About: I've been around animals my entire life and currently care for two horses, a donkey, and a dog as part of my daily routine on our ranch. Growing up, I was surrounded by dogs, cats, and several reptiles, giving me experience with a wide variety of animals and their unique needs. Caring for animals is more than a responsibility for me—it's something that brings me genuine fulfillment and helps keep me grounded. From feeding, grooming, and exercising animals to monitoring their health and well-being, I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and attentive care. As a pet sitter, I strive to provide the same level of love, safety, and attention that I give my own animals every day. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking to their regular routine, I will make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you're away. I am reliable, trustworthy, and committed to treating every pet as if they were part of my own family. Pet care is already a major part of my daily routine. Early every morning, I get up early to feed my two horses, donkey, and dog. I make time to check in with each of them, give them attention, and make sure they're happy and comfortable. I also ensure all water troughs are full, muck stalls and runouts, and provide turnout time in designated pastures for grazing, exercise, and enrichment when appropriate. In the evenings, I bring the horses back in, separate them into their individual stalls so they can eat safely, feed everyone again, check that their environment is secure for the night, and close up the barn. Caring for animals every day has taught me the importance of consistency, attention to detail, and maintaining a reliable routine. Because animal care is already built into my daily schedule, caring for clients' pets fits naturally into my day. After completing my morning ranch chores, I have the flexibility to visit and care for other pets, and I treat them with the same attention and care I give my own animals. I enjoy making each pet part of my routine and ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I believe every pet is happiest when their routine is respected, so I take the time to learn each pet's needs and follow the owner's instructions closely. Whether I am caring for a pet in my home or in a client's home, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive exercise and bathroom breaks as needed, and get plenty of attention and companionship. I also monitor their behavior and overall well-being so I can quickly notice if anything seems unusual. If requested, I am happy to provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they are away. Having experience caring for a variety of animals—including dogs, cats, reptiles, horses, and a donkey—I understand that every animal has its own personality and comfort level. Some pets want lots of playtime and affection, while others prefer a calmer approach and space to relax. I adapt my care to what makes each pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve owned horses since I was young and into adulthood, so I’m very comfortable with livestock as well as typical household pets. I have a German shepherd and I’ve taught her everything she knows from Sit, lay down, speak, and even do a figure 8 through my legs. I’m the Executive Director of a nonprofit animal rescue and have extensive experience with: * rescue and anxious dogs * senior dogs * puppies * medication administration * decompression and slow introductions * leash handling and structured walks * dogs recovering from surgery/injury * reactive or fearful dogs I understand that every dog is different and I always prioritize safety, patience, structure, and making dogs feel comfortable and secure. Because I have animals of my own and run a rescue, I currently focus on: * drop-in visits * dog walking * medication visits * structured enrichment walks * pet transport/help with vet visits I’m especially comfortable with dogs that may need a little extra understanding or experience beyond a typical pet sitter/walker. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. After receiving my degree in Animal Science, I worked for an animal sanctuary for 6 years where we helped rescue, rehabilitate and care for animals in need. I've also been petsitting for neighbors and friends since I was 12-years-old. Since leaving the animal sanctuary, I’ve found myself really missing caring for animals and would love to help anyone, animals especially, that need assistance. Love playing, walking, and cuddling! Go for a morning walk before work. Take my dog to work with me and take him on a walk at lunch. Or if working from home, go for a walk on our lunch break. Gets fed 3 times a day and many treats! May go to the river or creek after work or on weekends. Dogs are allowed on couch for cuddles. I have a doggy door so dogs can go outside as needed. All doors and windows are closed and locked. The backyard is fenced with nice grassy area to run around. No kids, toys, or sharp objects in house for animals to hurt themselves on.

About: I have two of my own dogs of which I have raised from when they were puppies. I help with my friends and neighbors dogs. I would love to spend time and help with your animals by walking, bathing, feeding, or just give them some extra love. I am currently on summer break so I have quite a bit of free time during the day and overnight. It would not be a problem to have long hours or spur of the moment requests. I have a large fenced yard along with two other lovely dogs to keep your animal company. I can provide a loving bed and help with anything necessary.

About: I am a Registered vet tech who works emergency medicine. Due to my work experience I can also care for your senior or special needs pets. I love all animals, small and large. When it’s cool enough in this Sacramento valley heat you can find me at the lake, or enjoying a great hike or run with my own dogs. If your dog is capable of doing any of these activities you can special request that with me, but if your dog isn’t capable of that and needs a nice easy stroll I can adjust to whatever their needs are. During the heat I ask that we try to schedule early morning or in the evening after the sun is down as to not over work or injure your pups.

I cannot have pets stay at my house all though because my Doberman isn’t too fond of other dogs I make sure to keep them safe and comfortable by following their usual routines and respecting the environment they’re familiar with. I carefully follow all instructions provided whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or medication to keep everything consistent and stress-free for your pet. I treat every home with the same respect I give my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as you left them. Most importantly, I take the time to build trust with your pet through patience, attention, and care, so they feel safe and happy while you’re away.

About: I have taken care of pups in multiple different capacities since I was 18. From taking care of older dogs (giving them meds, changing diapers,etc) to watching puppies and helping potty train them. I have always loved dogs, but that love grew so much more when my husband and I got our Corgi-Australian Shepherd pup 3 years ago. I understand the feeling of wanting to make sure your dog is taken care of when you are gone for long hours. If you choose me, I will make sure to not only follow your instructions but make your pup feel loved, so that you can enjoy your day and not be worried. I work part time from home so I do have Mondays and Fridays off. So I’m flexible on those days and then weekend, if I have advance notice. I have cared for dogs from miniature Poodles to German Shepherds; each animal has their own unique personality and I look forward to meeting them all. I have embraced retirement, so I have lots of time to spend with your furry family.
