“Lauren was amazing and Mr. Kitty was instantly comfortable with her. She was very detailed, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure our house and Kitty were well looked after. Will definitely be rebooking. Thank you once again for everything, Lauren!”

“Irina sent news and pictures every day. When I arrived, the cat's room was clean and the water pots full and clean (in my last experience with another professional I found exactly the opposite when I arrived).”

“Justin is easy to work with and a great communicator. We appreciated that he got back to us right away to confirm his availability and provided twice daily updates on our dogs. We won’t hesitate to recommend him to our friends and neighbors. Thanks Justin!”

“Elaine’s care of our sweet two young kitties was truly wonderful. We received the most thoughtful lovely updates regularly with photos. She brushed and cuddled them and even cleaned them before we picked them up. I felt totally at peace and happy to have my precious two in her care. I am so grateful I found her and we will be back soon!”

“Stephanie was a wonderful sitter. She was very reliable, communicated with us with updates, and made sure all of our kitty’s special needs were met. She made our vacation very relaxing because we knew our cat was well taken care of. We will definitely use Stephanie for our future pet sitting needs!”
“Ruth took excellent care of our 3 kitties! I love that she was very thorough and took the time to let us know in detail everything she did with each visit. Although our kitties are very shy and hid under the bed when she came over, she still made sure to check on them and snap a pic so we could see their glowing eyes under the bed. ? We would definitely recommend Ruth and will be happy to have her care for our kitties again. ?”

Petcare fits into my daily life as I have a variety of animals at home. I currently feed dogs, cats, goats, cows, and horses in the mornings and nights. I also work at a pet store where I advise people on toys, treats, foods, training, minor veterinary care, etc. on a partime basis. I am happy to provide playtime, meals, walks, medications, attention, and affection as needed. Let me your know your pets needs and I will take care of them to the very best of my abilities!
About: I am a middle-school English teacher in El Dorado County! I am looking for opportunities to earn some extra money on the side, and after a long and exhausting day at school, I’d love to decompress and give your fur babies all of my love and attention. Aside from having the qualities of a teacher of teenagers, I am a very responsible and patient person running on a consistently empty social battery with many evenings and weekends coming up to spend with your furry/scale-y/feathery loved ones!! I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, personalities, and medical needs. My experience with other miscellaneous pets is little, but I am open to figuring it out! I have been a pet-sitter on Rover for a very long time, but have been on and off with availability due to moving and career shifts, explaining the gaps in my Rover resume. I have some future dates blocked out for fall and winter, but please message me with any inquiries that land around these dates so that we can figure something out! I am a full-time teacher in El Dorado, commuting from my apartment in Cameron Park. I am typically at work from 8am-4pm, but have flexibility in being able to leave a bit earlier if necessary. I work remotely on most Fridays, but can’t guarantee that I won’t be pulled in for a half-day of meetings and PD. Weekends and afternoons are completely free, if given enough time in advance to rearrange any plans previously made. I am extra careful to check on gates and door/window locks. I am used to skid-dish animals that attempt prison breaks! My approach to house environment is to replicate as much normalcy to the pet as possible.
About: I have professionally worked with dogs for 7+ years from training, boarding, and rescuing. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and behaviors and have always had all types of animals in my home. If your dog is reactive or your senior cat would prefer to be fed and left alone, I am willing to accommodate to the needs of every animal. If asked of, I also am confident in pet grooming and returning your pup clean. I would like to clearly state as well I am in no way a licensed vet technician or dog groomer, however I do have plenty of experience in bathing and I can promise your bestfriend will be returned in great conditions! I have a fairly flexible schedule as a student- I try and spend the majority of house sitting stays in the home with your animals. Please reach out with dates and times, and we can work together to arrange a preferred schedule for your pet! I have quite a few clients from outside of rover and can provide additional references upon request. I am unable to providing boarding for your pet at the time, but am available for any size of walks, grooming, and of course in house check ups or hangouts.

“Jessica did an amazing job watching our cats while we were out of the country. She gave them lots of love and kept an open line of communication so we always knew they were doing well. I also appreciated all of the pictures and detailed updates! I’d highly recommend her as a pet sitter to anyone.”

“Candace was an awesome petsitter for our two kitties, Evie & Jaffy! She was very attentive to all the details of their care that I had requested. Her love of animals was readily apparent when she meet our kitties for the first time. Daily updates and photos were appreciated while we were on vacation, and gave us peace of mind. Candace also watched over our home, watering house plants and monitoring a few items with the pool. We were very pleased with all the care Candace provided and we would highly recommend her to anyone.”
About: Im so excited to be working for you! What a treat to be able to love on your beautiful babies! I enjoy pet sitting so much because just like people, animals have their own personalities and it’s really neat for me to discover them in all the little fur friends I get to meet. I am good natured and loving and your pet will notice that right off the bat. I’m caring and compassionate and you won’t have to worry about your babies while I am there. I enjoy overnight stays because I know it’s important for them to be “at home”. It’s easy for me to feel at home wherever I go! I have a kitty and he stays home and is very content with that. He is a super friendly 15 lb MainCoon that has a very sweet personality. He’s always up for belly rubs. He does not accompany me on any of my stays or visits. I have several families that aren’t on rover that I just love so much. So their reviews aren’t on here. But if you need references, please let me know. I’m grateful for the opportunity to hang out with your fur family and know that you can rest easy knowing they are in good hands, I am open to visits and check ins or even long weekends or vacations. It would be great to come to you. Take a vacation and relax knowing your home and sweet babies are being lovingly cared for. Unfortunately I am unable to board any pets at this time. I don’t have the needed space to accommodate them. Thank you so very much!

Jessica has been taking care of our two cats now for several years. Can't recommend Jessica highly enough, extremely reliable and always professional. I imagine the cats are a little disappointed when it's us getting home rather than Jessica visiting. Thank you!
