About: I’ve had many, many pets over the years. Dogs, cats, birds. After our daughters were grown and our last cat passed on we decided to be pet free for a while. While there are advantages to not having animals (being able to leave home without the worry), I miss them and thought this might be a way to fill the pet void. I am retired and so I am free to feed, walk and play with your cats and/or dogs. I look forward to meeting them. About: I love dogs. I've been around them all my life. My ultimate goal is to have a retirement home for rescues and this is the first step. I'm flexible with my availability and have experience with all kinds of pups (no matter the age, they're all pups). I have run half marathons so keeping up if needed is a non issue. About: Lover of animals of all sizes! But most often, you’ll find me happily flattened to the ground by my “house cow” (my 150 lb Newfoundland, Hugo). I’ve had pets and loved animals all my life. In my younger years (before I became middle-aged and appropriately dull), I worked as a firefighter/EMT. Well, I can't say Moose & Squirrel LOVED Avina, they're cats and therefore a little bit weird. I could tell from her photos, though they were realizing Not Me (aka Avina) was giving them canned cat food every day and not scary Stranger Danger. I came home to 2 happy and healthy kitties 😸 😸 and that is the goal! Avina also brought in mail and packages for me, much appreciated!
