About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.

“Had a last minute trip and needed to find someone to watch my dog. None of my friend's were available, so I had to use someone on Rover. I was very nervous, as I hadn't used Rover before. My dog is very important to me and it was unsettling to leave him with a stranger. However, the stay with Kate worked out really well. She was flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process. From scheduling our initial visit, to drop off, to pickup. Flexible drop off and pick up times are huge and are one of the biggest hassles when dealing with a kennel. About: I've had a large dog since the age of 2, at one point I had two dogs and have consistently taken care of friends dogs as well as my grandparents 4 dogs in addition to my own. I am a consistent dog sitter and am expanding my services to rover after using referrals and the Nextdoor app previously I am available all day on weekends and work a relatively flexible schedule weekdays. I am gone from 8-3 but make sure to spend as much time with your animals as possible so they don’t miss you too much! They are very communicative and reliable and make sure they understand your dog’s personality and care needs so they can make it a comfortable and positive stay. We had a meet and greet with their dog Rufus prior to setting up daycare and Bodhi and Rufus play very well together. They always send a Rover card documenting how the day went with photos and potty breaks. They even go above and beyond and give Bodhi mental enrichment with puzzles and healthy treats. My dog suffers from separation anxiety, and Nancy took extra care to give her plenty of lap time. I received lots of great updates, photos and videos. About: I grew up with Afghan hounds, so dogs have been a part of my life forever. We adopted our first rescue, Jazzy, in 2015. We have adopted adult cats and kittens. About: I've had two dogs of my own as an adult, grew up with family dogs, and regularly do walks and drop-ins for my neighbor's dog. Both of my boys were brachycephalic breeds, so I understand how much care that takes — I'm especially attentive to heat sensitivity, breathing, and pacing during walks, and I know how to read a dog's signals and adjust accordingly. I've taken several dog training classes, read several books on positive dog training, and understand a dog's body language and signals. I've also cared for both senior and sick dogs, including my English bulldog who lived to 12 and my Frenchie that I supported through IVDD and surgery. I'm currently between jobs at the moment, and both my kids are in school. I'm generally open from 9am to 4pm for drop-ins and walks. About: We always had dogs in my family. Growing up our Dog was a family member in fact definitely mom‘s favourite child! My wife and I have been married almost 40 years and dogs have been our children. We both love dogs and having recently lost our own girl of 14 years so we have a lot of love to give I understand what it takes to intrust your beloved pet to someone, I would treat any pet in my care like it was my own child!! With lots and lots of love there’s a huge park we could walk to right down the street from our house which is private in our village we love taking our puppies down there to socialise and or just walk. There’s also 2 miles worth of walking trails in our community. Well first off we give them lots and lots of love!! We’ve always had dogs that are allowed on the furniture and sleep on our bed however we will follow the directions of its owner. We like to take them for walks and play with them and keep them mentally active as well as physically. We would always walk them on a leash and take great care when they are around any other kind of animals or people. Basically, we would treat them with the greatest care like we would our own child! And of course give them lots and lots of love.

About: I have always been lucky enough to have a dog growing up. I have looked after my neighbors pets multiple times as well. I am very comfortable around all types. As for cats I have never personally taken care of any but I do volunteer at the shelter that has both cats and dogs. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them and treat them as if they were my own. I have one family dog named Charles. He is a Lagotto Romagnolo and he truly is my bestfriend. I am interning at an accounting firm and I work Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 to 5 pm. I am free to pet sit these days too after 5. About: Hi there! My name is Marisa and here’s a little bit to know about me..I was raised on a large property with many pets, from furry to scaly. As I’ve grown up and raised my children we have always had animals in our home as well. I have fostered many species over the years- from tube feeding puppies to bottle baby kittens, birds, reptiles and small animals. I love animals if you can’t tell! There aren’t many domestic species that I haven’t gotten my fair share of experience with- and I am always eager to learn more about a new species I come across. We have 3 dogs (one having a cleft palate), and a cat of our own and I know how it feels to struggle to find someone you trust to care for your home, your animals and their many quirks. Nothing makes a trip away better than knowing your pets are fed and happy and your house isn’t a giant mess waiting for you to get home. The only thing I cannot offer my clients is to stay overnight in their home. If you think I might be a good fit for your little furry family members please feel free to reach out! I am a stay at home mom of 3, my routine starts early here as everyone is ready to eat breakfast by 630am- so I am pretty open! I have a fully fenced yard with a securely fenced pool and a dog door for indoor/outdoor access at all times. Fresh water is always available, Everyone is fed 2x a day, unless otherwise requested more or less. Walks are on request only, and playtime is always! We will treat your furry family members like one of our own❤️
About: I've had a large dog since the age of 2, at one point I had two dogs and have consistently taken care of friends dogs as well as my grandparents 4 dogs in addition to my own. I am a consistent dog sitter and am expanding my services to rover after using referrals and the Nextdoor app previously I am available all day on weekends and work a relatively flexible schedule weekdays. I am gone from 8-3 but make sure to spend as much time with your animals as possible so they don’t miss you too much! I will care for my client’s pets in their home by staying in my designated area as well as making sure to complete each task they ask of me. I don't mind feeding your fish or watering your plants either!

About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.

About: I've been helping care for friends' and family's dogs since I was 10 years old. Because I've always loved dogs and hoped to have one of my own someday, I've spent a lot of time learning about dog care, behavior, training, and enrichment. I've worked with puppies frequently in the past and am comfortable with the extra patience, supervision, and consistency they require. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or sticking to a specific routine, I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care fits great into my routine. I have a flexible schedule, and I'm available throughout most weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and playtime and I always make sure to follow each pet's routine as closely as possible. While I do have some weekend commitments and can't do late nights, I have an otherwise open schedule. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive the attention they need. When caring for puppies, I'm especially attentive to potty breaks, supervision, and maintaining any training routines. I'll also make keep the owners updated throughout the day.

“Had a last minute trip and needed to find someone to watch my dog. None of my friend's were available, so I had to use someone on Rover. I was very nervous, as I hadn't used Rover before. My dog is very important to me and it was unsettling to leave him with a stranger. However, the stay with Kate worked out really well. She was flexible and accommodating throughout the entire process. From scheduling our initial visit, to drop off, to pickup. Flexible drop off and pick up times are huge and are one of the biggest hassles when dealing with a kennel. She was nice enough to assemble and disassemble his crate for me, which was a nice surprise, given how hectic traveling can be. I look forward to future bookings with Kate.”
