“Rachel has been our go-to dog walker when my husband and I work long 12 hour shifts. She is always on time, takes lots of pictures, and goes out of her way to make my pups feel safe & loved. We love Rachel!”

About: I’ve lived with pets since I was a little kid! I love animals of all kinds, and do my utmost to keep them happy and healthy. I have mainly experience with most types of cats, and smaller dogs. I'm currently off college for the summer, so pretty much any time should work with some notice! I have others at home to take care of my animals if I'm on an extended stay, so I can stay as long as needed. I do all I can to keep your pets happy and safe, I've looked after animals most of my life, so I believe I have some experience! I’ll ensure to follow any guidance you give, and give them plenty of love and care.
About: Hi! My name is Auva, and I have been a petsitter for four years. I have also spent the last five years part-time nannying, tutoring, and gardening, all which have made me even more patient and compassionate. I am very attentive and want you to feel your pets are in good hands, and I strive to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible while you can't be with them. I love walking and am always happier with a furry friend as a companion. I am flexible and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and some who needed a little extra effort (post-surgery, shy, aggressive, etc). I am a university student home on summer break. My schedule is fairly open and pet care fits in very easily, alongside my part-time research position which is hybrid online/in-person. I often walk, whether or not I am petsitting, so making sure potty breaks, playtime, and walks happen is no problem for me! I care for pets in client homes, and with years of experience in overnight child and pet care, I know how to respectfully visit your home. I either come and go or stay overnight based on what you prefer and what makes you most comfortable. I also love keeping owners updated with texts/pictures/videos if they want!
“Deanna has watched our dogs multiple times now and everytime we are very happy! She sends daily videos on her 30 minute drop in visits to feed when we are out of town. I trust her completely in our home when we are gone! I highly recommend her to anyone who needs their furry friends watched.”

“Cole was great, communicative and sent lots of cute photos. My cat is skittish but he was very patient and she opened up quickly. I felt super relaxed knowing she was well taken care of!”

“Lauren was so amazing and kind! She makes sure to follow your pet’s cues. I will absolutely book her again! She helped me out with a last minute booking in an unusual situation. She was so understanding and non judgmental. I’m so grateful to have found her. She went above and beyond.”

About: Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always been surrounded by animals! My next-door neighbor would trust me for weeks at a time to take care of her old cat, and I would always take care of my pets when my parents weren’t home. Over the past year and a half, I worked at a local veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant! I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I’ve decided to take on pet-sitting full time while I finish college with my career goal being a veterinarian! I also own a leopard gecko, giving me experience handling exotic reptiles! Whether your pets need frequent potty breaks, walks, play-dates, or any sort of medication, I’m your gal! Your pet’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority! I’m currently unemployed, and about to finish my college semester- giving me of the time in the world to work with you and your pets! My availability will always be flexible and I will be attentive to any of your needs. I live with one (soon to be two) dogs! My current dog is very sweet and sociable- she loves to make new friends! I’m used to taking big and small dogs on walks, and am more than willing to take your pet on a playdate with mine! I can crate your animal, prepare special meals, and clean up after them if they’re used to going potty in your backyard! Same thing applies to cats and their litter-boxes! I will always be sure to make sure your pets are comfortable while you’re away.
About: I have always loved animals since I was little and have had various furry friends throughout my life. I have cared for dogs from miniature Poodles to German Shepherds; each animal has their own unique personality and I look forward to meeting them all. I have embraced retirement, so I have lots of time to spend with your furry family. From walking your neighborhood, exploring various trails, or just play time at the park or home, I will give your pet the love and attention I would my own pets. I currently have two cats, who are indoor only. They are played with daily, although half the time they just sleep in the sun. My current home project is to build them a catio so they can sleep there too. July 2026 added two more cats and another cat tower. 😊
“Kayla has watched Zephyr a couple of times and did an amazing job! I am so thankful to have someone I trust with my dog when I can’t be home. She follows all routines and is very caring!”

“Barbara was amazing while we were gone for a long weekend. She updated us with pictures of all four of our cats at visits and she was always easy to talk to - kind & warm! She also made sure our senior cat got his transdermal meds every night, which was a big concern of ours!! Thank you for also cleaning up kitty messes during visits Barbara! (Especially the 'exploded' catnip banana! 😱) We felt so at ease knowing she was taking care of our kitto's; we would absolutely book again!”

“Justin is easy to work with and a great communicator. We appreciated that he got back to us right away to confirm his availability and provided twice daily updates on our dogs. We won’t hesitate to recommend him to our friends and neighbors. Thanks Justin!”

About: I have been watching animals since I was young , as somebody who has grown up with cats, dogs, chickens, turtles, parrots etc. I’ve always loved being around animals and have experience caring for pets of all kinds. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and watch their pets. I’m responsible, caring, and will always make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work part-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, check-ins, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company. I love being around animals and am happy to spend as much time with them as needed. I take great care of my own pets and always make sure they are fed, comfortable, safe, and given plenty of attention. When caring for pets in someone else’s home, I would treat them the same way while following their normal routine and any instructions their owner provides. I’ll make sure they get plenty of playtime, walks, food, water, and attention while you’re away.

I am currently working part-time, which gives me the flexibility to offer pet care earlier in the day. I have plenty of time for morning and afternoon walks or play sessions, and I am fully available for boarding on weekends. This schedule ensures your pets get the attention and exercise they need while you are busy. I provide a secure environment with a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize safety by following strict routines, offering crate training if needed, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free space where every animal feels comfortable and protected.
“Ruth took excellent care of our 3 kitties! I love that she was very thorough and took the time to let us know in detail everything she did with each visit. Although our kitties are very shy and hid under the bed when she came over, she still made sure to check on them and snap a pic so we could see their glowing eyes under the bed. ? We would definitely recommend Ruth and will be happy to have her care for our kitties again. ?”

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience and a genuine bond with dogs. While I haven’t worked as a professional dog sitter before, I’ve been caring for dogs since I was seven years old. I’m now 32, and throughout my life, I’ve had a Maltese, an English Setter, and a Gordon Setter. My setters were hunting dogs, so I’m comfortable with energetic, intelligent breeds that need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I’ve trained them in basic obedience, manners, and recall, and I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and clear boundaries. I’ve cared for both small and large dogs, and I’m experienced with feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. I can also teach simple commands and fun tricks like sit, stay, lie down, roll over, spin, and shake. I am a Spanish woman who moved to Folsom with my husband a year ago. I am a great animal lover and I have had dogs since I was little. In my childhood, I lived with two setters: an English setter and a Gordon setter, and a Maltese bichon. This has given me experience with both large and small dogs. Now, although we cannot have one of our own, I would love to care for others, as I greatly enjoy their company. My daily routine is flexible, and I have full availability to adapt to the needs of clients and their pets. I fully adapt to each pet’s needs. I am very attentive and will always ensure the dog has food, water, and is comfortable. If I notice something is wrong, I address it immediately. I handle walks carefully, avoiding direct sun, and if bathing is needed, I do so with experience, using proper shampoos and conditioners, especially for long coats. I can also brush them. If a vet visit is required, I will take care of it. Additionally, I love playing with dogs and making sure they feel calm and happy when their owners are away. In short, I handle all the care a dog needs with attention and affection.
“Kyla was amazing! She and our dog, Riley, got along really well. She was very attentive to Riley’s needs and was very quick to update us with any news! We would highly recommend her to anyone in the area. 10/10 would recommend”

I’m currently in college classes so I have several hours throughout the day to drop in, take walks and I am able to stay overnight. My pets are very well cared for and very much part of our family. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
