About: I absolutely love dogs and consider them part of the family, I am basically home 24/7 to care for your fur babies. I will watch small, non aggressive, potty trained dogs up to 35 lbs. I have 2 non aggressive 30lb French Bulldogs ages 3 and 8. I am a retired Fire battalion Chief and was also a paramedic for 25 years. I can accept longer vacation dates on a case by case basis as I also travel and need to book around my schedule. I spend time loving the pups in my care & playing fetch in my large yard. I also have a dog door for dogs to access yard. Your pups become my pups when left in my care. I don’t crate dogs unless requested. I request up to date vaccination records & that dogs are clean & flea free. Annual bordetella vaccine to prevent kennel cough is mandatory. All pups eat separately to keep dogs from eating another dog’s food & to prevent food aggression. Dogs are never left alone outside in my large fenced yard which is also locked for safety. I don’t accept aggressive dogs or those with food aggression. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. Meet and greets are always welcome and appreciated. Can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I’m basically home 24/7 and I let the fur babies move about the house freely. They can cuddle with me on the couch if I’m watching tv or play with me outside. I have a large fenced yard with a small turf area. Dogs are not left unattended. As I mentioned before, I will play with your pups and treat them like my own. I also have two sets of stairs for your fur baby to access the couch or bed (different size steps) or I lift them as well. I have 3 different types of dog strollers for morning/evening walks if your fur baby isn’t a walker (like one of my frenchies).

About: Hello, I'm Mia and I am located in Cameron Park. I can't wait to meet your dog, cat or other pet. I have had dogs and cats my whole life and other pets too! I have done basic care, grooming and training. I am certified in veterinary assisting and have taken the online Fear Free Shelters course which taught me about how to help animals feel more comfortable. I've also done volunteer work at the animal shelter which included lots of dog walking and care. I have experience with other animals as well like my own chickens, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, and neighbors' goats and horses. I know it can be scary to leave pets with a stranger, but I will treat yours with love and care just like I treat my own. My schedule/routine can be pretty open for pet sitting depending on the day. I can do basic drop-ins, dog walks or a longer overnight stay. I am pretty quiet and calm and have been told I have a calming effect on animals. I will take good care of them and give them the attention they need. I can also do other basic duties like getting the mail, taking out the trash, etc. I'm vigilant about locking doors etc. to make sure everything stays safe. I try to keep things running as smoothly as possible while you're away and leave things tidy when I leave.

We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. “Sixuan was incredibly attentive, following all of my feeding instructions to the letter, taking Andi on regular walks, and ensuring she had her potty breaks every three hours or so. Coming home to find Andi looking so happy relaxed and healthy gave me total peace of mind. She sent regular pictures with updates about her welfare . I gladly give Sixuan 5 stars for her excellent service and cannot recommend Sixuan highly enough! She did an absolutely wonderful job looking after my fur-baby!”

Kate seems knowledgeable about how to help new dogs transition into a new environment with other dogs and turned out my pup had a great time.
