About: I've dog walked for my neighbors since I was a kid, walked and cared for my roommates dogs. I used to take care of seniors and special needs individuals along with the pets they owned too! I can provide a calm nurturing environment, dually also an enriching fun one depending on the pets mood and personality. I'm a cat magnet and own a semi-adventure kitty. I have a calm vibe and the lil fuzzy dudes seem to appreciate it. Available for house sits anytime with a proper notice. Available for scheduled walks/sit or if my time is free a last minute walks/sit I take my shoes off when I enter your house. I don't put my feet up on the table. Your pet is my pet. Accidents have never made me upset, it happens especially with more fragile or elderly pets. Material and emotional respect is simply in my DNA.

Since I don't have a 9-to-5 pulling me away, I can be fully present with your pets rather than squeezing in visits between other obligations. Whether it's a quick daily check-in or a multi-day house sit, I have the time and attention to give your cats a consistent, calm routine while you're away. Whether I'm in your home or out on a walk, safety and consistency come first — pets feel most comfortable when their environment feels calm and predictable, so that's what I aim to create every time. In Your Home (Drop-Ins & House Sitting): I treat every home like it's not my own to take liberties with, but exactly as it was entrusted to me. That means: Following your instructions to the letter — feeding amounts, medication schedules, house rules (furniture, gates, closed doors) are treated as non-negotiable, not suggestions. Keeping doors and gates secured at all times, especially during entry and exit, so there's no risk of an escape. Doing a quick safety scan on arrival — checking that nothing's been knocked over, chewed, or left in a place that could be a hazard, and that food/water bowls are clean and full. Keeping cleaning supplies, medications, and anything toxic out of reach, and letting you know right away if I notice something that could pose a risk (an unlatched cabinet, a chewed cord, etc.). For house sitting specifically, maintaining your home's normal security — lights on a sensible schedule, doors locked, and treating your space with full respect and privacy. Sending photo/video updates so you can see, not just hear, that your pet is safe and settled. On Walks: A secure leash-and-collar (or harness) check before we ever step outside — I don't take a pet out the door until I've confirmed the gear is snug and secure. Sticking to routes I know well, so I can anticipate things like busy intersections, off-leash dogs, or construction — and adjusting the pace or path if something feels unsafe. Carrying water on hot days and watching closely for signs of overheating, fatigue, or discomfort. Keeping a firm, calm hold and clear boundaries around other dogs or people, so your pet never feels put in an unpredictable situation. Immediate check-ins with you if anything unexpected happens — an injury, an unusual reaction, anything out of the ordinary — rather than waiting until the visit is over. Building Trust: For every new pet, I take the first visit slow: letting them approach me on their own terms, learning their specific cues (what makes them anxious, what makes them relax), and following any introduction routine you'd like. I'd rather spend a little extra time earning a pet's trust up front than rush into handling that makes them uncomfortable. That calm, structured approach is really the foundation of everything I do — pets do best when they know exactly what to expect from the humans around them, and that's exactly what I aim to provide.

About: As someone who grew up with dogs, both small and large, I've learned what it takes to make sure the puppies are well cared for, between giving them the right food, making sure they go on walks, and grooming. Our pets are our best friends and so we should take the greatest care of them, and I'm willing to do that for all animals alike. I'm currently a part time worker both on weekends and weekdays and have lots of time to dedicate to taking care of pets. The only time I would not be able to offer my services is dueing weekends. In my home, I have a fenced yard to allow for our big huskies to have space to play and run, offering them toys that I know would keep them entertained. I also make sure to clean my dogs and ensure they eat healthily.

About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. Growing up on a farm in Oregon my family bred, and I showed, Newfoundlands so my experience with pets is pretty vast. I'm newly retired from my job as a magazine publisher, I have a super flexible schedule. I love animals and have often needed pet sitters so I know it can be a challenge to find someone trustworthy. Since I coached (Track) for 30+ years I've been background checked, fingerprinted and bonded by several institutions including USATF and the Folsom-Cordova School District. I am First Aid and Safe Sport compliant. I prefer to watch pets at a client's Folsom (or nearby) home as I have two dogs of my own to care for. If a dog is great with other dogs, they may be welcome to come to my house; I have a fully fenced backyard and would be present 100% of the time.

About: I've been pet sitting since the fifth grade. I've sat cats and dogs and I have experience pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I've always had a passion for animals so this is a great side gig for me. This semester, I will be in class from 9:30-5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and working from 9-2 on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will also be doing some training rides for the cycling teams in the range of 1-6 hours throughout the week. I will probably be hauling around my sewing machine for house sitting appointments as I need to work on my senior project. I don't offer in-home services as my current housing doesn’t allow for pets and because I think my space is too small for most dogs or cats to be happy. As a dog walker/sitter I will ensure your pets get the attention and care you would give them yourself; feeding, walking, playtime, and of course lots of pets and friendly words.
