They have gone above and beyond taking him with very little notice and picking him up and returning him. I feel very confident about his safety while in their care. Recently, I had an emergency and they picked him up without any notice and I boarded him with them for 3 days. This was the first time he was away from home and his first night he was nervous, but they gave him lots of reassurance and comfort. “Nelly has been great with our nervous pup Zoey. On the first day, Nelly introduced her gently and gradually to the environment, starting with the backyard and then moving indoors. Zoey was able to explore at her own place rather than being overwhelmed in the situation. Our baby has been less nervous each time we've visited thanks to Nelly's thoughtful care (and her friendly Chihuahua!) and we are so happy with the progress so far. Zoey previously stayed at a kennel but did not fare well at all because of her disposition. Now that we found Nelly, we can actually travel and see family again, with the peace of mind knowing Zoey will be in good hands.”

No escape artist has been able to successfully escape our living quarters LOL

About: I love dogs and care for each of them like they're my own. I love to see them smile when I know they're having fun on a walk or while playing. I like to keep them entertained and will give them all of the hugs and kisses. I know how to deal with typical doggie behaviors and will ensure your dogs are happy, healthy, entertained, and safe. Safety is my number one priority and will always keep a watchful eye on them. I have experience with dogs with special dietary and medical needs and am great tricking dogs into taking their medicine when then they need it! About: There is nothing I love more than a day walking and playing with dogs. So becoming a pet sitter is a dream come true! I grew up with dogs (a golden retriever and a sheltie) and many cats. I currently have a very sweet GSD rescue dog named Roxy. I also have two Savannah cats who act like dogs. I have spent a lot of time as an adult pet sitting other people's adorable furry friends. I'm good at reading dog body language and will be able to help keep your pet comfortable during their stay with me. If your pup is a little anxious, don't worry. I know how to engage with an anxious dog without being overbearing, to help them take their mind off the fact that their family is gone. I'll play with them, give them a frozen Kong or other toy to play with, and I'm fully available for snuggles. My dog was leash reactive, and because of him, I am very experienced with reactive dogs and difficult walkers! So if your pup is reactive or anxious, they’ll been in good hands with me. I'm so excited to meet you and your dog! If you have a cat, no problem! I'm happy to spend time with feline friends as well. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule so I can stop in and check on your fur baby early mornings, during the day, or evenings. I always carefully follow clients indirections for how to care for their pets and behave in their home. I’ve been a pet parent to a high maintenance dog and a few crazy cats, so I know a lot about pet safety and how to thwart escape attempts.

About: I've always loved dogs growing up and learned to train them since I also have smart and energetic dogs who need playtime, socialization, love, and discipline. I just quit my corporate job so I have a lot of time and flexibility to play with your dog, take them to the park, go for a walk, or simply keep them company. I can drive to your house for visits, walks, or take them to the park. I can also take them to my place for boarding or playtime. I have a huge fenced backyard and a fenced pool as well if you'd like your dog to swim, we can arrange for this as well. I have 2 friendly dogs who will also keep your dog company.

About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently do not have our own pets, but understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.

The coursed dinner we attended ended up taking much longer that I anticipated and Anna was so sweet and understanding when we were later to pick up Deuce than what we had scheduled. About: Hi, I'm Anna! I am a passionate, highly trained animal lover dedicated to giving your pet the safest and most fun experience possible. Since March, I have been an active volunteer with the Sacramento SPCA, where I have completed intensive online courses and hands-on, in-person training in canine behavior, body language, and socialization. I am fully certified to handle and walk the shelter's Green and Orange color-coded dogs. Because of my training and reliability, the SPCA also trusts me with their Foster Furlough program for their highest-need Pink color-coded dogs. This means I regularly take these advanced-level dogs out of the shelter environment for day trips and overnight stays in my home to give them a break. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk, structured socialization, or just an attentive and loving overnight companion, I know exactly how to read their body language and keep them safe in real-world situations. I have a very flexible part-time schedule, my own reliable vehicle for check-ins, and a deep commitment to following your exact house rules and routines. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I don’t work so I’m home pretty much all time unless I’m running errands. I’m available Tuesday-sat to come and help out with your babies!! I have a fenced yard but always prefer to watch them while there going potty or playing! I’d also be able to crate them if needed:)
