“This was our dog’s third stay with Serena and it was for three weeks while we were out of the country. We have complete confidence in Serena’s competent and loving care. She provided daily pictures and updates. Our dog was walked daily and special attention was paid on New Year’s Eve when our pup was fearful of fireworks. Serena goes the extra mile to provide top notch care. Her love for dogs shows in the care she provides.”

“Best ever! We have a special needs dog, a rescue who had been abused and attacked by other dogs and they treated her so well she felt at home from day 1. We are so thankful for everything. We got pictures, she borrowed a jacket when it was cold and rainy and she went on long walks. Best experience ever!”

“Coryn was awesome! She sent me pictures and videos daily. Bella can be a shy girl but she was smiling and happy from the moment I dropped off till the moment I picked up. Coryn was also extremely accommodating with odd drop off and pick up times. I’ll definitely reach back out if I need another sitter for Bella.”

About: Hi, I'm Anna! I am a passionate, highly trained animal lover dedicated to giving your pet the safest and most fun experience possible. Since March, I have been an active volunteer with the Sacramento SPCA, where I have completed intensive online courses and hands-on, in-person training in canine behavior, body language, and socialization. I am fully certified to handle and walk the shelter's Green and Orange color-coded dogs. Because of my training and reliability, the SPCA also trusts me with their Foster Furlough program for their highest-need Pink color-coded dogs. This means I regularly take these advanced-level dogs out of the shelter environment for day trips and overnight stays in my home to give them a break. Whether your dog needs a high-energy walk, structured socialization, or just an attentive and loving overnight companion, I know exactly how to read their body language and keep them safe in real-world situations. I have a very flexible part-time schedule, my own reliable vehicle for check-ins, and a deep commitment to following your exact house rules and routines. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I don’t work so I’m home pretty much all time unless I’m running errands. I’m available Tuesday-sat to come and help out with your babies!! I have a fenced yard but always prefer to watch them while there going potty or playing! I’d also be able to crate them if needed:)

“Reginay watched my dog CeeCee I am definitely coming back again. Reginay kept in communication with me the whole time. She agreed to a meet and greet before she watched her. She is very sweet and professional the first time we met. I picked her before but didnt need her that time . She was very sweet and understanding thats why when i needed a sitter she wss the first person i contacted. About: I grew up on a "farm" with chickens, horses, cats, and dogs and have grown to be a bit of a crazy cat lady. I am the proud mom of five fur babies (three cats, two dogs) as well as four human babies (adults now). I am an boring, responsible professional and I would like to help out other families looking for a responsible pet sitter. I am extremely responsible and organized, and I'm "that mom" that takes care of everyone. My home is tidy and I am crazy about clean. I'm also extremely empathetic regarding animals and their care and comfort is always my highest priority. I know how hard it can be to find a responsible sitter you can trust and feel comfortable with and hopefully I can help other families feel safe and comfortable when they have to be away from their fur-kids. I've had senior pets and pets with medical issues. I have experience with senior animals and animals that need light medical assistance (meds, etc). I work remotely so I'm available most all the time. I occasionally (a few times a week) go into my office but that is flexible. I have my own family at home caring for our animals so they are taken care of. I'll completely honor your requests, and I have experience with senior animals needing special accommodations and/or meds. My moto is "your house, your rules". I will care for your animals like my own (and mine are SUPER spoiled and comfy!) I work a normal nine to five job that is very flexible and I can work from home as needed. During the day I have a very flexible schedule to check in during the day. I definitely believe in caring for your pets however you direct. For drop-ins, I will always try to spend as much time as possible with your pet so they don't get too lonley and so I can note any issues that come up.
“Jalisa was absolutely fantastic! She took such good care of Lilo while I was away. She was very reliable, communicative, and was available on such short notice! Jalisa kept me updated and provided photos that put my mind at ease. Lilo warmed up to her right away, which speaks volumes about her gentle nature. I came home to a happy, healthy kitty and a tidy house. Thank you Jalisa!!!”

“Laura is a natural with my cat Joy. Joy took to her immediately and loved play time. Laura arrived on time and followed directions about closing a crazy door. I was at home because of a health situation when Laura came by. I can't say enough about how comfortable I am with Laura being in my home and caring for my fur baby. Laura, thank you!!!!”

“Davina went above and beyond to care for my pets and keep me updated on how they were doing. She went above and beyond, which eased all of my concerns as a first time Rover user!”

“Taviana was very communicative throughout the entire process. She was very attentive of my cats personality and provided detailed updates and pictures. I appreciated her time checking on my cat and will definitely book with her in the future!”

“Bree was awesome with Lilo! She was very reliable, on time, and followed all my specific instructions. It gave me so much relief knowing my cat was in Bree’s hands. I would absolutely book her again! 🥰 Thank you Bree! 💕”

“Doh took excellent care of my cats including getting emergency medical attention when one fell ill. I have complete trust in her judgment and confidence in her dedication to the cats and my home. She has great attention to detail and communication skills.”

“Jessica was so great with our little Leo and Gizmo kittens while we were out of town! She spent quality time with them on her stays, gave them treats and pets, and was exceptionally responsive. We loved reading her recaps of how each visit went. She even went above and beyond to clean up accidents from our special needs kitten, Leo. Will 110% reach out to Jessica again!”

About: Ive grown up with cats almost my whole life. I would cat-sit for my cousin quite often through out my high-school career and she only trusted me to take care of her kitty's. I have 2 cats of my own and had a family cat that stayed with us for 20 years, so I have experience with senior cats as well!

About: I’ve had cats and kittens since I was little I have bottle fed and raised kittens I’ve rescued. I’ve also rescued a separate litter of feral kittens that grew up to be the most loving babies!!
“Mel is the ONLY person you should trust your pets with. She was prompt and provided constant communication and pictures of my cats. You can tell Mel loves interacting with animals and spent much time making sure my pets had attention while I was gone. I never worried about her taking care of my three cats. They are a little tricky, and Mel had no problems! I would give her an extra star if I could.”

About: I’ve cared for cats for many years, including my own, and understand that every cat has a unique personality and routine. I’m comfortable feeding, refreshing water, scooping litter boxes, administering oral medications if needed, and providing plenty of playtime, affection, or space—whatever your cat prefers. I know how important consistency is, and I’ll follow your care instructions closely while keeping your home clean and secure. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your cat is safe, happy, and well cared for.

“We are a repeat client of Danielle for our senior chiweenie and indoor/outdoor cat. Danielle is always professional and courteous. She is consistent with detailed communication about her services and our pets. Danielle goes above and beyond with her thoughtfulness to our cat’s indoor/outdoor needs and makes good judgment calls (eg. Keeping our cat inside when it’s about to storm). Thanks Danielle for being so fabulous and helping us with our last minute needs over Christmas!”

About: I’m comfortable providing attentive care, keeping up with feeding and potty schedules, giving dogs plenty of attention and playtime, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m responsible, patient, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family member! Pet care will be my part time job that will be apart of my flexible schedule. I will be able to plan my day around the needs of the pets I care for. My clients home will need to be empty so I may be able to focus on the care of your pets. And your pets will need to crated before I come in the door to care for your pet. I will not accept caring for aggressive pets. If there’s extra pets in home that I will not be intended to care for, I ask for them to be put up. Thank you for your cooperation.

About: I am a cat person through and through. I have volunteered at feral cat clinics, I have fostered neonatal kittens, I’ve worked at an national animal welfare organization for the past 20 years, and I’ve had many special needs cats in my lifetime. I promise I will give your cat the same love and care that I would give my own.

“Julie was amazing. My puppy had so much fun and such a good time. We will definitely be back here! I felt safe leaving him here and was sent a picture of him during his stay which was the best to receive!”

“Nelly has been great with our nervous pup Zoey. On the first day, Nelly introduced her gently and gradually to the environment, starting with the backyard and then moving indoors. Zoey was able to explore at her own place rather than being overwhelmed in the situation. Our baby has been less nervous each time we've visited thanks to Nelly's thoughtful care (and her friendly Chihuahua!) and we are so happy with the progress so far. Zoey previously stayed at a kennel but did not fare well at all because of her disposition. Now that we found Nelly, we can actually travel and see family again, with the peace of mind knowing Zoey will be in good hands.”

“Marianne was amazing! She welcomed my two little Shih Tzus into her home and treated them like they were part of the family. I got a few pictures during the day and could see how relaxed my pups were with her. Highly recommend!”

“Anna looked after Simba while I attended a concert, she kept me updated with lots of pictures about what Simba was up to - I didnt have to worry about him! She made sure that Simba had a fun time with lots of love and treats! If you're looking for someone that'll make your pooch feel at home and have some fun while you're away - Anna's the one to choose!!”

“Sammy was great! Took my boy at the last minute and was so good with him, and as an owner of an Akita, she did so well and put us at ease while we enjoyed our music festival. Would highly recommend her and if we are back in Sacramento will definitely reach out to her again”

“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: This experience has taught me responsibility, empathy, and the importance of communication—both with animals and their owners. I take pride in being a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver, always focused on keeping pets happy, healthy, and loved. My schedule is extremely flexible. I can be available seven days a week if needed. Mornings afternoons, and evenings too. I’m here for you and your pet too! Whether pets are in my home or I’m caring for them in a client’s home, my approach is always rooted in safety, comfort, and personalized attention. I treat every pet like my own and make it a priority to understand their specific needs and routines.
“Potato had a great second daycare day at Nelly’s! Potato was less anxious and loved all the cuddle time 🥰 Nelly is so patient with our nervous little guy and is really helping him reframe daycare as positive and stress-free.”

“We have used Susan multiple times for daycare and she is wonderful!! She is a warm and kind person and truly loves dogs. I feel very comfortable leaving Maya with her, knowing Maya will be safe and well taken care of.”

About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently do not have our own pets, but understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.

About: Hi, I’m Zarmene (or Z)! Animal care and behavior are my true passions. Over the years, I’ve learned so much from my own dog and two cats, as well as from rescuing and reuniting dogs with their families. Volunteering at sanctuaries and caring for injured wildlife has only deepened my knowledge. What clients love about me: ~Trustworthy and reliable with both pets and homes. ~Detailed updates with notes, pics/videos, and a solid understanding of animal care and training. ~Patient and consistent, especially with anxious pets—dogs quickly warm up to me! ~Positive reinforcement is my go-to—no shock collars, just communication that works for each pet. ~I believe in tailoring care to each animal’s needs, listening to their cues, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. ~On-leash walks are my specialty, and adventure days are available for an extra fee. Note: If you're more than 5 miles from me, a small mileage charge may apply, depending on the number of visits. Feel free to ask any questions at our Meet & Greet before booking! Currently, I am a freelancer, so I make my own hours, with plenty of time to love your pets, as well as my own senior dog and 2 cats! Pet sitting in your home: ~It will be kept as clean as you left it—and maybe even cleaner, time permitting! ~I ask that is is clean and scent/smoke-free (allergies) when I arrive. ~I ask for a little space in the fridge for my food. Day care or boarding in my home: ~The spare bedroom is a Pet Air BnB! Enough room for pets to play together throughout the home or take their own space in a room. ~A crate/kennel with padding/bed is required, for everyone's safety and comfort. ~There are multiple clean beds for all the fur babies. That said, a boarding pet is most comfortable when they have their own bed or blanket brought with them, which must be flea/pest-free and clean. ~A collar with tags and leash are required. Harnesses are also recommended. ~Due to landlord restrictions, I can't accept pets in my home over 35 lbs or certain "dangerous" breeds (insurance rules, unfortunately). ~I use only non-toxic, natural, and eco-friendly cleaners and pest repellents for the safety of your pets and the environment. Everywhere: ~I stay alert to your pets' social cues, respecting their boundaries and addressing their needs. I provide stimulating opportunities to explore and burn off energy in a safe and respectful manner.
“I dropped off my 7 lb chihuahua, Molly, for a daycare session with Hana yesterday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I’ll admit I was really nervous at first, Molly is tiny, and there were two other dogs there, one of whom was super excited to meet a new friend. So much energy can make Molly hesitant, but Hana immediately stepped in with calm, confident leadership. She set clear boundaries to help everyone settle down, which made me feel so much more comfortable. Throughout the day, she sent me several videos showing Molly relaxed and happy, calmly hanging out with the other dogs and going for a nice walk. By the end of the day, Molly was curled up on the couch with Hana, her husband, and her two new friends, a huge sign of trust from my usually cautious little dog! Hana showed wonderful leadership, genuine care, and constant attention throughout the day. I left feeling completely reassured and grateful to have found someone so capable and kind. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Amazing communication, heard me when I expressed I was afraid. My boy is all I have and they sent me pictures throughout the day and stayed in constant communication. He was happy and well when I got him. I’ve already booked her for several day, overnight, and a 10 day trip I have coming up. HIGHLY recommend. 12/10.”

About: I'm an avid dog person, with knowledge about various breeds, large and small, and how to care for them. I love to hang out with dogs, walk, jog and play! I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I'm available at your dog's need and during any time of day. I grew up with dogs, and have always had a dog in adult life. I don't know what I would do without a dog! I consider myself an active person who spends time in the great outdoors as often as possible. I enjoy doing yoga, riding my bike, weight training, and walking as forms of exercise. During down time, I love to read, cook, and cuddle with my pooch. I look forward to us getting to know each other better!
“Ingrid watched our sweet Ruby last minute so my husband and I can spend the day together. Ruby returned home so happy and bummed to say bye to her new friends. We hope she’ll watch Ruby again.”

About: 🐾 My Pet Care Experience I’ve had a dog by my side for my entire life until recently, so caring for dogs has always been a natural and important part of my life. Over the years, I’ve experienced the day-to-day responsibilities that come with being a dog owner—from feeding and walks to playtime, exercise, grooming, medications, and simply recognizing when a dog needs some extra attention or reassurance. Having dogs for so many years has taught me that every dog has their own personality, habits, and needs. Some are energetic and ready to play, while others are happiest getting some attention and curling up nearby. I’m comfortable adapting to each dog and following the routine their family has established. Most importantly, I understand that leaving your dog with someone else requires trust. I will treat your dog with the same patience, kindness, and care that I’ve given my own dogs throughout my life. My Availability Retirement gives me a very flexible schedule, which means I can devote plenty of time to your dog rather than trying to fit pet care around a full-time job. I’m generally available throughout the week and can often accommodate different schedules and routines. I’m happy to discuss your specific needs and find a schedule that works well for both you and your pup. I also understand that plans can change, so communication is important. If you have a specific schedule or timing requirement, just let me know when you reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate it. My goal is simple: **you enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy, and getting plenty of love and attention.** ❤️🐶 🛡️ Safety, Trust & Environment Your dog’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I take that responsibility seriously. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, leash requirements, crate time, and anything else that helps your dog feel comfortable and secure. I also pay close attention to doors, gates, crates, and other potential escape risks. I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether we’re out for a walk, playing in the backyard, or relaxing at home, I provide attentive and supervised care. If I care for your dog in your home, I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would expect someone to show mine. I’ll keep things clean and secure and leave your home just as I found it. Most importantly, I believe trust is earned. I’ll communicate with you, keep you updated, and make sure you feel confident knowing your dog is in good hands. 🐾❤️

Milagros handles all of Rex's anxieties and redirects when needed. Rex comes home happy and relaxed. Milagros walks Rex 5 days a week while I recover from a broken leg. “Amanda was fantastic! She treated my fur babies like they were her own. She was incredibly accommodating and helpful and professional. I felt completely at ease knowing she would be caring for my pets. She even went above and beyond by allowing me to borrow her doggie stroller for my elderly and blind doggie to use so he wouldn’t feel left out when they went for a walk with my younger dog. I highly recommend her services and I will definitely ask for her services again in the future.”

I want to help you and your dog, and I can promise lots of communication with you and lots of love for your dog.

“Since going back to the office part-time it's been such a relief to have Danielle there for my two big shepherds. She's completely reliable and always keeps me in the loop about her schedule. Top marks!”

About: I have been caring for animals for around 8 years, I have babysat family and friends animals many time before. I always end up being the person taking care of the animals for people. I currently work part-time at a school and have many hours in the afternoon free. So I’m looking for opportunities to fill up my schedule do things I love like animals and also to make some extra money. I always make sure the area the animals are in are safe and the floor is clean to ensure there is nothing the animals can eat on accident, and all unsafe items are available for them to get in to.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life & cannot imagine life without one. My current fur baby is a 4 year old black lab & I’ve learned a lot about dog training over the last 4 years. Dogs need physical and mental stimulation every day & they rely on their humans for everything. Please allow me to love, entertain, & care for your fur babies whenever you are not available. I’m happy to be their second best friend. I’m currently a stay at home mom to 2 humans & 1 Labrador Retriever. I am available weekdays before 3pm with some flexibility 3-5pm. Available for meet & greet Saturday or Sunday. I will take notes on any special instructions or requests you have. Every pet has a different play style & individual needs so I aim to treat each one in a way that makes them (& you) happy.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for many years and truly treat every animal like family. I have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, and senior pets. I’m comfortable with feeding, administering oral medications, walks, playtime, cleaning litter boxes, and providing plenty of love and attention. I also have pets of my own and understand how important it is to have someone dependable caring for them while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule and can provide care before and after work, on weekends, and throughout the day on my remote workdays. I’m happy to accommodate drop-in visits, feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and overnight care when my schedule allows. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pet receives dependable, attentive care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, routines, and any special care needs. I take the time to earn each cat’s trust at their own pace and provide a calm, low-stress environment. I’ll keep your home clean and secure and send regular photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: I am a long-time animal lover, animal advocate, and animal welfare professional. I've had animals all my life, have volunteered for numerous animal groups, and have worked for a national animal welfare organization for the past 20 years. I have fostered neonatal kittens and have had several special-needs cats in my lifetime. I know how to administer sub Q fluids, give insulin injections, trim nails, and more. While I am a cat owner, I love dogs equally and will give your dog the love and care he/she'd receive in your own home. I’d love the opportunity to give you peace of mind that your pet is well cared for while you’re out of town. Thank you for considering me! I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I can accommodate most pet care needs. I am the mom to a teenage son, so I have lots of time on my hands and I’d love to spend my time giving your pet the love and care they deserve. I know a lot of people have specific instructions on how to care for their pet while they’re away, I adhere to all requests and rules, and make sure there’s lots of time for play and snuggles too.
About: I’ve taken care of my family’s dogs for as long as I can remember. I love playing with them, taking care of them, giving them love, and any other care they need. I’m currently a stay at home mom, I just had my first baby a couple months ago who is not yet crawling or walking. So I’m available throughout the week and weekend. I have a fenced yard with space for pets to run around and get some air. I do have a 3 month old kitten but I have a lot of space in my house and if your pet doesn’t get along with cats I am able to section off my kitty to one side of the house during your furry friend’s stay here.

“Rachel is just amazing! She took care of my dog on short notice and kept me in the loop with all of my dog's activities. My usually shy pup really took a liking to her. Thanks a bunch, Rachel, for being so awesome and accommodating.”

“Michelle and Craig were wonderful taking care of our two dogs. Craig was so kind and scheduled an alarm in the middle of the night so that our elderly dog Suzy wouldn’t have to use a pad to relieve herself. What great care they took of our pups! Highly recommended”

Ceecee has very bad speration anxiety and this was my first time leaving her with someone she didnt know. I called and texted a million times she never missed not one call or text and made me feel at easy everytime. My dog also have pancreatitis She have a special diet she followed all food instructions i gave her .. Ceecee was smiling the whole time she was with her and she dont do that with anyone. I couldnt ask for a better sitter. Thank you Reginay 😊.”
