What sets me apart is that I’ve lived with both cats and dogs my entire life, so caring for animals feels completely natural to me. Growing up and living with pets has given me a strong understanding of their behavior, personalities, and needs. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and temperaments, from energetic young dogs that need lots of activity to older pets who prefer slower, more relaxed walks. I also volunteered at a cat shelter in college and regularly pet sit for friends and family, so I’m very experienced in reading animal body language and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine and personality so they get the type of care that works best for them. Above all, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I focus on safety, patience, and clear communication, and I love sending updates and photos so owners know their pet is happy and well cared for.

Madeline was an amazing sitter for our two cats! She was reliable, communicative, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. One of our cats requires medication, and she handled that with care and confidence, which gave us great peace of mind. She also went above and beyond by spending time outside with our cats so they could safely enjoy their courtyard time—something they really love. It meant so much to know they were getting that extra attention while we were away. We had two very happy, well-cared-for kitties. I would absolutely book Madeline again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful sitter!

Madeleine did an excellent job watching our two cats, Bill and Shadow, while we were on vacation in Hawaii. She kept us updated with pictures of our kitties, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We felt completely confident leaving them in her care and could tell they were very loved and well looked after. She is reliable, organized, communicative, and genuinely caring toward animals. We truly appreciated the care and attention she gave our pets and will absolutely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend!

Madeline did a great job helping with our pets. She was very communicative and sent pictures throughout her time with our two dogs. Madeline has taken care of my pets (a hyper border collie and silly cat) multiple times while I am out of town. She has always been incredibly communicative, attentive and caring for my girls. Schedule
I work a consistent 9–5 schedule during the week, which allows me to offer dependable evening care and weekend availability. Most of my drop-in visits are scheduled after 5:30 PM on weekdays, and I have more flexibility on Saturdays and Sundays. If you’re looking for extended care or multiple daily visits, I’m happy to discuss options in advance to see if we’re a good fit. I prioritize clear communication and reliable scheduling, so you’ll always know exactly when your pet will be cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I plan my evenings and weekends around my commitments. I’m intentional about the clients I take so I can provide attentive, unrushed visits and quality time with your pets.

I currently provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes through drop-in visits, as I believe most pets feel happiest and most relaxed staying in their familiar environment. During each visit, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. This typically includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box for cats, taking dogs out for potty breaks or short walks, administering medication if needed, and spending quality time with your pet based on their personality — whether that’s interactive play, brushing, cuddles, or simply calm companionship. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels and will communicate updates after every visit with photos and notes so you feel completely at ease while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine consistent, reduce stress, and ensure your home is respected and cared for while you’re gone.
A typical day
I love making visits something pets genuinely look forward to! For dogs, this might include neighborhood walks, playtime with their favorite toys, practicing simple commands, or getting outside for fresh air and exercise. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with wand toys or lasers, brushing, enrichment games, and relaxing together if they enjoy cuddles or calm companionship. I tailor every visit to your pet’s personality and energy level so they feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet loves lots of activity or prefers a slower, cozy visit, I’m happy to meet them where they are. You can also expect plenty of updates! I send photos and notes after each visit so you can see the fun your pet is having and feel confident they’re in great hands.
