About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and sizes my whole life. I truly love anyone’s animal like my own because I know what it’s like to worry about your pet when they are away. When they’re hanging out with me, you can expect lots of pictures, games of fetch in the backyard, and as many snuggles as possible. I prioritize the owners peace of mind. I have experience administering daily medications, with some pets being on multiple medications at different times of day. Rest assured, your pet will a place to call their second home when staying with me. I am home full time, your pet will experience my full attention all day. I prioritize a daily routine in my own life, and work hard to make sure your pet stays in theirs as well. My yard is fully fenced in and even my escape artist husky is safe and secure in the backyard. They will always be under my direct supervision when in the backyard. There are lots of toys to play with in the backyard, even an outdoor bed if they prefer to relax.

About: I grew up with a ton of dogs on a ranch so I have always loved animals. I have housesat, walked, watched, etc. All types of dogs from tiny poodles to giant great Pyrenees. I also have experience with cats, birds, and other pets! We have two friendly dogs of our own, a Papillon and a Min Pin/Jack Russell mix, who enjoy having new companions around. They’re social, well-behaved, and help create an easygoing atmosphere for visiting pups. If a dog prefers their own space, I can separate areas to make sure everyone feels relaxed. For boarding in my home, I do require that dogs are potty trained. If you’re still working on potty training, I’m more than happy to support that process in your home. I’m also comfortable with crate routines, senior care, medication reminders, and maintaining whatever structure your dog is used to. As a father and longtime pet owner, safety and communication are top priorities, I send photo updates and check-ins so you always feel connected while you’re away.

I absolutely recommend Derek and Leslie!! They are genuinely caring for the pets they watch! My 12 week old puppy, Maggie, felt right at home in their house. She was closely attended to, was safe and had lots of fun playing in their wonderful backyard. Several times through Maggie’s stay, they texted photos of Maggie running, playing, napping.
