“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received this weekend! From the start, they were communicative, reliable, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. They treated my dog like family, provided updates, and made sure all of their needs were met. It was clear my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my pup!”

“My sweet senior Chihuahua was at ease with Jess from the very first meeting. Jess has a calming nature, which I believe my dog sensed right away. He’s quite comfortable with her already. Communication with Jess is prompt and thorough. I appreciate that she asks questions so that she may provide the best care. She sends photo/video updates giving peace of mind that my dog is happy and well cared for. There are many sitters to choose from on Rover, but I feel I hit the jackpot with Jess!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. I am dedicated to providing my animals the best care and plan to provide the same. I have watched family members pets multiple times. I currently work full time with my days off being Sunday & Monday. I can watch pets any day of the week, but need an understanding that I work full 8 hour shifts and can’t attend to animals on my breaks. I usually work shifts as early as 6 and sometimes as late as 6pm. I dedicate the time in the morning, after work, and before going to bed to take care of my animals and plan to provide the same. I am open to however the owner wishes me to take care of their animals. Every pet owner has different methods of care. The more I know about their routine, the better!
About: I bring dependable, hands-on pet care with experience ranging from energetic puppies to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each animal’s unique personality and needs. I can reinforce basic puppy training, provide gentle care for older pets, administer simple medications, and keep routines consistent to reduce stress. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or quiet companionship, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and right at home while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy it. I plan my days around walks, feeding times, and play sessions, ensuring pets always feel prioritized. I create a safe, loving environment by following each pet’s routine, supervising closely, and respecting home rules. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize comfort, security, and trust.

“My usual long-time dog sitter wasn’t available for this trip, so I was a little nervous about having someone new step in—but Heather immediately put me at ease. She was attentive to all of my requests, reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure my dogs were comfortable and well cared for. I truly appreciated the peace of mind she gave me while traveling. It’s not easy leaving pets behind, but knowing they were in such thoughtful and capable hands made all the difference. I would absolutely recommend Heather and would be happy to have her care for my dogs again!”

About: I have been watching animals since I was young , as somebody who has grown up with cats, dogs, chickens, turtles, parrots etc. I’ve always loved being around animals and have experience caring for pets of all kinds. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and watch their pets. I’m responsible, caring, and will always make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work part-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, check-ins, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company. I love being around animals and am happy to spend as much time with them as needed. I take great care of my own pets and always make sure they are fed, comfortable, safe, and given plenty of attention. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I would treat them the same way while following their normal routine and any instructions their owner provides. I’ll make sure they get plenty of playtime, walks, food, water, and attention while you’re away.

“Lindsey is great! She scheduled a meet and greet and I felt she would get along well with our dogs. I hired her to do drop in visits for my puppy so she is isn't in her crate for long periods. I love Lindsey's updates and she seen sends pictures so I know how my dogs are doing during the day. I've never used Rover before and am very happy I found it, and Lindsey.”

“Johanna is the BEST!! This was our first time using Rover and she made the entire experience so easy and comforting knowing our fur baby was being spoiled!! Thank you Johanna for treating our boy like your own and making our experience so easy!!”

“We are a military family so we've moved a ton and feel like we've had about a billion Rovers. McKenzie is hands down, bar-none the best one we have ever had. It was the first trip where I feel like I could really relax because she was taking such good care of them. The time and effort she took with pictures and messages made me feel like she really got to know our dogs, too. It wasn't just a job - she really cared. So thankful for her and we will absolutely be using her services again!”

“Lindsey was AMAZING! I get extremely bad anxiety letting anyone watch my dog (even close friends) and she put my mind completely at ease. My pup was incredibly happy when I got home and I could tell she had such a good day. I cannot thank you enough ?”

About: Hi there! I am experienced in elder, special needs, and brachycephalic dog care as I have previously worked in a veterinary hospital environment as an animal care attendant (kennel care, dog walking, and boarding basically). I have experience with administering dog and cat medications both oral and topical, bathing, cleaning up, walking, feeding, and giving lots of love to ensure they have a fun and enriching time. I absolutely love taking time to gain trust and bond with dogs that may be grumpy or shy! I work now as a pet memorial paw print artist and paint unique prints for pet owners of their loved ones. Message me to see if we can make a schedule together! I have a 8:00-5:00 weekday job that I am not able to do Rover during, but for holidays I usually can do check-ins/overnights as I have those days off from work. I would be able to specify anything over text and see what works best! I am unable to care for your pet in my home, but am more than willing to be able to stop by and care for your pet in the comfort of their own home! All instructions will be followed respectfully for you, your home, and your pets. I make sure any potty accidents are cleaned up nicely and toys that get pulled out to play with are put away neatly before I leave. I am 100% okay with being monitored during all and any interactions within your home!

Bianca gave my hubby and I so much "peace of mind" while we were away from our little bunnies. She is extremely thorough and truly gave us a 5 star experience ✨️ I had a lot of tasks and she handled them amazingly! It was so nice seeing pictures of them that displayed how happy they were while we were gone. I definitely recommend Bianca to anyone who's looking for a wonderful pet sitter!

McKenzie did a great job taking care of our 15 year old cat! McKenzie was very responsive and easy to communicate with and she provided many pictures each day along with written details about how her daily visit went. We really appreciate everything McKenzie did to care for our pet while we were away. We would definitely ask McKenzie to care for our pet again! Thank you McKenzie!

Madeline was an amazing sitter for our two cats! She was reliable, communicative, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. One of our cats requires medication, and she handled that with care and confidence, which gave us great peace of mind. She also went above and beyond by spending time outside with our cats so they could safely enjoy their courtyard time—something they really love. It meant so much to know they were getting that extra attention while we were away. We had two very happy, well-cared-for kitties. I would absolutely book Madeline again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful sitter!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our cat sitter Caitlin and couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. She did drop‑in visits for over a week and was incredibly easy to communicate with from start to finish. She truly went above and beyond in every way. After each visit, she sent many photos of our cat, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She also left detailed, thoughtful updates every day, explaining exactly what she did during the visit and how our cat was doing overall. It was clear she genuinely cared and paid close attention to our cat’s needs and well‑being. Knowing our cat was in such capable, attentive, and loving hands made our time away completely stress‑free. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and exceptional sitter. We would absolutely book with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
