“Elaine, treated Cruz like one of her own. She gave her lots of love and attention. Cruz had such a great time with her and her pups that she didn’t want to leave each day, and was ecstatic going back each morning. Elaine provided us with great pics and detailed updates. So thankful to know that Cruz had a wonderful week of daycare with her!!”

“Alexa provided such a wonderful Rover experience. She's a great communicator, very attuned to a pet's care instructions, and I came back to find my pup so relaxed and happy with her. I wouldn't hesitate to book again with her, thank you Alexa!”

“Gary really enjoyed his stay with Sharon, Henry, and Rufus! I really appreciated how thoughtful they were with communication. I felt like they really love dogs and welcomed Gary into their home. We will be back 😊”

About: Hey there! My name is Sarah, thanks for visiting my page! I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and livestock since I was around 13. Neighbors, relatives and friends employed me to feed, walk, and provide special care to their pets when needed. I love all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for cats (: I can’t wait to meet your pets! Fun fact about me, I love science and I have a bachelor’s degree in biology and a masters of health science in orthotics and prosthetics. For boarding in clients homes, my husband Elijah accompanies me. I am in between job so my schedule is very flexible. I am highly active, and I have lots of energy for walks, adventures, and hanging out! (: I respect all clients homes by keeping them clean, caring for their animals as instructed, and fulfilling any extra tasks such as watering plants and checking mail.
“Honey had a great time staying with Evy & Yiwei. I received the cutest photos of Honey with their dog Ace and timely updates. Highly recommend for your Folsom doggie needs!”

“Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

“Brittni is a great dog sitter! She is responsive, very responsible, and did a great job with my two dogs!! They had never been around a horse, chickens, or a cow before, but Brittni introduced them to these new animals--a great socialization experience for my dogs! They loved chasing balls on her land, running and smelling the fresh air, and of course playing with her own dog. She sent photos and videos and I loved seeing them when I was at work knowing they were having a great time. I will definitely use Brittni again. Thanks for giving my dogs a wonderful new life experience Brittni!”

“Robert is fabulous!! I came to the area for a one month contract job. While driving across country, my 15 year old Chihuahua was grabbed by a big dog and was injured. Dixie could barely walk and had to go to two ERs along the way for care. Being under contract I HAD to start working and couldn't leave her alone or with other pets. I found Robert who happens to be between dogs. He was perfect. Cared for her with her unique needs of having to be picked up and even gave her the medicine she needed during the day. I got reassuring pics and was so relieved to find such a loving place to leave my "special needs" pup. Thank God for Rover and for Robert!”

About: I love cats and dogs and will make sure they get lots of attention and that their area is kept clean and tidy so you come home to a nice place! I have 4 cats and 2 dogs so very familiar with what to do. Happy to take care of yours or take your pups on a nice walk😊 I work from my phone so can essentially do anything or be anywhere as needed. Works out perfectly for me to go and take care of pets! I will make sure your pets have attention and that their area and the house or apartment is well taken care of and kept clean
“Candace is an expert as a dog sitter. It is the first time for Haru to be with daycare. Haru does enjoy his stay, had lots of fun with candance’s two dogs. Also enjoy reading. Haru is very happy at the end,he does not even want to leave when I picked up him. Candace did a good job :)”

About: I have been around animals growing up and would love to help you take care of yours! I am friendly responsible and outgoing and love being outside... So walks and going to the dog park are things I would like to do. My husband and I have a german shepard mix. He is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs! Growing up I had a brown lab that required a lot of attention and time:). I know how important it is for dogs to get their exercise and care! I am a stay at home Mom, so I have plenty of time to care for your pup! We have a fenced yard and a large crate that the dogs can be in if needed while not home. I have two young kids that also love animals. We love the outdoors and would love to have your pet join us. The safety and care for your pup is very important. I will make sure to stick to your plan/schedule. We do not allow our dog on the couch or bed, so I would like to keep this a rule in the home.
About: Im so excited to be working for you! What a treat to be able to love on your beautiful babies! I enjoy pet sitting so much because just like people, animals have their own personalities and it’s really neat for me to discover them in all the little fur friends I get to meet. I am good natured and loving and your pet will notice that right off the bat. I’m caring and compassionate and you won’t have to worry about your babies while I am there. I enjoy overnight stays because I know it’s important for them to be “at home”. It’s easy for me to feel at home wherever I go! I have a kitty and he stays home and is very content with that. He is a super friendly 15 lb MainCoon that has a very sweet personality. He’s always up for belly rubs. He does not accompany me on any of my stays or visits. I have several families that aren’t on rover that I just love so much. So their reviews aren’t on here. But if you need references, please let me know. I’m grateful for the opportunity to hang out with your fur family and know that you can rest easy knowing they are in good hands, I am open to visits and check ins or even long weekends or vacations. It would be great to come to you. Take a vacation and relax knowing your home and sweet babies are being lovingly cared for. Unfortunately I am unable to board any pets at this time. I don’t have the needed space to accommodate them. Thank you so very much!
Skinners dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had Hailey watch our 10-month-old German Shepherd, and I can’t say enough good things about her! She kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and videos, so we always knew our dog was in great hands. Not only was Hailey super communicative, but she was also incredibly flexible with our schedule, which made the whole process much easier. It was so reassuring to know that our dog was not only safe but also having an amazing time. Hailey gave our girl lots of attention and playtime, and we could tell she really enjoyed herself!

Another great day at Irina's daycare for my dog and peace of mind for me as I enjoyed a family outing in Historic Downtown Folsom. There are so many great vacation outing options in the area and many are dog friendly. For those that are not, I'm delighted to know my dog will find friends and get great care at Irina's. I will definitely reserve her pet care services, when I return to visit family.
