“Ayla has been walking our dog for a month now and she has been fantastic! She is great at communicating what is going on and responds very quickly. Our dog has been so much happier since she started walking him. She’s exactly what we were looking for.”
“Joanna was absolutely perfect walking our two dogs over the long holiday weekend in 100 degree weather!! she took amazing care of the dogs even when one had an explosive accident - Johanna was respectful and so caring to our animals . she communicated great and we loved all the comments and pictures she sent while we were away. highly recommend and will 100% trying to rebook with her for our next trip!”

“Brooklyn has been walking Maggie for a week now and Maggie loves Brooklyn! Brooklyn is prompt to respond to requests and easy to communicate with. Maggie will be 14 this year and she requires accommodations and special handling. Brooklyn has demonstrated compassion and understanding with my detailed instructions. She takes care to pay attention to Maggie's energy and gait and provides updates on her activities. Brooklyn is trustworthy and I feel comfortable with giving her access to my home when I'm away. Thank you Brooklyn!”

About: I’m a kind and responsible person who truly loves animals. I had a cat for many years, and we also had a German Shepherd that I walked (she was strong and funny!). I really enjoy spending time with pets and making them feel happy and safe. Even though I’m new to pet sitting, I’ll treat your pets like my own 😊 I am available to walk your pets on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and on Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. I would be happy to take your pets for walks and make sure they get exercise, attention, and care. I keep pets safe, happy, and comfortable. I follow your instructions, give them lots of attention, and make sure they feel calm and cared for. I treat your pets like my own!
“Derek was amazing with my spastic 1 yr old Golden Retriever! She always came back worked out and tired and a huge smile on her face. Thank you for taking such great care of my Gemma!”

“Ashley did a fantastic job! She was communicative, punctual, and attentive! My dog is wearing the cone-of-shame and she was not only contientious to make sure Jazmine's cone was on after the walk, but sent me a picture of Jazmine with the cone on before she left. Ashely is a keeper!”

“McKenzi was the primary walker for my sweet girl, Olivia, for over a year and she was by far the most reliable walker that I had. She is amazing at communicating well in advance when she isn’t able to walk her so I can plan accordingly. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a walker, you won’t regret picking her!!!”

“Natalie did a great job. We have a recent rescue who has a lot of trauma and no training yet, and of course we are working with him daily to try to get him sorted out. But it’s a lot, and it’s hard to find someone who can handle him — he’s 70 pounds! Literally other dog sitters have met him and felt overwhelmed or intimidated. Natalie was fantastic. She has a ton of dog experience because she works with dogs daily as her profession, and it really shows. She was the perfect combination of compassionate, patient and firm to handle our tornado pup. I would use her again in a heartbeat (in fact we have already booked her) and I’d recommend her to anyone.”

About: Your pets are my passion! Currently I am a stay at home mom to 3 humans, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 chickens. It’s a wild ride but I love every moment! I've worked with animals professionally ranging from Animal Control Officer, to Kitten Nursery Coordinator, and Foster Care Coordinator. I absolutely love animals and have had hands on experience with just about every type of animal and age range. Administering medications is something I am comfortable with. There is no animal too big or small for me to love. I want to help love your animal, while you are away. Currently, I am a stay at home mom. With kids in preschool and elementary school, my schedule is flexible to come spend time with your pets! While working in the animal field, I encountered every type of animal and learned to meet each animal on their level. I can be bouncy with a puppy or slow and calm with a nervous senior kitty. I will work to provide a safe space that your fur babies will grow to trust my presence and eventual friendship.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals. Happy to come to you and stay at your house. I’ve worked with young animals, old animals. I love all animals and I’m happy to help I work for myself so pet sitting is the perfect side gig for me.i have my own full body waxing company but i love animals and have the time and am happy to help. I have a fenced yard but I go to my clients houses and take care of their house/animal while they are away but I’m happy to accommodate small dogs at my home

About: I have a 1 year old Australian Shepherd. I picked him up at 8 weeks old and immediately started training. He was potty trained just after 2 weeks. I taught him the basic obedience training as well as some funs ones such as shake, high five, and roll over. I am currently part time. I am available everyday after 4pm. I am free all day Saturday and Sundays. I am awake by 6am and sleep by 10pm. I am constantly playing with my aussie as soon as I get home. He is crate trained so when I get home I take him potty and we do some training. I then take him on a 20 minute walk with more training. Before dinner we play with his toys, do some fetch and tug.
About: I was raised in an animal lover house where pets are treated like family. I’ve had pets from as earlier as I can remember from cats, dogs, guinea pigs, etc. Right now I personally have 2 cats that I’ve raised since they were born, they are 3 and 4. I also spend my free time taking shelter dogs out on walks and hikes to give them some extra love or to just play in the grass. I am also currently taking care of my sisters tortoise while she’s away at college. I’m in nursing school right now during the weekdays, but my weekends are completely open to spend some extra time with your animals. I wouldn’t want to spend my extra time doing anything else. I know the warning signs for most animals when it comes to anxiety and fear. My cats can be escape artists sometimes so I am very careful with entering and exiting homes. I also know many animals are nervous when first meeting new people so I approach with that in mind, but I also don’t mind if your animal is over friendly and comes running up.
About: I have been a dog owner for over 14 years from puppy training to senior care I have done it all. When your dog is here, they are with family. I’m also a homeschooling mom who can give your dog(s) the attention they deserve day or night, literally. I am home most days including weekends, minus a kids’ class here or there a couple of times a week, but can easily accommodate your schedule with enough notice. I can do walks, day care, and even overnight boarding! I have a fenced yard for extra protection and am comfortable taking care of puppies or older dogs and anywhere in between. I have 2 friendly small dogs of my own who will help keep your fur baby company, but also have a big enough house to keep them separated if your pup needs some space. I can also crate your dog as needed/preferred (ie crate training at night).
“My hounds howl at anybody new, but not Lakeisha! Her energy was so warm and positive and her boiled chicken snack was a hit with my boys. I will certainly be booking Lakeisha again.”

“Brayden is awesome! He’s really great with my dog, she loves him and practically knocks him over with excitement when he arrives. I would definitely recommend Brayden for any of your pets needs!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s been surrounded by pups for as long as I can remember. My partner and I currently have two sweet, professionally trained dogs who are super dog-friendly and love making new furry friends! We also foster dogs, so we’re used to all kinds of personalities—from the super shy to the zoomie champions. Our home is full of love (and treats), and our dogs are crate trained, respectful, and always ready to welcome a new buddy into the pack. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, a drop-in visit for some playtime and belly rubs, or just a friendly face while you're away, we’ve got you covered! We love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and learning what makes them happiest—whether that’s chasing a ball, sniffing every tree, or just lounging in the sun. We can’t wait to meet your pup and help them feel right at home (even when they’re not)! I work from home and have plenty of time to care for your pets! Including midday walks, potty breaks, and outside playtime. We're available for boarding on weekends, starting at 5pm on Fridays. Your pup’s safety and comfort are our top priorities! We have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and our two friendly, well-trained dogs love having new friends to hang out with. Need a little extra space? No problem—we’re happy to crate dogs if requested or provide separate areas in our home for pups who prefer their own quiet corner. Whether your dog is super social or enjoys a bit more independence, we’re here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved every step of the way.
About: I adore animals and I grew up owning dogs and have taken care of dogs most of my life. I am fluent in doggone body language and the safety of your dog will be my #1 priority. Next comes fun and games! I will be happy to play with your dog and even give complimentary belly rubs! My primary job is as a teaching assistant at local school. I nearly always have afternoons and evenings available from 3-9 during the week and all day most weekends. My schedule during holiday breaks for local schools is even more open. I feed my own pets a high quality food, and I monitor their urine and stool for abnormalities regularly. When petting and or playing, I be sure to watch out for any unusual sore spots or anything other than the usual response to stimulation. I'm happy brushing your pet and playing with it, which are important but underappreciated parts of animal healthcare.
Gold River dog parents share their Rover experiences
Vanessa is hands down the best dog sitter/walker/person. She is incredibly reliable and easy to communicate with. She has come to the rescue on many last minute requests and is so supportive. She is so sweet and loving with my dog, who just absolutely adores her back. I truly don’t know what we would do without her. Thank you, Vanessa!

Eunji was fantastic! She arrived right on time, was incredibly sweet with my dog, and even went above and beyond by putting his food down for him which I really appreciated. She was also super accommodating, even stepping in on short notice. Eunji kept me updated with plenty of pictures and was very communicative throughout. She was great in every way, and I would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!
