“We have hired multiple sitters in multiple cities using this app. This doggy daycare is by far the best that we have had the privilege of sending our puppy to. Our five month old puppy is going through a trying time, with a terrible habit of humping everything in sight when he gets excited. We are working on it, but he’s such a difficult puppy to deal with right now. This host was very strategic with working around our puppy’s shortcomings and very forgiving. And was even helpful with giving us pointers on how to work on this bad behaviour. We are so very grateful to have been able to relax during our family’s belated Thanksgiving dinner knowing our baby was in very professional hands.”

About: With a decade of dog care experience, I can ensure a loving, exciting & healthy experience for however long you need your pets cared for! I’ve looked after a wide variety of breeds and have become accustomed to many dogs’ different quirks and habits, and have learned through my experience at different rescue organizations, how to manage them. I’ve volunteered at several dog rescue organizations across the Bay Area and have fostered dogs, myself. I’m passionate about animal welfare, understand how to administer medication to dogs and will be very gentle and loving with your pets, I know they’re special to each of you and will treat them as my own while watching them! About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

I have had several dogs ranging in sizes my entire life, as well as cats, birds, hamsters, and even hermit crabs. I trained my Retriever myself, and adopted him from a puppy mill rescue when he was 8 weeks old. I have been a reliable petsitter for friends and family for many years, have experience caring for rescued dogs/reactive dogs, and am excited to make more new pet friends! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I walk my own dog on my lunch break and after work, and would be able to check on/walk yours on a similar timeline! I have a fenced front yard and back yard, as well as exterior security cameras. My dog is very friendly and has been socialized since he was vaccinated and able to be introduced to other dogs.

“I booked Alora (Stacy) for doggy day care for my two dogs while I was out of town. Our meet and greet prior to booking went very well! I could easily tell how much Alora cared about taking care of animals. My dogs liked her and her dogs as well. Alora was accommodating, communicative and so kind! Due to the departure and return flight times for my trip, I needed a very early morning drop off and late night pick up. Alora was fine with this and even let me drop off a little early so I had time to get to the airport without being in a rush. Despite the length of my dogs' stay, she kept her rates as they were shown prior to my booking. She also sent multiple text updates as well as videos of my dogs. I felt confident that my dogs were in good hands while I was away! When I picked up my dogs, I could tell they had a great day and were both asleep shortly after I got them home. I would definitely recommend and book with Alora again!”
