“My dog stayed with Shannon for a week, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. Shannon was friendly, responsive, and provided daily photo and video updates, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. Shannon was also very accommodating with the pick-up time which I really appreciated. I think my dog enjoyed his little own "vacation" too!”

“George was very happy in Amy&Justin care. We received frequent and positive updates about his stay. There were very flexible and easy to communicate with us. We are very satisfied and would recommend!”

“Ruchi and Nitin are absolutely amazing! They took care of our two boys for an entire week, and I couldn’t have asked for better sitters. Every single day, I received photos and videos without even having to ask. You can truly feel their love for animals in everything they do. Ruchi even went the extra mile and cooked rice for our picky eater, Hulu, which got him to finally finish his kibble. It honestly felt like a vacation for our dogs. They got along wonderfully with Ruchi and Nitin’s pups, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in caring hands. We even got a fun ChatGPT cartoon of one of our dogs during the stay. Their rates are also reasonable. Highly recommend this kind, thoughtful couple to anyone looking for trustworthy pet sitters.”

“I'm glad I found Michael and Patricia. Josie felt at ease with them right away so it made me feel good about leaving her with them. They are a wonderful couple who really care about dogs. I rarely go out of town, but if I ever need a sitter for Josie in the future, they'd be the ones I'd book a stay with.”

“Barbara and family was very kind and welcoming to my dog. She asked all the questions that made me feel like my girl was going to be well taken care of even to the extent of switching her sleeping habits to my dog’s. I highly recommend! Thank you so much for taking care of my girl!”

“Maisy was amazing!!! She sent lots of updates and pictures while we were away. When we picked Tilly up she was happy and well fed. We truly appreciate Maisy as it is hard to leave our fur baby. She was extremely well cared for and loved. Thank you!!! We will be back! 💕”

“Debbie is the best!! We recently lost our long time dog sitter and were anxious about leaving our senior dog with GI issues and anxiety with someone new while we left town for a few days with limited cell service. Lila didn’t even want to come home when we picked her up!! She was very comfortable with Lila’s needs, sent us updates and was flexible on pickup time. I’ve used a lot of dog sitters in my time and she is one of the best!! So competent, communicative and a true animal lover. Thank you Debbie!!”
About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.
“Sharon and Henry took such great care of our dogs while we were on vacation. Our dogs get pretty depressed when we leave them. Sharon and Henry did everything they could to help our dogs feel comfortable and they communicated with us eveny day while we were away. We really appreciated the daily check ins and pictures. We will definitely book Sharon and Henry again!”
About: I've been helping care for friends' and family's dogs since I was 10 years old. Because I've always loved dogs and hoped to have one of my own someday, I've spent a lot of time learning about dog care, behavior, training, and enrichment. I've worked with puppies frequently in the past and am comfortable with the extra patience, supervision, and consistency they require. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or sticking to a specific routine, I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care fits great into my routine. I have a flexible schedule, and I'm available throughout most weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and playtime and I always make sure to follow each pet's routine as closely as possible. While I do have some weekend commitments and can't do late nights, I have an otherwise open schedule. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive the attention they need. When caring for puppies, I'm especially attentive to potty breaks, supervision, and maintaining any training routines. I'll also make keep the owners updated throughout the day.
“Sixuan was incredibly attentive, following all of my feeding instructions to the letter, taking Andi on regular walks, and ensuring she had her potty breaks every three hours or so. Coming home to find Andi looking so happy relaxed and healthy gave me total peace of mind. She sent regular pictures with updates about her welfare . I gladly give Sixuan 5 stars for her excellent service and cannot recommend Sixuan highly enough! She did an absolutely wonderful job looking after my fur-baby!”

“Amber watched my dog Squid for two nights. Squid has bad separation anxiety and struggles being away from home. Amber was fantastic and our dog seemed to love staying at her place. We’ll definitely be booking again.”

“Alyssa F. was great as a dog sitter. We hired her to care for our 15-year-old dog, Dusty, from November 1 to 5, 2025. She provided excellent service. Alyssa communicated well, sending us updates and photos of Dusty as requested, as he explored her gardens and relaxed. The pictures showed that Dusty was comfortable and happy with her. We will definitely book her again in the future! Thank you, Alyssa!”

“Melissa was the perfect person to take care of our Sara. She had a great time with Melissa’s pups and family. She kept us informed on how Sara was doing each day. This was great for us as it was Sara’s first boarding experience. We know Sara had a blast!! Melissa thank you for welcoming Sara, Rich and I. We enjoyed you and meeting your family!! Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

“It was our first time dropping our dog off at someone else’s house and we were nervous about how he would do. Kate seems knowledgeable about how to help new dogs transition into a new environment with other dogs and turned out my pup had a great time. He has separation anxiety and when I picked him up he had happy energy rather than anxious. We will definitely rebook in the future”

“Another stay at Walee for our Mosel. This time when we brought Mosel home she was sad and missed Walee and her family. After a few days and she was back to normal. Now we know we have found Mosels second family, and have no worries when we have to leave her behind. Thank you Walee we will be back.”
About: I have been actively taking care of pets my whole life. I love animals and treat them like my own children. I have a 10 year old daughter who is on her way to become a vet and wife who loves pets just as much! I work from home and can accommodate your schedule at anytime needed. I would be happy to make sure that your pet has the best experience. I have a fully fenced yard on a quiet street. I allow pets to use any furniture they would like to make themselves a home

“Patti & Joe are absolutely wonderful pet sitters! This is the first time I’ve used Rover, and it worked out perfectly. I didn’t worry about my little Pomeranian Pedro the entire time he was with them! I highly recommend Patti!”

Words can't describe how amazing this family is! They treat your dog like their own and go above and beyond to make you and your pup feel comfortable. Their kids are adorable and are so sweet with dogs. Our little pup didn't want to leave. Highly recommend! If I could give more stars I would!

Super clean house, amazing yard and neighborhood, and best of all, a paragon of experience! I trust Maisy with all dogs. My dog is a little fussy sometimes, and she was this sea of calm and managed mine and her group of dogs so well. Please choose Maisy!!! My dog is very reserved but he did a bunch of zoomies after daycare, including running back to her house, he just had a splendid day and really felt safe and comfortable all day. Maisy is amazing. Thank you!!!

Richie and Nitin had my Border Collie for a week and did a great job. We had a nice meet and greet with Ollie and their dogs. As a very active breed, they made sure they walked him 1 to 2x per day and played with him. When I picked him up, he was well rested, happy, and I will definitely bring him back.

Evy and Wayne were kind and loving, taking excellent care of our 1 yo Shih Tzu Obie. They followed his requested feeding and walking schedule and sent lots of pictures and updates. Obie was safe, loved and well cared for. We look forward to having him stay with them again!!

Anadee was absolutely top notch with our senior chocolate lab, Guinness. He’s an old man and definitely a lot of work at this stage, but Anadee handled him with patience, care, and genuine kindness. Our kids loved having Guinness around during the stay and really enjoyed Anadee as well, which says a lot. She was also fantastic with our poodle, Lena — Lena was great with “the old man,” and Anadee made sure both dogs were comfortable and happy together. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!
