“Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. I’ve always had a special connection with animals and a passion for caring for them. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and more. I currently have two Dobermans and a kitty of my own. I recently moved to a 2 acre property, which has been amazing for training and working with my dogs, they’re truly thriving with the space and lifestyle they deserve. To me, pets are family, and I always strive to give them the best care, attention, and love possible. I’ve also rescued and fostered kittens in need, helping them find safe and loving forever homes. Caring for animals genuinely brings me happiness, and having them in my life has always been incredibly fulfilling. I currently work part time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to your pets. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I already care for my own animals every day. At my home, pets have access to a large, secure fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise. I also have spacious fenced in kennels available if needed for safety, rest time, or individual comfort. Pets are always supervised, given plenty of attention, and cared for in a clean, calm environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their routines, instructions, and house rules to help pets feel comfortable and stress free in their familiar environment. I like to check in with pet parents often, sending pictures and updates to give them peace of mind while their pets are in my care.

About: Growing up, I always had a dog. In addition to the traditional Golden, I also loved exotic pets. Some friends from my childhood will still occasionally ask me, "what kind of weird pet do you have these days?" My husband and I were adventurous before settling down and starting our family so we decided not to jump into pet ownership until more recently. Now after having kids, we want to make sure that we are all fully ready to jump back into the long term commitment of pet ownership. In the meantime though, I have a lot of love to share and I would adore hosting your pet. My home is in town but offers nearly a half acre of fenced in yard space. I am happy to keep your pet indoors, outdoors, or a mix. Whatever you and your pet prefer, I can accommodate. I work from home and can give your pet lots of attention throughout the day. They are very communicative and reliable and make sure they understand your dog’s personality and care needs so they can make it a comfortable and positive stay. “We came into town from the Bay Area and wanted to do some whitewater rafting that wouldn’t allow dogs. Sara was kind of enough to watch our 12 pound shih tzu. Sara asked for his vaccinations records to make sure no dog would get sick, which was very reassuring to us. We felt very comfortable leaving him there and believe he had a lot of fun at her place playing with the other dogs. Sara checked in multiple times with updates and pictures and was very accommodating when we asked to pick him up an hour later than originally discussed. “Robert is fabulous!! I came to the area for a one month contract job. While driving across country, my 15 year old Chihuahua was grabbed by a big dog and was injured. Dixie could barely walk and had to go to two ERs along the way for care. Being under contract I HAD to start working and couldn't leave her alone or with other pets. I found Robert who happens to be between dogs. He was perfect. Cared for her with her unique needs of having to be picked up and even gave her the medicine she needed during the day. Mike's family operated an animal foundation and clinic, and I grew up surrounded by a handful of dogs, so your furry friend will be in excellent and experienced hands. Secondly, your dog is going to have a great time! We have a fenced-in backyard and if your dog likes to swim, we have a [gated] pool for them to play. We're located near plenty of dog parks and hiking trails which we visit nearly every weekend. I love spending time outdoors so your doggo will get plenty of exercise. Last but not least, my dog Clay makes a wonderful companion so your dog will have a built-in buddy during their stay. He's extraordinarily loving and gentle, very easy to get along with. About: I have always had dogs/animals. We have 5 dogs of our own. We also foster with a local rescue. We specialize in the squish face breeds. We completely understand climate control. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.
