“My puppy really enjoyed his stay with Wyne. We were initially worried since he’s only 3 months old and will be away from us for 10 days. However, Wyne updates us with a picture or 2 everyday (never missed) to let us know how our pup is doing. That puts all our worries away and I even got a little concerned that our puppy might not want to come home anymore since he was having so much fun. Wyne even checked up on King 2 days after he came home since he had a little allergy when he went home. I will definitely be using Wyne again for my pup’s overnight stays.”

About: Hello there! My name is Brenda and I am new to the Greater Sacramento area. Before moving to Rancho Cordova I volunteered at the Inland Valley Humane Society and SPCA. I've always been an animal lover and have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including my own pets and helping care for family and friends' pets. I'm comfortable with different personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and quirks. I'm naturally very patient and attentive with animals, and I genuinely enjoy to know their personalities. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers to relax and cuddle, I'm happy to meet them where they're at and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. My schedule is very flexible right now, so I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, or boarding — mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I may eventually pick up part-time work, but even then I’d still have consistent time set aside for pet care. There’s also a park right across the street from my apartment, so daily walks and playtime are easy to build into the routine. I enjoy having a reason to get outside, stay active, and spend time with animals, so walks and drop-in visits fit really naturally into my day. I am also able to plan my schedule around your pet's routine and make sure they get the attention and care they need rather than feeling like they're just being checked off my list. Your pets safety and comfort are my biggest priorities. I always want pets to feel secure and comfortable in their environment. I live in an apartment with two cats of my own so I don’t currently have dogs at home — just a calm, clean space I keep consistent for any pet staying with me. My cats are used to visitors and generally easygoing, but I’m happy to talk through introductions ahead of time if that matters for your pet. There’s a park directly across the street, which makes it easy to get dogs outside for exercise multiple times a day. I'm respectful of your home, your pet's normal routine. I'll make sure doors and gates are secure, follow feeding and medication instructions when needed, and pay attention to anything that seems unusual with your pet. Most importantly, I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, so I'll treat them with the same patience and care I could want for my own.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I have taken care of family members dogs, newborn pups, potty trained, taken care of senior dogs who need assistance with getting on and off the couch or give them their meds. I have previously dogsat/housesat for about 2 1/2 weeks. I work from home so I am able to relocate where needed. I have time early mornings or afternoon/evenings. I am available weekends and holidays. I make sure dogs are taking naps when needed, so if they are crate trained I make sure after play time or walking they get naps. About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

While there are advantages to not having animals (being able to leave home without the worry), I miss them and thought this might be a way to fill the pet void. In high school I was often asked by my neighbors and family friends to watch their dogs (who often had separation anxiety). In these cases, for the hours I would check up on them or the nights I spent over I would play make sure to always be in the same space as them, keep talking to them lovingly and giving them pets. I just graduated from college and am looking for something short term before I find an internship or job. I am available from 6am to 6pm on weekdays and possibly certain weekends (: I am open to staying overnight if needed. About: Ever since childhood, I have always been surrounded by pets, from big animals, to cats and dogs. I can do everything from walks in the park to giving them baths. proper pet care is something important for your pets well being Currently I am enrolled in college at Sacramento State, my summer classes are online so there is time to check on your animals between my classes. How I care for my dog Is that she gets feed once in the morning and once at night. when I have time before class, excluding Monday and Wednesday this semester, I take my pup on at least a 20 min walk. She spends most her time outside, but sleeps inside at night.
About: I have taken care of my husky malamute mix for over 8 years. Because of him, I’ve learned to look after a large, stubborn dog who is difficult to control. As a result, I have to ability to handle unexpected scenarios. I love working with all dogs and as usually as excited as they are to play and go for walks :) I’m mostly available evenings during the week or very early in the morning, while on weekends I have a lot of availability. I’m an engineering student at UC Davis, and I’m involved on campus and in the local community. I just quit my corporate job so I have a lot of time and flexibility to play with your dog, take them to the park, go for a walk, or simply keep them company. I work very part time and stay home with my kids, so I am available regularly and have an extremely flexible schedule for accommodating needs. We have a one story home with a large fenced in yard for safe exploring and sun bathing. Our home is currently pet free, so your pets would have full control of the place!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I have taken care of family members dogs, newborn pups, potty trained, taken care of senior dogs who need assistance with getting on and off the couch or give them their meds. I have previously dogsat/housesat for about 2 1/2 weeks. I work from home so I am able to relocate where needed. I have time early mornings or afternoon/evenings. I am available weekends and holidays. I make sure dogs are taking naps when needed, so if they are crate trained I make sure after play time or walking they get naps. In my home and clients home we follow a schedule for feeding and potty breaks. Usually enjoy going for walks during lunch time and evenings. During weekends tend to go to the park or for longer walks.
