“Michelle was great with my dog Oakley! I was so thankful she was able to take him on short notice and accommodate whatever we needed... Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

About: We have almost half an acre of free rein and adventure for your dog or dogs with two besties in tow. We both work from home and are available and present throughout your dogs stay. We can bathe or groom for an extra charge. Your dog will get our full attention and love, and we can accommodate and assimilate your family member within ours. We will do our best to pack walk your dog up to twice a day. Can accommodate dogs up to 60 pounds. We both work from home and are available and present 24/7. The most your pet could potentially be home alone would fully depend on its comfort level and safety- 2-4 hours max. We have a half acre fully fenced yard with dog doors from the house. We have the capability of sectioning off our space and/or crating if needed, however our hope would be to have your dog or dogs fully integrated in our home.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 10 years — ever since I was 12! What started as helping friends, family, and neighbors has grown into 5 years of professional pet sitting experience. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, and I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and part of the family. “Henry and Sharon have been amazing dog sitters for my 7month old puppy Bodhi. They watch him for puppy daycare one day weekly. They are very communicative and reliable and make sure they understand your dog’s personality and care needs so they can make it a comfortable and positive stay. We had a meet and greet with their dog Rufus prior to setting up daycare and Bodhi and Rufus play very well together. They always send a Rover card documenting how the day went with photos and potty breaks. They even go above and beyond and give Bodhi mental enrichment with puzzles and healthy treats. “Robert is fabulous!! I came to the area for a one month contract job. While driving across country, my 15 year old Chihuahua was grabbed by a big dog and was injured. Dixie could barely walk and had to go to two ERs along the way for care. Being under contract I HAD to start working and couldn't leave her alone or with other pets. I found Robert who happens to be between dogs. He was perfect. Cared for her with her unique needs of having to be picked up and even gave her the medicine she needed during the day. I got reassuring pics and was so relieved to find such a loving place to leave my "special needs" pup. Thank God for Rover and for Robert!”

“We were in Placerville to attend a friend’s memorial service and had no where to leave Dash. When we found Sara on Rover, we hit the jackpot! Sara has the most wonderful property to give your dog the play time that they will love. I knew that Dash was having the best time ever, from the photos, and the videos that Sara would send me. About: I have taken care of personal, friends, family, and strangers animals since I was about 8! I had animals in the 4H and FFA and have dealt with numerous species including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, and all livestock. I have also had my own of numerous since I was a small child. I currently have a part time job and am available most days of the week! I am also an online full time student at Sierra College! I have a large fenced yard of over 10 acres and 4 other kenneled friendly babies that could come out and play! I would only let out one at a time as I don’t want your pup getting too overwhelmed! We have a nice neighborhood to take walks through and so many things to see!

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have had many pets; dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, sheep and more. I thoroughly enjoy being with animals, loving and caring for them. Some of my first jobs were at animal clinics, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I was in FFA as a youth, where I raised and showed sheep, and where I also learned a lot. In my younger years I had many horses. I learned how to care for them, feeding, exercising, and cleaning up after them, etc! I learned responsibility, in addition to a deep love of animals. All of my experiences with my own animals, have made me a knowledgeable, responsible and compassionate animal care provider. I am currently semi-retired from working in the hospitality industry. I have plenty of time and I would thoroughly enjoy taking care of your beloved pets. I have an adorable mini schnauzer, Dudley, and a domestic short hair cat, Pete. I love them both so much and get so much enjoyment out of having and caring for them. We love cuddling, talking, and playing. I make sure they have the food, treats, exercise and attention they desire, and are well taken care of and will treat yours with the same love and respect that I show to my own pets.

About: I love cats and dogs and will make sure they get lots of attention and that their area is kept clean and tidy so you come home to a nice place!
