She played with them with toys that she brought and even made them treat dispensers out of paper towel rolls. One of our kitties is really skittish and scared of people he does not know. He has his hiding spot in our closet. She would go in the closet and bring him his food, water and medicine so he had everything he needed right there. She was able to get him to come out of the closet on the third day that she came over! This was great as he does not usually come out of his hiding spot for anyone he doesn't know. She even got him to play and was able to pet him. Our other kitty is an escape artist and likes to dart out the front door sometimes. He did this to her twice and she was able to get him back in the house pretty quickly. Our heater was broken at the time so it was getting pretty cold in our house. She made a little bowl out of blankets for them to lay in to keep warm. She sent lots of pictures and it was great to see our kitties so happy. I would highly recommend Donna!”

I am available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and boarding depending on the dates needed. I prioritize maintaining your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and will provide updates and photos throughout their stay. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including large breeds, puppies, seniors, and dogs with special behavioral or medical considerations. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, exercise requirements, and any household rules you have in place. I have a fenced yard and can separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, triggers, and routine so I can provide individualized care.

About: My wife and I have been passionate about dogs for over 36 years. We've volunteered at the SPCA for the last 8 years, which is truly the highlight of our week. In that time, we've rescued over 50 dogs off the streets, reuniting them with their owners or finding them loving forever homes. We've also fostered 20 dogs, both long and short-term, and raised three wonderful Weimaraner's who all lived to be over 14. As they say, if you can raise a Weimaraner, you can care for any dog! About: I've been pet sitting since the fifth grade. I've sat cats and dogs and I have experience pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking. I've always had a passion for animals so this is a great side gig for me. This semester, I will be in class from 9:30-5:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and working from 9-2 on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will also be doing some training rides for the cycling teams in the range of 1-6 hours throughout the week. I will probably be hauling around my sewing machine for house sitting appointments as I need to work on my senior project. I don't offer in-home services as my current housing doesn’t allow for pets and because I think my space is too small for most dogs or cats to be happy. As a dog walker/sitter I will ensure your pets get the attention and care you would give them yourself; feeding, walking, playtime, and of course lots of pets and friendly words.
