About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

“Our dog Baxter hasn’t been to doggy day care for a couple of years, so he had extra anxiety on top of his normal separation anxiety. Cliff allowed us to meet up the day prior to ensure that Baxter would be comfortable in the environment, which included a cat. The visit was a success. Cliff had a room dedicated to the animals and a beautiful backyard with vibrant green grass, which Baxter loved. Cliff was very friendly and seemed like a natural with dogs. This made us feel good about leaving Baxter with him for doggy day care the next day. When we dropped Baxter off, he acted shy at first, hesitant to approach and sticking close to us, but he looked very happy at pick-up, wagging his tail and greeting us with excitement. Cliff sent a photo and update about Baxter's visit. Baxter usually needs several visits to trust new people. Cliff patiently gave him space as he introduced and welcomed him to the pack, making the experience feel calm and positive for Baxter. We highly recommend Cliff, and will be using his services in the future.”

I’ve worked with both smaller and larger breeds, and started this journey a few months ago. I currently work with a friend and have had positive experiences with all of my clients so far! I am comfortable doing overnight stays, check-ins, and walks. Expect lots of pictures!! I always treat every pet I sit for/check-in on as if they were my own. I also am in the process of obtaining my pet CPR certification! I am currently a student and am usually available most days of the week. My fall school schedule will keep me occupied Tuesdays from 8am-2pm, and Thursday from 8am-10:30am. Usually afternoons work better, but I can do mornings when needed! For overnight stays, I am okay with staying for most of the day as long as I can leave for appointments and such. I enjoy staying in, so I don’t mind it :) I love to play with the pets as much as possible! Seeing them happy, fed and satisfied makes my day and I’ll do my best to meet their every need. I always take lots of pictures, mostly because I can’t handle the cuteness! If they have strict feeding, walking or medication schedules, I will make sure to stick to those. I just need written instructions and I am good to go!

About: I have taken care of my husky malamute mix for over 8 years. Because of him, I’ve learned to look after a large, stubborn dog who is difficult to control. As a result, I have to ability to handle unexpected scenarios. I love working with all dogs and as usually as excited as they are to play and go for walks :) I’m mostly available evenings during the week or very early in the morning, while on weekends I have a lot of availability. I’m an engineering student at UC Davis, and I’m involved on campus and in the local community. About: I have had pets my whole life. Whether it’s dogs or cats, I will love spending time with them. I have learned to take care of a multitude of different animals and now I am excited to take care of yours! I am currently on my summer break from college so I have lots of time to be able to do different services like walking, house sitting, etc. I have experience staying at others homes to take care of pets. I always follow the instructions given by the owner and am respectful in their space!
About: I have had dogs (and cats) my entire life. Trained, love and traveled across the US with my animals in tow with me. We currently have two dogs, Ozzy & Bear. I am retired and love to garden, travel and play with our dogs! We moved back to the Sacramento Area recently and would like to do something fun and thought pet sitting would fit perfect. No pet sitting at our house. Animals need to be in their own environment where it is safe and they are comfortable with their own toys & bed.
