“Patti and Joe are very nice and love their dogs. Rylee's stay was good and he did receive lots of activity, attention and made a new friend in Buttons! The only issue was when Rylee returned home, he had stomach (throwing up) and potty (diarrhea) issues. I believe this was due to extra food/treats/kibble that he received outside of the instructed daily recommended kibble plan that he is accustomed to. He has a very sensitive stomach and is typically not given any people food or alternate dog food and has to follow the instructed meal schedule. Once he gets back on track he will be ok and otherwise all was well. Thank you!”

About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.

About: I have owned dogs since I was 7, ranging from small to large breeds. I have had a love for all animals all my life, and at one point considered a career as a Vet. I have been fostering the last 2 years with German Shepherd dogs as well as puppies. This company is the Sierra Nevada German Shepherd Rescue located in the el dorado hills area. I currently own a golden retriever and a rescued German shepherd/golden retriever mix, who have gotten along with all fostered dogs. Her house is on a large property that's fully enclosed and in a beautiful gated community in the hills. Whether you have a big dog that loves to run around and interact with other friendly animals or a small dog that prefers to spend time inside close to people, Michelle's house is an awesome place for pets! My dog has major separation anxiety, but instead of stressing out like he normally does when he knows I'm leaving him, Oakley immediately settled in and started exploring the property with one of her dogs right after we got there! I could tell from Michelle's updates and photos that Oakley was really enjoying his time there and felt comfortable he would be well taken care of if he needed to stay even longer in the future. The location of her house turned out to be really convenient and close to where I was going, but even if I'm further away the next time I'm in town and need a sitter, I know that Michelle will be our first choice for sure!”

I enjoy pet sitting so much because just like people, animals have their own personalities and it’s really neat for me to discover them in all the little fur friends I get to meet. I am good natured and loving and your pet will notice that right off the bat. I’m caring and compassionate and you won’t have to worry about your babies while I am there. I enjoy overnight stays because I know it’s important for them to be “at home”. It’s easy for me to feel at home wherever I go! I have a kitty and he stays home and is very content with that. He is a super friendly 15 lb MainCoon that has a very sweet personality. He’s always up for belly rubs. He does not accompany me on any of my stays or visits. I had animals in the 4H and FFA and have dealt with numerous species including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, and all livestock. We love to exercise outside and go out often to romp. I am currently working remote part of the time (office days are Tues/Thurs). We typically always have someone home and the dogs are likely never alone for more than a 2-3 hour period. Our dogs are very friendly and love to play! We do not have a fenced yard, so our preference would be dogs that are not a flight risk! We can use a flexi leash for potty breaks but that would limit outside play for our guests. We live on 2.5 acres with a lot of grass to romp and play. Our dogs do not go outside unless supervised.

About: Hi! My name is Sydnee. I’m a 23 year old married animal lover with extensive, hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes. I’ve owned horses since I was young and into adulthood, so I’m very comfortable with livestock as well as typical household pets. I currently have five cats and a dog of my own, and I’ve been actively caring for animals since I was about 13 years old. What started as helping neighbors, friends, and family quickly grew into a full pet sitting business. After several years, I took a break to explore other career paths and get married but my love for animal care never left. About: I have two of my own dogs of which I have raised from when they were puppies. I help with my friends and neighbors dogs. I would love to spend time and help with your animals by walking, bathing, feeding, or just give them some extra love. I am currently on summer break so I have quite a bit of free time during the day and overnight. It would not be a problem to have long hours or spur of the moment requests. I have a large fenced yard along with two other lovely dogs to keep your animal company. I can provide a loving bed and help with anything necessary.
About: I’m new to Rover but I’ve grown up around animals and love to spend time with them! I have a German shepherd and I’ve taught her everything she knows from Sit, lay down, speak, and even do a figure 8 through my legs. About: I have owned dogs since I was 7, ranging from small to large breeds. I have had a love for all animals all my life, and at one point considered a career as a Vet. I have been fostering the last 2 years with German Shepherd dogs as well as puppies. This company is the Sierra Nevada German Shepherd Rescue located in the el dorado hills area. I currently own a golden retriever and a rescued German shepherd/golden retriever mix, who have gotten along with all fostered dogs. I have a large backyard with a pool, and teach each dog basic commands, as well as an education as a dog groomer. There are many trails around my home, and I love to take the dogs for walks or jogs, depending on their energy levels.

We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.
