About: Hi, I'm Anna! I am a passionate, highly trained animal lover dedicated to giving your pet the safest and most fun experience possible. Since March, I have been an active volunteer with the Sacramento SPCA, where I have completed intensive online courses and hands-on, in-person training in canine behavior, body language, and socialization. I am fully certified to handle and walk the shelter's Green and Orange color-coded dogs. Because of my training and reliability, the SPCA also trusts me with their Foster Furlough program for their highest-need Pink color-coded dogs. This means I regularly take these advanced-level dogs out of the shelter environment for day trips and overnight stays in my home to give them a break. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk, structured socialization, or just an attentive and loving overnight companion, I know exactly how to read their body language and keep them safe in real-world situations. I have a very flexible part-time schedule, my own reliable vehicle for check-ins, and a deep commitment to following your exact house rules and routines. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I don’t work so I’m home pretty much all time unless I’m running errands. I’m available Tuesday-sat to come and help out with your babies!! I have a fenced yard but always prefer to watch them while there going potty or playing! I’d also be able to crate them if needed:)

Please note I have a Kindergartener so animals *must* be kid friendly. No aggressive breeds (even if a mix), or history of biting. your pet will have plenty of attention throughout the day—not long stretches alone. I also have a kindergartner who absolutely loves animals and enjoys having a gentle buddy to play with. We take daily walks to break up our day, so your pet will get regular movement, fresh air, and lots of love in between. Pets in my care are treated like part of the family. We have a large, fully fenced backyard perfect for safe outdoor play, exploring, and burning off energy. Since I work from home, pets get plenty of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day—plus lots of playtime, cuddles, and regular breaks to keep them happy and engaged. 🐾

About: I've always loved dogs growing up and learned to train them since I also have smart and energetic dogs who need playtime, socialization, love, and discipline. I just quit my corporate job so I have a lot of time and flexibility to play with your dog, take them to the park, go for a walk, or simply keep them company. I can drive to your house for visits, walks, or take them to the park. I can also take them to my place for boarding or playtime. I have a huge fenced backyard and a fenced pool as well if you'd like your dog to swim, we can arrange for this as well. I have 2 friendly dogs who will also keep your dog company.

“Our dog Baxter hasn’t been to doggy day care for a couple of years, so he had extra anxiety on top of his normal separation anxiety. Cliff allowed us to meet up the day prior to ensure that Baxter would be comfortable in the environment, which included a cat. The visit was a success. Cliff had a room dedicated to the animals and a beautiful backyard with vibrant green grass, which Baxter loved. Cliff was very friendly and seemed like a natural with dogs. This made us feel good about leaving Baxter with him for doggy day care the next day. When we dropped Baxter off, he acted shy at first, hesitant to approach and sticking close to us, but he looked very happy at pick-up, wagging his tail and greeting us with excitement. Cliff sent a photo and update about Baxter's visit. Baxter usually needs several visits to trust new people. Cliff patiently gave him space as he introduced and welcomed him to the pack, making the experience feel calm and positive for Baxter. We highly recommend Cliff, and will be using his services in the future.”

About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

Soon after we dropped her off Katy sent us a short video of walking Gidget and teaching her to heel, and throughout the day sent a few more explaining and showing us how and how well Gidget was doing. About: I've had pet dogs my entire life, but as an adult I've personally adopted 2 dogs and a cat of my own. I have cared for pets at every stage of their life. I'm a freelance digital artist so my availability is open. I don't do artwork outside of my home, however. If I'm working for you that has my full attention. In my home I have a pool. My pug can swim but I'm still always outside when she is. Im very attentive when I take on responsibilities. My house is spacious and we are open to crating. Our pets sleep inside with us.

I have volunteered for several shelters when I was younger. I have cared for senior dogs and dogs who have cancer. My dogs are spoiled and honestly, they are not pets but family. “Ann and Steve are so great! Ann allowed us to do a meet & greet to check out her backyard and to get to know our dogs. She does not have pets and prefers to sit one pet family at a time. Awesome right? Ann is very knowledgeable with dogs, patient and so very kind. Ann sent pics of Sasuke and Winston. You can tell Sasuke was happy to be there. Winston is just shy overall but warmed up to Ann and Steve. I would definitely book with Ann again. She is one of the best sitters.”
