“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: I've had pet dogs my entire life, but as an adult I've personally adopted 2 dogs and a cat of my own. I have cared for pets at every stage of their life. I'm a freelance digital artist so my availability is open. I don't do artwork outside of my home, however. If I'm working for you that has my full attention. In my home I have a pool. We have a large, grassy, fully fenced backyard and a dog door that allows dogs to come and go freely at their own pace. In addition, I regularly take dogs outside for potty breaks throughout their stay. Dogs are treated like family here and are welcome on the furniture and beds. We provide pet stairs to help them safely access couches and beds, making them feel as comfortable as they would in their own home. Daily walks are offered during the cooler parts of the day, typically in the early morning and again in the late afternoon or evening. Providing a safe, secure, and loving environment is my top priority. Our large, fenced backyard offers plenty of space for exercise, play, and relaxation. We also share our home with two friendly, long-haired, five-year-old Dachshunds who enjoy the company of visiting dogs. We strive to maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere where dogs can settle in comfortably and enjoy their stay. We provide extra dog beds for guests, and if your dog prefers or requires a crate, you're welcome to bring your own. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, cuddling on the couch, relaxing in the yard, or simply being around caring people, they'll receive personalized attention and plenty of love while you're away.
“Nelly has been great with our nervous pup Zoey. On the first day, Nelly introduced her gently and gradually to the environment, starting with the backyard and then moving indoors. Zoey was able to explore at her own place rather than being overwhelmed in the situation. Our baby has been less nervous each time we've visited thanks to Nelly's thoughtful care (and her friendly Chihuahua!) and we are so happy with the progress so far. Zoey previously stayed at a kennel but did not fare well at all because of her disposition. Now that we found Nelly, we can actually travel and see family again, with the peace of mind knowing Zoey will be in good hands.”

Nicole is great! I have not been a dog Mom since I was seven. My doggy is a new Rescue to me. That being said, he's very excitable as well as not potty trained yet . Nicole was very patient and answered all of my questions and concerns. I had a previous boarding experience that did not go so well because the dogs in the home barked at mine the entire time he was there (days). With that information, Nicole introduced her dogs to mine one at a time. My dog spent several hours at her home and got along so well with her fur babies. It was like a great play date! I am happy to have her as a resource should I need to board my pup.
