Our five month old puppy is going through a trying time, with a terrible habit of humping everything in sight when he gets excited. And was even helpful with giving us pointers on how to work on this bad behaviour. About: I have been caring for pets since I was a child. I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I’ve also been involved in wildlife rehab rehabilitation. I am also a disaster service worker doing animal rescue during fires. I’ve always had pets in my home but recently lost my cat this year and my dog last year. I’m taking a break from having pets right now as the loss is still too new. Taking care of other people’s pets gives me a chance to have my animal fix :) I am currently retired so I have a lot of time on my hands. A typical day includes a couple of walks, and in between, we keep things fun and engaging with games in the backyard, from scent work to interactive play. Rather than dog parks, I focus on safe and enriching experiences on Folsom’s beautiful trails, giving your pup plenty of opportunities to explore, sniff, and enjoy outdoor time. We have a securely fenced yard and a friendly resident dog who’s happy to keep your pup company if desired. While we can accommodate crate-trained dogs if needed, we prefer a more relaxed environment where they can simply hang out with us. All dogs are welcome in our bedroom but not on the furniture, ensuring a cozy yet structured space. Along with our canine companions, we also share our home with six guinea pigs.

About: I am an animal lover but do not currently have any pets of my own. I had two cats and two dogs growing up and absolutely loved spending time with them. Hoping to get the chance to spend time with new furry friends. Please feel free to reach out if you are looking for a nice, trustworthy pet sitter. Animals bring me joy and happiness so this job is perfect for me. When I am pet sitting I will be home with them all day as I work from home. I am an HOA Manager so if I need to leave it’s for a 2 hour site walk and then back home. I don’t have grass on my back patio so I’ll plan to walk the dogs often at least every 4 hours. If I sit bigger dogs, they need to be leash trained and I’ll plan to take them to an open grassy area daily to fetch or walk depending on their age and energy level. I offer pet sitting services in my two-story, three-bedroom home located in a safe and welcoming neighborhood in Folsom. My home is pet-friendly and secure, providing a comfortable environment for your furry companions. I ensure all pets are fed on a consistent schedule and strictly adhere to their specific dietary needs.

I could easily tell how much Alora cared about taking care of animals. My dogs liked her and her dogs as well. Alora was accommodating, communicative and so kind! Due to the departure and return flight times for my trip, I needed a very early morning drop off and late night pick up. Alora was fine with this and even let me drop off a little early so I had time to get to the airport without being in a rush. Despite the length of my dogs' stay, she kept her rates as they were shown prior to my booking. She also sent multiple text updates as well as videos of my dogs. I felt confident that my dogs were in good hands while I was away! When I picked up my dogs, I could tell they had a great day and were both asleep shortly after I got them home. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for 16+ years and often dog sit for friends. My pup gets daily walks and playtime, and my cat enjoys both play and a tidy litter box—plus space when she wants it! I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and respect as my own. I work outside of the home only 2:15 a day Monday through Friday. This leaves me all day to tend to your pets’ every need. I wake up early, walk the dogs and feed them all. Then I let them outside for frequent bathroom breaks. I walk the dogs again the evenings after the sidewalk has had a chance to cool down. And feed them again. I am also flexible to whatever schedule you would like me to follow. My work schedule is from 10:45 am to 1 pm. So I am available the rest of the day for whatever is needed. I care for pets in my home with the same care I give my own pets. I am also very good at following instructions, so I will do whatever you need me to. My animals are allowed on the furniture and the bed. I will not let your animals do that if you don’t want me to. When I come to your house for drop-ins, I will do it at the time you need me to and follow the instructions you give.
