“My wife and I are grateful to Barbara for dropping in on our cats on short notice. In addition to being accommodating, her pictures made it clear that she was very attentive to our cats during her visits.”

“Michelle was excellent and quick to respond to my last minute check in request. She spent quality time with my two doggos. Definitely would recommend and will be booking again!”

About: I grew up on a ranch with all kinds of animals, so I’ve taken care of every size from quail to horses. I started watching other people’s animals when I was 13, from feeding friends 4H projects to staying at a house with someone’s dog. I’m currently working part time, just graduated from Sacramento State, and am currently looking for a nursing program. I typically have evenings free and a couple hours in the morning depending on my schedule for the week. I’m very flexible and willing to work around or with anything! My work schedule does come out weekly so I cannot guarantee that I will be available at the same time every week and my shifts vary in length, anywhere from 4-8 hours. I don’t offer care in my own home currently as I live in an apartment. But I’m more than willing to watch them in your home to help them stay in their routine!
“Lauren took wonderful care of my 3 1/2 month old GSD puppy that can be a handful (typical puppy). She followed my training requests, sent photos, handled her with patience, and left everything in my home as it was. Thank you, Lauren!!”
“Rachel did a great job checking in on my new shelter dog adoption. My dog recently was spayed and in her cone and required some extra care. Rachel did a great job of letting Rio out of her crate and gave her some free cone time. In addition to this, Rachel is always on time and gives a great report of how things went. She is prompt, professional, and I have really appreciated her help with our new fur baby. Thank you, Rachel!”

About: As a dedicated pet owner and animal lover, I have experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. My household includes two small dogs and a friendly cat, giving me hands-on experience with a variety of personalities, routines, and care needs. I am comfortable administering medications, following special feeding instructions, supporting pets with sensitive diets, and reinforcing established routines. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply companionship, my goal is to provide attentive, reliable care that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I offer boarding, drop-in visits, and dog walking services for both dogs and cats. For boarding, I welcome small dogs (under 20lbs) to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all pets in my home. Because I work from home, boarding pets receive frequent supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day and are rarely left alone. We also live near a park, providing a great setting for walks, exercise, and outdoor enrichment. During drop-in visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box cleaning, medication administration, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. My cat is exceptionally friendly and social, and my two dogs are accustomed to living peacefully with cats and respecting their space. I carefully supervise introductions and always prioritize the comfort and safety of every pet in my care. To provide the highest level of personalized attention, I accept only one client household at a time across all services. Whether your pet is staying in my home or receiving visits in yours, they will receive individualized care, close supervision, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I am available for up to two drop-in visits per day, and pet parents can expect regular updates and photos for added peace of mind. As a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. Every pet is treated like family, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Because I work from home full time, caring for pets naturally fits into my day and is something I genuinely look forward to. I love starting the morning with a walk, taking midday breaks to check in and play, and ending the evening with a visit or stroll. Having this flexibility means I can give pets the attention and consistency they deserve while making sure they feel happy and loved throughout the day. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own home by following their normal routines and keeping their environment clean and secure. I always check that doors and gates are locked, refresh food and water, scoop litter or let pups out as needed, and spend quality time giving attention, play, or cuddles based on what each pet enjoys most. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel at ease knowing their pets are happy and cared for while they’re away.

“Jenny was absolutely wonderful, and I couldn't have asked for a better first experience using Rover. From the beginning, she was professional, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. She asked great questions about my pets and their routines, including things I hadn't even thought to mention, which gave me a lot of confidence that they were in good hands. What stood out most was how genuinely caring she is with animals. I happened to arrive home a little early on the last day and got to see her interacting with my pets. It was immediately obvious how much my dog adored her, and that meant the world to me. Seeing that bond firsthand gave me complete peace of mind that my pets had been loved and cared for while I was away. Jenny was everything I could have hoped for in a pet sitter: reliable, professional, attentive, and truly compassionate. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pets.”

We loved having Isabella watch our 2 cats while we were away!!! Her communication is great, she also came in in advance to us leaving to meet the cats and to see how to run their automatic litter boxes etc which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Am definitely booking her again! :)

Samantha was absolutely amazing 💖. This was both of our first time using Rover. She was so attentive to my pets and made me feel so comfortable going on vacation. I truly felt as if she treated my fur babies like her own. She also sent me pictures regularly which made me smile every time and at ease knowing they were being well taken care of. She even bought more food for them since my animals ate more than expected. I will definitely be using her again in the future. Best decision I made for the care of my pets 💖🐕🐈⬛💖

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
