I approach pet care as a way to support others, not just as a service. I’m not here to overcharge—I simply enjoy being someone dependable and trustworthy that neighbors can count on. I’ve been working with a few local families and recently joined Rover 🐾 Check out my photos section!! Local, reliable helping hand for pet sitting, babysitting, caregiving, and event help. I work for a property management company so I have a flexible schedule and love helping neighbors whenever they need an extra hand. My work is mostly from my laptop or phone so what works for you works for me! When caring for clients’ homes and pets, I always make sure everything is how it was left and treat it with care and intention. I respect that someone’s home and pets are very personal to them, so I make sure things stay clean, organized, and comfortable while they’re away. My goal is for you to come back to a happy pet and a home that feels just the way you left it. Whether it’s overnight care or a simple walk in the day I’m here to help out!

About: I have trained my doodle, after she came from a family with having no prior training. While also growing up with my 10 year old golden retrier. I am a college student and I have class everyday besies the weekend and thursday, I have classes in the morning but after 12 I am free. I have trained my 3 year old golden doodle named ruby and grew up with my 10 year old golden retriever named cooper who sheds a lot.

“Lauren did a fabulous job taking care of our chocolate Labrador over several days this last week! We came home to a happy dog and everything looked great in our home upon our return. She sent detailed updates about her visits, including photos and video, and gave our pup lots of love and exercise everyday (even in inclement weather!) Her communication skills are top-notch, and her care and love for animals is evident. We look forward to having Lauren take care of our dog in the near future ~ we recommend Lauren highly and we are lucky to have found her!”

About: I have always loved animals since I was little and have had various furry friends throughout my life. I have cared for dogs from miniature Poodles to German Shepherds; each animal has their own unique personality and I look forward to meeting them all. I have embraced retirement, so I have lots of time to spend with your furry family. From walking your neighborhood, exploring various trails, or just play time at the park or home, I will give your pet the love and attention I would my own pets. I currently have two cats, who are indoor only. They are played with daily, although half the time they just sleep in the sun. My current home project is to build them a catio so they can sleep there too.

About: I am a retired Dental Assistant and very active! We have ALWAYS had dogs. I have 3 grown children and each one had a beautiful Golden Retriever. I believe there is much to be learned from loving and caring for a pet. My My 6 grandchildren have pets also ! love to travel and have a long bucket list! I spend my free with family and large circle of friends. I truly do give my all and I can't think of a more satisfying way to earn a little extra income than pet & housesitting! About: I have over 8 years of experience working with animals and more than 3 years of hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant in small animal hospitals. Through both professional and personal experience, I’ve cared for pets of different breeds, personalities, ages, and medical needs. What sets me apart is my understanding of animal behavior and health. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets, anxious pets, high-energy dogs, and pets requiring medications or extra monitoring. Because of my veterinary background, I’m also able to recognize early signs of stress or illness and communicate concerns quickly with owners if needed. I genuinely enjoy building trust with animals and making them feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. Since I spend much of my time studying from home outside of work, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, companionship, exercise, and supervision during visits. I currently work Monday through Wednesday from 8 AM to 6 PM, so on those days I’m available for walks, drop-ins, pet sitting after work hours. Outside of that schedule, I’m mostly home studying, which allows me to provide lots of attention and supervision. From Thursday through Sunday I have a very flexible schedule and can usually provide care throughout the day. Your pet will rarely be left alone for long periods, and I love spending time walking, playing, cuddling, and keeping pets mentally and physically engaged. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have experience working as a veterinary assistant in animal hospitals, so I’m comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, anxious dogs, and pets with medical needs or medications. I have a good understanding of animal behavior and can recognize early signs of stress or illness quickly. I provide a calm, clean, and supervised environment with plenty of affection, enrichment, and rest.

About: I love all animals and I’m home all day and will treat your dog like my own. Walks, treats, potty breaks, whatever is needed to make your dog comfortable I will do it. I grew up doing 4-H and with Australian Shepherds and love animals of all kinds. I can also sit for small pets too like bunnies or chickens. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m usually around to watch your dog. If it fits into my schedule I will help you with your dog. I love all dogs and animals. I have a pet friendly very large fenced yard and one small dog. I can crate your dog if you prefer, or let them run in the yard or be in the house. I can walk your dog, watch your dog during the day or overnight. I can also give lots of potty breaks if needed. We treat dogs like family.

About: Hello! My name is Alida and I am a 19-year-old college student home for summer break. Dogs and cats have always been beloved members of my family. I have experience taking care of pets of all sizes and ages, including elderly animals with disabilities. I currently have two dogs and one cat (pictured on my profile🩷). One of my childhood dogs had diabetes, so I am comfortable administering medication if needed. I have tons of availability this summer and am eager to meet your furry family member(s)! I am a college student home for summer break. I currently do not have a job other than petsitting so my schedule is very flexible. I have availability almost every day of the week and accept short-notice bookings. Whether I'm petsitting or checking in, I am always able to provide frequent bathroom breaks, daily exercise, and all the play time your pet could ask for. About: I have always been lucky enough to have a dog growing up. I have looked after my neighbors pets multiple times as well. I am very comfortable around all types. As for cats I have never personally taken care of any but I do volunteer at the shelter that has both cats and dogs. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them and treat them as if they were my own. I have one family dog named Charles. He is a Lagotto Romagnolo and he truly is my bestfriend. I am interning at an accounting firm and I work Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 to 5 pm. I am free to pet sit these days too after 5. Since I sit at a desk all day, I have a lot of energy leftover and love going on walks and playing with my dog in the evening. Hopefully in the future yours too!! I currently have a dog and he is a big part of my life. I love exercising and everyone I do cardio he joins me for my walks. He loves playing fetch so I am used to that. I also just love a pets affection and love. I constantly walk my dog, take him to the dog park (even though all he does is sit in the shade), I feed him every night and give him infinite kisses!

About: I've had a large dog since the age of 2, at one point I had two dogs and have consistently taken care of friends dogs as well as my grandparents 4 dogs in addition to my own. I am a consistent dog sitter and am expanding my services to rover after using referrals and the Nextdoor app previously I am available all day on weekends and work a relatively flexible schedule weekdays. I am gone from 8-3 but make sure to spend as much time with your animals as possible so they don’t miss you too much! I will care for my client’s pets in their home by staying in my designated area as well as making sure to complete each task they ask of me. I don't mind feeding your fish or watering your plants either!

About: I grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats always in the house. I deeply enjoy volunteering to walk and care for animals. I am a runner and can have dogs accompany me easily! During the school year I frequently walk dogs at the Portland Dog Rescue association up in Oregon. I have worked at the CSD in the recreational sports section , where I practiced time management, along with people/pet management. Overall, I love animals and am an extremely active person! My schedule is very flexible, I can accommodate any time or request. I'm free everyday day from 7am-10pm for walks and check-ins. I'm willing to work earlier or later upon request! I walk my own dog at least once a day for about an hour or so. I clean the litter box with diligence and love to give animals baths when they get dirty (bathing is needed most of the time after a trip to the dog park). At night I love to cuddle with my kitties and watch a movie.

About: Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been surrounded by animals! My next-door neighbor would trust me for weeks at a time to take care of her old cat, and I would always take care of my pets when my parents weren’t home. Over the past year and a half, I worked at a local veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I’ve decided to take on pet-sitting full time while I finish college with my career goal being a veterinarian! I also own a leopard gecko, giving me experience handling exotic reptiles! I truly enjoy every part of pet care - walking, feeding, playing, light grooming, and of course tons of love and attention!
