About: I've had dogs since I was 5, and cared for cats, rodents, reptiles, chickens and fish. I can give animals medication in pill form and spend lots of time loving on your pet. I'm currently somewhat free, and I figured I'd add this to get some exercise in. I love spending time with animals, I really don't get to do it enough. I have a good memory and I'm good at following instructions. Dog and cat body language is familiar to me, and I'll make sure your animal is always comfortable.

I have experience with dogs of different sizes and personalities, including larger breeds. During visits and walks, I focus on safety, clear communication, fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, and giving your pet the care and attention they deserve while you are away. At this time, I am offering dog walking and drop-in visits only. I am not currently offering boarding, day care, or house sitting. I work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, so my availability is limited on those days. I am usually more available on most other days unless I am out of town or already booked. During drop-in visits and walks, I will follow your pet’s routine, provide fresh water, food if needed, potty breaks, attention, and photo updates. I am also comfortable caring for cats and will make sure they have food, water, a clean litter box, and space or affection depending on their personality. At this time, I offer dog walking and drop-in visits only. I am not currently offering boarding, day care, or house sitting. For services in a client’s home, safety is always my first priority. Before letting pets outside, I will check the yard for open gates, holes, or anything that could be unsafe. I will also make sure leashes, collars, and harnesses are secure and working properly before walks. During each visit, I will follow the pet parent’s instructions and routine as closely as possible, including feeding, water, potty breaks, walks, litter box cleaning, and any special care notes. I will keep doors and gates closed, pay attention to each pet’s behavior, and make sure they are safe and comfortable before I leave. I also believe communication builds trust, so I will send updates and photos to let you know how your pet is doing while you are away.

About: Friends and family have entrusted their pets in my care since I was able to take on the responsibility. As a animal lover and owner myself, I understand the difficulty of finding someone who will care for your pets as if they were their own. You can rest assure that the highest level and heartfelt care will be provided for your four-legged family members. I'm an active person who enjoys outdoor activities, so your dog will always have an eventful day! Currently a college student (Out for Summer) with a late morning, mid day schedule. Dogs will be let out/walked and fed in the morning before leaving for class. I return home around 2 and will let dogs back out and take on a walk once the afternoon has cooled. If your dog has a routine we can go off that! Someone is home all day even if I am away at school. Your pet will always have someone around. I have a fenced yard for safe roaming and a golden doodle to keep them company. There are 3 parks within walking distance if that’s something your dog would love.

About: I love animals and can't wait to care for your pet while you're away. I get the job done the way you want it, and I am no complainer! I am just a person who loves dogs/cats and making them happy. This should be a fun time for your little guy, and I can't think of a better way to spend my days! I have grown up surrounded by animals and have watched very diverse breeds including Pomeranians, Italian Grey Hounds, Pugs, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Huskies, Dachshunds, Shih Tzus, Aussies, Labs, Goldens, Corgis, and more. On top of my experience with numerous breeds I also have experience watching senior dogs, dogs needing anxiety medication, bathing dogs with skin conditions, etc. I miss having a dog to take care of, so I hope that you will consider me for your next service! I was also a foster parent at the Cat Adoption Team and have lots of experience with kittens and cats. My husband and I work together to provide the best all around care. We do have jobs outside of Rover, but I work from home 80% of the time, and my husband works from home 100% of the time. If we sound like a good fit, then I hope to hear from you! 😊 My husband and I can board/provide daycare for your animals any day of the week because of our work from home schedules. For dropins and house visits I am available most days, but usually not Tuesdays or Wednesdays. But feel free to ask, because my schedule is usually flexible! We have a fenced yard with chickens, and one cat. We are located in a quiet court with tons of birds and squirrels for your baby to watch.

About: I have taken care of my own dog, a big beautiful Shepard collie, for the past six years. Throughout my life I have dog-sat for many families; some neighbors, and some friends. Recently I've been caring for my friends chiweenie when they work long hours. Having been around and watched many dogs, I welcome pups of all sizes. I am currently going to college at Sac State, and have to be on campus two days a week, beginning in August. Besides those times, I will be able to be with your dog(s) and take care of their individual needs. I adore dogs and want them to be comfortable and happy with me, so I appreciate any instruction to help with that. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, to keep them entertained and get rid of any pent-up energy. If your dog has any problems with other dogs or people, I ask to know beforehand so I may plan accordingly. Puppies and senior dogs each have their own needs as well, and I am happy to accommodate both. I also ask to be aware of any dietary restrictions your dog may have, to be safe.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including raising several litters of chihuahua puppies. I’ve watched every family dog and pup grow up, and took care of them from birth to old age. Through my experiences, I’ve grown to intuit animals and can pick up on and anticipate their needs. I love nurturing fur babies and making sure they always feel comfortable, safe, and loved. When it comes to my own, I have been a pet parent for close to 6 years. I have a 5.5-year old pup who looks like a mini golden named Leia who is my world and absolutely loves making new friends!! I also have a 3-year old maltipoo pup who is a sweetheart named Chuy and plays with every dog he meets, he’s a charmer. We also have 1-year old Zoë and Luna who are descendants of our Leia & Chuy 🥰 On Rover, I have regularly taken care of many different dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes since 2018. I’m very flexible and can be requested the same day. I will be sure to give you updates and send pictures and videos of your dog throughout the visit to ensure their safety and happiness, and to show you some puppy play time with my fur babies. When I'm home, I may walk your dog (depending on the weather), will dedicate time to play with them, and give them lots of wholehearted love and treats. I have a spacious home for dogs to run around and play with an equally spacious backyard. I also live in a safe neighborhood. I currently work full-time and hybrid, and my partner works fully remotely so your dog will always be in good company! First thing I do in the morning is feed your fur baby, let them outside to go to the bathroom, and take them on a walk. Once we return from the walk, Leia typically likes to play with your fur baby for hours, but also knows when to give others space when needed. Once playtime is over, the doggies tend to nap for nearly the same amount of time. I feed your dogs additional organic treats that we have, unless you'd prefer I don't or if they have allergies. Doggies are allowed on the furniture (with a throw blanket on top) for extra snuggles, warmth and comfort. After work, I will take your dog for another walk around the neighborhood and then feed them again. I please ask that you bring your dog’s bed so they have their own space when they need to take it. I have a fenced backyard so your dog can go to the bathroom and soak in the sun anytime. My partner and I also take the dogs to the park occassionally after work and let them run around and play.

About: Ever since childhood, I have always been surrounded by pets, from big animals, to cats and dogs. I can do everything from walks in the park to giving them baths. proper pet care is something important for your pets well being Currently I am enrolled in college at Sacramento State, my summer classes are online so there is time to check on your animals between my classes. How I care for my dog Is that she gets feed once in the morning and once at night. when I have time before class, excluding Monday and Wednesday this semester, I take my pup on at least a 20 min walk. She spends most her time outside, but sleeps inside at night.
