About: Over 30 years of pet care experience! I’m the type of person that stops by the side of the road to save a lost animal. My dog is a swimmer, not a walker! I work from home, but have a very flexible schedule. Definitely looking for a morning walker and am open for home drop ins otherwise. Safety is key, it is summer right now so pets should be indoors most the day. Early morning or late evening walks are best. Check the ground temperature and do not walk your dogs when its hot!

About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years or so by myself. Growing up my parents watched dogs for friends and family every so often. We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. I tend to get up early on work days but a night owl on the weekends. I enjoy getting out on the weekends like going on walks with hikes. I currently do not have fenced in hard but I do have a large grass area right outside my house that is dog friendly and is great for playtime and even doggie pool time.

I have done basic care, grooming and training. I am certified in veterinary assisting and have taken the online Fear Free Shelters course which taught me about how to help animals feel more comfortable. I've also done volunteer work at the animal shelter which included lots of dog walking and care. I have experience with other animals as well like my own chickens, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, and neighbors' goats and horses. I know it can be scary to leave pets with a stranger, but I will treat yours with love and care just like I treat my own. My schedule/routine can be pretty open for pet sitting depending on the day. I can do basic drop-ins, dog walks or a longer overnight stay. I am pretty quiet and calm and have been told I have a calming effect on animals. I will take good care of them and give them the attention they need. I can also do other basic duties like getting the mail, taking out the trash, etc. I'm vigilant about locking doors etc. to make sure everything stays safe. I try to keep things running as smoothly as possible while you're away and leave things tidy when I leave.

I am actively involved with several pet rescue organizations and would feed my dogs before I would eat I am retired so I'm available pretty much anytime you need me. If you need someone to take your fur baby for a walk or to drop in and say hi and play with them for a while I'm your guy I have 2 dogs 1 pug and 1 chi-weenie they have a fenced in area that is also covered to keep them out of the sun and rain

About: Over 30 years of pet care experience! I’m the type of person that stops by the side of the road to save a lost animal. My dog is a swimmer, not a walker! I work from home, but have a very flexible schedule. Definitely looking for a morning walker and am open for home drop ins otherwise. Safety is key, it is summer right now so pets should be indoors most the day. Early morning or late evening walks are best. Check the ground temperature and do not walk your dogs when its hot!

About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.
