About: I have had and loved animals since I was a kid, and even more so as a responsible adult. We have a loud, rambunctious 3 year old hound/border collie mix in our home who loves other dogs and loves to play. (Hounds tend to be the most mouthy breed, and Cooper doesnt disappoint). Hes quite submissive, so he pairs well with most pups. We frequent the dog park, so we have many puppy friend. Consistency is so important for the behavior and health of your dog, so I will happily accommodate your pooches needs to their benefit. I've learned with the way our guests tend to happily (and safely) play with Cooper, that while in my care sometimes there isn't enough energy left for our routine walks. If walks are part of a training regime, please let me know so I can ensure the walks still take place. I do require a meet and greet prior to every booking. This ensures there is a good fit in personalities of pups and myself as your pup's caregiver. I apologize, but because I work from home, I cannot take in habitual barkers, or dogs who are not crate trained. I have had several dogs ranging in sizes my entire life, as well as cats, birds, hamsters, and even hermit crabs. I trained my Retriever myself, and adopted him from a puppy mill rescue when he was 8 weeks old. I have been a reliable petsitter for friends and family for many years, have experience caring for rescued dogs/reactive dogs, and am excited to make more new pet friends! I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I walk my own dog on my lunch break and after work, and would be able to check on/walk yours on a similar timeline! About: I have been known as an animal whisperer because I am good with animals. For example, my friend's pet macaw hates people but became fond of me over time, I'm one of the only few people that she's fine with. I always seem to make animals calm and feel safe. Working with animals makes me feel good. Whenever my grandma needs someone to take care of her dog, she knows she can always rely on me; I brush her, feed her, bathe her and even trim her feet. Keep in mind for new clients: I would prefer at least a week notice so we can have a meet and greet beforehand if you can help it with your schedule. Destiny was lovely! We needed a last-minute daycare (and I mean truly last-minute -- within hours of reaching out) and she was incredibly flexible and eager to fill the need. She reached out with updates at just the right frequency, sent amazing photos, and made sure to follow all of our guidance on Chancho's needs. She is very experienced when it comes to dogs with various needs, including our severe separation anxiety boy, and despite some truly traumatic experiences on Rover, I trusted her immediately. It was obvious Chancho was going to get the same level of care that we provide at home, and I couldn't have asked for more!!!

Sara and her family are so sweet and gave my dogs a lot of attention. She sent me pictures of her kids playing with my dogs and I could tell that they were having a good time. Her home is set up really well for my dogs with the backyard covered patio. My dogs are funny about going out in the rain and it was raining in the morning so her having a covered patio was really good for my dogs. I definitely recommend Sara!!!!
