Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I’ve been pet sitting on Rover for over 2 years! I’ve had experience with all different kinds of pets — mostly dogs, cats, and birds — and am willing to care for any kind of animal! Many pets I meet quickly warm up to me, and if they don’t, I always make sure not to push their boundaries so they will feel safe and comfortable each time I visit. I love learning about proper pet care and each pet’s unique needs, so I’ll be sure to give your pet the best care they can have!

Schedule
Pet sitting is my main job, which means I am available most days and times to look after your pets, just be sure to check the calendar for my availability! I’m available most days between 8 AM and 10 PM, except for Thursdays from 1 PM to 3 PM.

I’m a very patient person, so no matter how rowdy or loud your pet can be, I’ll be sure to care for them at their own pace. I’ll also be sure to fully learn about your pet’s specific needs and personality so I can always provide the best care I can!

A typical day
I’m very open to doing any of your pets’ favorite activities, whether that be fetch, tug of war, playing with cat toys, or just cuddling! I try my best to monitor every pet’s cues to determine what activity would be best for them at the time. And when it comes to walks, I try to vary my routes every walk, so your dog always has some new scents and scenery to enjoy!
