About: I absolutely love dogs and consider them part of the family, I am basically home 24/7 to care for your fur babies. I will watch small, non aggressive, potty trained dogs up to 35 lbs. I have 2 non aggressive 30lb French Bulldogs ages 3 and 8. I am a retired Fire battalion Chief and was also a paramedic for 25 years. I can accept longer vacation dates on a case by case basis as I also travel and need to book around my schedule. I spend time loving the pups in my care & playing fetch in my large yard. I also have a dog door for dogs to access yard. Your pups become my pups when left in my care. I don’t crate dogs unless requested. I request up to date vaccination records & that dogs are clean & flea free. Annual bordetella vaccine to prevent kennel cough is mandatory. All pups eat separately to keep dogs from eating another dog’s food & to prevent food aggression. Dogs are never left alone outside in my large fenced yard which is also locked for safety. I don’t accept aggressive dogs or those with food aggression. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. Meet and greets are always welcome and appreciated. Can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I’m basically home 24/7 and I let the fur babies move about the house freely. They can cuddle with me on the couch if I’m watching tv or play with me outside. I have a large fenced yard with a small turf area. Dogs are not left unattended. As I mentioned before, I will play with your pups and treat them like my own. I also have two sets of stairs for your fur baby to access the couch or bed (different size steps) or I lift them as well. I have 3 different types of dog strollers for morning/evening walks if your fur baby isn’t a walker (like one of my frenchies).

About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.

About: Im so excited to be working for you! What a treat to be able to love on your beautiful babies! I enjoy pet sitting so much because just like people, animals have their own personalities and it’s really neat for me to discover them in all the little fur friends I get to meet. I am good natured and loving and your pet will notice that right off the bat. I’m caring and compassionate and you won’t have to worry about your babies while I am there. I enjoy overnight stays because I know it’s important for them to be “at home”. It’s easy for me to feel at home wherever I go! I have a kitty and he stays home and is very content with that. He is a super friendly 15 lb MainCoon that has a very sweet personality. He’s always up for belly rubs. He does not accompany me on any of my stays or visits. I have several families that aren’t on rover that I just love so much. So their reviews aren’t on here. But if you need references, please let me know. I’m grateful for the opportunity to hang out with your fur family and know that you can rest easy knowing they are in good hands, I am open to visits and check ins or even long weekends or vacations. It would be great to come to you. Take a vacation and relax knowing your home and sweet babies are being lovingly cared for. Unfortunately I am unable to board any pets at this time. About: I’m a part-time working mom looking to fill my free hours doing what I love! I have my own special needs dog (cleft palate), and have fostered dogs previously, one with spina bifida. I’ve been raised with cats and dogs my entire life, as well as birds and small critters as a child! I’ve always cared for neighbors’ dogs and cats, as well ad housesat, and spent a lot of my childhood shadowing and spending time with my cousin who was a veterinarian. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of free time throughout the week to come check on and spend time with your doggos! My schedule does change and fluctuate, but I can typically work around and with it. I don’t care for pets in my home, but when I care for them in yours, I will always treat them as my own while following all of your rules and guidelines. About: I've had a large dog since the age of 2, at one point I had two dogs and have consistently taken care of friends dogs as well as my grandparents 4 dogs in addition to my own. I am a consistent dog sitter and am expanding my services to rover after using referrals and the Nextdoor app previously I am available all day on weekends and work a relatively flexible schedule weekdays. I am gone from 8-3 but make sure to spend as much time with your animals as possible so they don’t miss you too much! About: Over 30 years of pet care experience! I’m the type of person that stops by the side of the road to save a lost animal. My dog is a swimmer, not a walker! I work from home, but have a very flexible schedule. Definitely looking for a morning walker and am open for home drop ins otherwise. Safety is key, it is summer right now so pets should be indoors most the day. Early morning or late evening walks are best. Check the ground temperature and do not walk your dogs when its hot!

About: Before you read further I would like to be up front I have only had two previous pet sitting gigs and various pet walking gigs that combined equal a bit less than a year but I’m still learning and want to try my hardest. Each person is unique and so is are their furry friends so I’m prepared to learn what works best for you and your pet. Though I may have little experience with pet sitting as a job I grew up with dogs of all sizes from a Siberian husky wolf mix to a tiny chihuahua. And of course I can’t forget about my current companions Bella my cat and Chaos my bearded dragon. No matter what animal I am more than willing to learn and adapt to you and your pets needs. Im a college student, so my schedule is a bit odd. On Mondays and Wednesday I’m available from 6-9am depending and 2pm-7am for house sitting, walks and drop ins. On Tuesday’s and Thursdays I am available any time after 3pm. However during weekends and holidays I will be available 24 hours. I have two pets of my own a bearded dragon and a cat, I have been around various pets my entire life from dogs to birds. I currently have two pets a cat and a reptile both of which have a feeding schedule, my cat free roams the house and has various toys to keep her busy and my bearded dragon is allowed ample time out of his enclosure to hang out and chill with me.
About: I’m a part-time working mom looking to fill my free hours doing what I love! I have my own special needs dog (cleft palate), and have fostered dogs previously, one with spina bifida. I’ve been raised with cats and dogs my entire life, as well as birds and small critters as a child! I’ve always cared for neighbors’ dogs and cats, as well ad housesat, and spent a lot of my childhood shadowing and spending time with my cousin who was a veterinarian. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of free time throughout the week to come check on and spend time with your doggos! My schedule does change and fluctuate, but I can typically work around and with it. I don’t care for pets in my home, but when I care for them in yours, I will always treat them as my own while following all of your rules and guidelines. I know how important that is to me when someone watches my special needs dogs, so I will always respect and follow any and all instructions!
About: I have trained my doodle, after she came from a family with having no prior training. While also growing up with my 10 year old golden retrier. I am a college student and I have class everyday besies the weekend and thursday, I have classes in the morning but after 12 I am free. I have trained my 3 year old golden doodle named ruby and grew up with my 10 year old golden retriever named cooper who sheds a lot.

About: Hii there!! I’ve have taken care of many animals my whole life, In 2021 I started working at a boarding facility that loves and accepts fur baby’s of all kinds of personality’s! I love the pups and kitties that are happy to be loved and given attention but am aways ready for a crazy love bug or nervous pup/ a kitty that just needs space or might have spice (I don’t do at home cat boarding). If needed I can provide Nail clipping and grind for dogs! also clips for cats, bunny’s, guinea pig’s, and bearded dragons. My best interest is always your fur baby’s comfort and to not to stress him/her out, I have learned over the years body language of pups and kitties and when what’s going on is to much “how to read the room” I’ve cared for many puppies (preferably when vaccinated) And have dealt with many crazy puppies! I’ve cared for lots of older pups as well, if they need extra care I will always be sure to give them that and the love they need. If your older pup or younger pup needs medication I have been trained on giving medication in food/ treat, pilling, and injections. About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.

Ringo had a nice boarding experience, looked happy in the photos that Julia sent daily, and bonded with another family member. The cat patio (catio) is an extra feature where he was able to stay outside in a safe space.”
