About: I recently moved back here after having spent the last 5 years in Los Angeles. I was emotionally & mentally exhausted from working a 9-5 within such a large city. I missed my animals, the sound of nature & the outdoors. I would love to care for your pets as they enrich my life so much, and I would love to enrich theirs! A LITTLE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE: Animals have been apart of my life since I could remember: I grew up on a farm! 9 acres of land, filled with horses, chickens, cats, dogs, rats & a free roaming tortoise! The main animal I was surrounded by was cats. We had anywhere from 6-13 at a time! This was mainly due to the litter of kittens my mom, sister & I would foster for months at a time. Our primary focus was bottle baby kittens. I always say, I am a dog mom, but a cat person! Both are extremely near and dear to my heart. I’m also very athletic, so if you have a high energy dog, I don’t mind taking them for a run, dog park, hike etc. MY PETS: My dog’s name is Saint & he is my entire world. I adopted him from a rescue in Riverside, CA only a year and a half ago. He was an aggressive, scared dog who needed constant love and patience to gain his trust. Now, he is an energetic, loving, hilarious boy! Our favorite activities were hikes & playing fetch. Fun fact: he looks identical to 🐕 Saint has taught me how to care for temperamental dogs through positive reassurance as well as the importance of a dynamic, safe environment. About: I’ve been a dog sitter for a few families in the SoCal area before moving to Folsom. I’m comfortable caring for any aged dog and am more than happy to walk or take care of them overnight:) I’m currently getting my Bachelors at Sacramento State and have a part time job, however my schedule is fairly flexible:) We’re on spring break and I have some extra time to help out some families with their fur babies. I understand my responsibilities when I enter someone’s property and I treat everything as I would my own. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I have taken care of family members dogs, newborn pups, potty trained, taken care of senior dogs who need assistance with getting on and off the couch or give them their meds. I have previously dogsat/housesat for about 2 1/2 weeks. I work from home so I am able to relocate where needed. I have time early mornings or afternoon/evenings. I am available weekends and holidays. I make sure dogs are taking naps when needed, so if they are crate trained I make sure after play time or walking they get naps. In my home and clients home we follow a schedule for feeding and potty breaks. Usually enjoy going for walks during lunch time and evenings. During weekends tend to go to the park or for longer walks.
