“Our dog Baxter hasn’t been to doggy day care for a couple of years, so he had extra anxiety on top of his normal separation anxiety. Cliff allowed us to meet up the day prior to ensure that Baxter would be comfortable in the environment, which included a cat. The visit was a success. Cliff had a room dedicated to the animals and a beautiful backyard with vibrant green grass, which Baxter loved. Cliff was very friendly and seemed like a natural with dogs. This made us feel good about leaving Baxter with him for doggy day care the next day. When we dropped Baxter off, he acted shy at first, hesitant to approach and sticking close to us, but he looked very happy at pick-up, wagging his tail and greeting us with excitement. Cliff sent a photo and update about Baxter's visit. Baxter usually needs several visits to trust new people. Cliff patiently gave him space as he introduced and welcomed him to the pack, making the experience feel calm and positive for Baxter. We highly recommend Cliff, and will be using his services in the future.”

I can offer your pup peaceful daily walks near your home, adventures at the local dog park and joyful romps in the nearby state parks as well. I can give lots of exercise and potty breaks, and I will work on whatever aspects of training needed as well. I am a pro trainer as well. If I'm caring for your pet in my home - they will be grateful for an easy life. There will be plenty of potty breaks and outdoor time if desired. (I can easily crate your dog if you would like me too as well.) I give pups the exercise needed for their age and desire - generally 2-4 hours per day of walking, romping and playing. (I will take them outside 2 times during the heat waves of summer, both in the mornings and early evenings). If it works for your pup, playing in parks and exploring the woods on exciting forest adventures is my specialty!

I offer private, one-dog* boarding with loving & attentive care - a great fit for dogs who enjoy walks, outdoor time, and a quiet place to settle. I care for one dog at a time (*two dogs if from the same home), allowing for lots of attention and a rhythm that best suits them. More than simply a safe place to board your dog, days here are filled with play, fresh air, outdoor exploration & exercise - just as I've always done with my own dogs. Even sensitive or anxious dogs settle in as if they’re on their own little vacation, returning home relaxed, happy, and wonderfully tired. I work part-time from home so dogs always stay within eyesight and enjoy a balance of outdoor activity and quiet downtime, with their safety as my first priority. My days are structured around the dogs in my care. Our days are a combination of outdoor time at our 30-acre park and quiet time at home. Dogs are in my company throughout the day and rarely out of eyesight. Having fostered and rescued dogs for many years, my home is very dog centric. The property sits beside a quiet 15-acre park. It’s a peaceful place with lots of birds and squirrels to watch from the patio. I’m experienced reading dog behavior and adjusting to their comfort level so whether on-leash at the park, resting, playing with me or their enrichment toys, dogs continue to stay within eyesight throughout throughout their visit.

About: I've had pet dogs my entire life, but as an adult I've personally adopted 2 dogs and a cat of my own. I have cared for pets at every stage of their life. I'm a freelance digital artist so my availability is open. I don't do artwork outside of my home, however. If I'm working for you that has my full attention. In my home I have a pool. My pug can swim but I'm still always outside when she is. Im very attentive when I take on responsibilities. My house is spacious and we are open to crating. Our pets sleep inside with us.
