Pet care experience
Retired- love taking care of pets!
I have been caring for pets since I was a child. I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I’ve also been involved in wildlife rehab rehabilitation. I am also a disaster service worker doing animal rescue during fires. I’ve always had pets in my home but recently lost my cat this year and my dog last year. I’m taking a break from having pets right now as the loss is still too new. Taking care of other people’s pets gives me a chance to have my animal fix :)

Debbie was very wonderful caring for my lab and 3 foster dogs. 4 dogs with different needs can be difficult but it didn’t phase Debbie. She gave meds and even bathed my dog with allergies several times. She was great at doing anything that made the dogs comfortable. Debbie was communicative with updates. My dogs were relaxed when I got home. It felt like they had a vacation too! Will definitely hire Debbie again.

Deborah did a great job in watching our dog Snowflake while we were gone for 2 weeks and she kept us updated and sent photos while we were on vacation.
From the moment we met Debbie we knew our pets would be well taken care of while we were away. We have a senior dog and senior cat who both need medication. Debbie was comfortable with both pills and injections. She communicated regularly and sent photos of our pets. Debbie asked questions when something came up (example: our dog didn’t eat one day.) having Debbie take care of our pets was the next best thing to being home with them. I would recommend Debbie to everyone and will reach out to her again if we need a pet sitter. Thank you, Debbie!
Deborah was fantastic! We trusted all of our dogs and cats with her for in-home visits while we were away for a week. They were all cared for and each got special love and attention. We also got tons of pictures! We will for sure be contacting her again!

Schedule
I am currently retired so I have a lot of time on my hands. I love all types of animals and would love to fill my days with meeting new ones.

I have a fully fenced yard, Dog doors. I’m a retired state employee with 30+ years of of work experience. I’m very reliable and trustworthy.
A typical day
I love to walk so dogs would have at least one daily early walk. My back yard is large and we will spend as much time out there as possible.
