating needs.
“I messaged Coryn super last minute, literally the day we were leaving asking if she could take our dog for the weekend. She was able to and as always communicated great with us while she watched our Ruby. Highly recommend.”
