Keeping doors and gates secured at all times, especially during entry and exit, so there's no risk of an escape. Doing a quick safety scan on arrival — checking that nothing's been knocked over, chewed, or left in a place that could be a hazard, and that food/water bowls are clean and full. Keeping cleaning supplies, medications, and anything toxic out of reach, and letting you know right away if I notice something that could pose a risk (an unlatched cabinet, a chewed cord, etc.). Jourdan was absolutely amazing! Both of our senior dogs, Winston and Oliver, are declining in health, and one of them became quite sick just before we left for vacation. She went above and beyond to make sure our sick dog ate something, taking the extra time, patience, and care he needed instead of simply rushing through the visit. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his well-being. She also followed all of our care instructions carefully and kept us updated with detailed messages and photos after each visit, which meant so much to us. Caring for aging dogs with health issues isn't always easy, but it never seemed to be a problem for Jourdan. She treated Winston and Oliver with kindness, compassion, and so much love. We came home to two happy dogs and knew they had been in the best possible hands. Olivia was fantastic! I received so many pics and some videos of my for babies, it made being away from them a little easier. My animals warmed up to her very quickly and I felt quite comfortable with her taking care of them. I will absolutely be using her in the future!!!
