A TYPICAL DAY - Dogs enjoy a balanced day of activity, social time, and relaxation. They start with outdoor potty breaks and a calm breakfast, then can choose to rest, play indoors, or explore our secure outdoor areas. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy structured activities like Sniffari scent trails, interactive play, and mental stimulation games, or simply relax with cuddles, snuggles, and quiet time on couches or dog beds. In the afternoons and evenings, dogs can continue to explore the yard, enjoy gentle play, or relax alongside our family. Every dog can decide how to spend their day, with plenty of love, attention, and care.

FULL-TIME PROFESSIONAL PET NANNY

Pet care experience

Your dog deserves a loving home with experienced, professional care, and that is exactly what we provide. When your dog is with us, they are part of our family and our daily life from the moment they arrive, and we work around them, their needs, and their routine. I am Julia, and for over 20 years pet care has been my full-time profession and my passion. My partner works from home full-time and our older children (aged 12 and 14) are experienced and respectful around dogs, meaning your dog is surrounded by calm, consistent, caring people throughout their stay. We would love to welcome your dog into our home. 💛 EXPERIENCED CARE FOR ALL DOGS Every dog is treated as an individual. We regularly and lovingly care for: * Dogs with mild separation anxiety * Rescue dogs and dogs with unknown or difficult histories * Dogs with trauma who need patience and trust-building * Blind and deaf dogs or those with other disabilities * Senior dogs needing gentle, attentive care * High-energy dogs who need exercise, structure, and stimulation * Lap dogs and companion breeds who thrive on closeness and affection * Small and toy breeds needing careful, considerate handling * Large and giant breeds needing space, confidence, and experience * Nervous or timid dogs who need time, patience, and reassurance * Dogs with dietary needs, allergies, or strict feeding routines * Dogs on medication or with ongoing health management needs * First-time boarders who need extra reassurance and settling in * Young dogs who need guidance, boundaries, and stimulation Every dog is welcomed with patience, understanding, and a calm, structured environment where they can relax and feel at home. As a full-time professional with no outside employment, pet care is my career, not a hobby or side job. My time is structured around the dogs in our care, with supervision, enrichment, companionship, and individualized attention throughout their stay in a family home environment. 🏡 WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE Every dog's day is tailored to their individual personality and needs. Mornings begin with outdoor time and a potty break with a chance to explore, followed by breakfast. All dogs are fed separately to ensure each dog safely enjoys their own meal. Throughout the day dogs enjoy supervised enrichment, play, companionship, and rest. High-energy dogs receive stimulation and activity. Sensitive or anxious dogs are given calm structure, routine, and reassurance. Senior dogs receive comfort, rest, and gentle attentive care. Evenings are calm and relaxed. Dogs spend time with our family and sleep safely in our home. We have multiple sleep setups and always aim to match each dog's usual routine wherever possible. 🌳 OUR SPACES AND ENRICHMENT Our home and purpose-built spaces are designed for safety, enrichment, and comfort and are tailored to each dog's individual needs. Every dog has full access to our living room, family room, kitchen, office, and bedrooms, and in addition all dogs have access to: * Sniffari Adventure Zone - 2,000 sq ft secure outdoor enrichment space with scent trails and exploration areas designed to stimulate and satisfy * Doggy Beach House - 400 sq ft interactive play space with toys, paddling pool, and ball pit, perfect for active and playful dogs * Doggy Den Suite - 500 sq ft calm indoor rest space with soft bedding, relaxing music, and a peaceful environment for dogs who need quiet time and comfort * Secure two-door safety system throughout the entire property for complete peace of mind. 🔐 PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS AND SAFETY * 20+ years full-time professional dog care experience * Pet CPR/First Aid certified * Dog Body Language certified - Pet Sitters International * Dog Enrichment trained - EnrichU University * Experienced with anxious, senior, rescue, complex-needs, and medically dependent dogs * Vet-approved hygiene and sanitation practices throughout * Every member of our household has completed United States federal background and identity screening as part of the permanent residency approval process, providing an additional layer of verification beyond standard industry checks. * Written care agreement provided for every stay - giving you complete clarity on exactly what has been agreed and helping protect the interests of both you and your dog. 💬 COMMUNICATION You will receive regular updates so you always know exactly how your dog is settling, what they are doing, and how they are feeling. If anything changes you will hear from us immediately. We believe in honest and open communication. 💚 OUR APPROACH Our focus is not just supervision, it is creating a calm, structured, and loving environment where every dog feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for as part of our family. We do not just look after your dog. We love them and care for them as if they were our own. 📩 BEFORE YOU BOOK Please take a look at our reviews and photos to see dogs happy and settled in our care. We cannot wait to welcome your dog into our home and our family. Feel free to message us, we would love to hear about your dog. Julia - Mary Pawpins Professional Pet Care Services 🎩🐾

Our dog Shasta had a wonderful stay. This was his first time and he had an outstanding weekend. Julia creates an incredible experience for all of the dogs under her care. I highly recommend her home for boarding.

Julia was very professional with establishing a contract for care, holding a meet-and-greet before the boarding and generally being friendly and responsive to our questions. Ringo had a nice boarding experience, looked happy in the photos that Julia sent daily, and bonded with another family member. The cat patio (catio) is an extra feature where he was able to stay outside in a safe space.

I had my dog stay with Julia, and the experience was outstanding. As a senior dog with existing medical conditions, finding someone I trust with his care is incredibly important. When I picked him up, he genuinely looked like he had enjoyed his stay, which was a stark contrast to some of our past experiences. He came home happy, calm, and without pain. Julia's decades of experience really show. She was confident, attentive, and clearly understands how to care for senior dogs with special needs. It was an eye-opening experience having someone with that much experience care for my dog. She also gave lots of helpful advice. I've been quietly looking for the perfect sitter for my dog, and I can confidently recommend Julia without hesitation.

We had a wonderful experience with Julia. She was very attentive and kept our pups active with various activities during their stay. We loved that she shared so many pictures with us. We could tell she really cared about making sure they were comfortable and having fun. Our dogs were relaxed when we picked them up which tells us they enjoyed their time there. We highly recommend Julia and definitely plan to book again!
