“This was our first experience using Rover.com, and we couldn't have been happier! Our sitter, Elaine, is terrific! Not only did she capture amazing pictures of our two Bengal cats, she even managed to win over Shiloh, who normally runs and hides under the bed whenever a stranger comes into our home. My husband and I could hardly believe our eyes when we watched the video of Shiloh letting Elaine pet her. It was nice, too, to come home to a clean and tidy area where the food dishes are as our cats always like dropping their food on the floor before eating. I highly recommend Elaine.”

“This was my first time using Rover. Riley came to meet us before we left on vacation, which was reassuring. It was nice to know we were in good hands! Riley always spent time with our cat, Lexi, even when Lexi was not being the best company! Riley is dependable and was great with Lexi!”

“Lauren was amazing and Mr. Kitty was instantly comfortable with her. She was very detailed, communicative and went above and beyond to make sure our house and Kitty were well looked after. Will definitely be rebooking. Thank you for everything, Lauren!”

“Samantha was extremely helpful with my dog and 2 cats. When it game to a meet and greet Samantha was very thorough and asked a lot of questions to ensure she didn’t miss anything. She was super consistent with timing, and had great communication, send pictures daily. She is someone I trust in my home.”

“Adrianne was amazing! She communicated well and made us feel very comfortable about leaving our dog with her. Not only did she take great care of our puppy, she made sure our house was perfectly clean upon our arrival. I highly recommend booking with her and will be using her in the future!”

“I can’t say enough about Lainey and her care of our pets June 3rd -19th. She is a very responsible, kind and diligent. Lainey understood how important this was for us, and she clearly cares very much for the animals in her care. Communication was fantastic right from the start and throughout our trip. Lainey went above and beyond our expectations. and we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone trustworthy to treat your pets as family. Thank you Lainey!”
“Irina was absolutely wonderful!! She went above and beyond every single visit and treated my dogs like they were her own. She was quick to respond to all communications and had availability on short notice for Thanksgiving which was a Godsend. So lucky to have found her and will rebook over and over again! Thank you!!”

About: I have owned dogs since I was 7, ranging from small to large breeds. I have had a love for all animals all my life, and at one point considered a career as a Vet. I have been fostering the last 2 years with German Shepherd dogs as well as puppies. This company is the Sierra Nevada German Shepherd Rescue located in the el dorado hills area. I currently own a golden retriever and a rescued German shepherd/golden retriever mix, who have gotten along with all fostered dogs. I have a large backyard with a pool, and teach each dog basic commands, as well as an education as a dog groomer. There are many trails around my home, and I love to take the dogs for walks or jogs, depending on their energy levels.
“Ruth took excellent care of our 3 kitties! I love that she was very thorough and took the time to let us know in detail everything she did with each visit. Although our kitties are very shy and hid under the bed when she came over, she still made sure to check on them and snap a pic so we could see their glowing eyes under the bed. ? We would definitely recommend Ruth and will be happy to have her care for our kitties again. ?”

About: Hi! My name is Sydnee. I’m a 23 year old married animal lover with extensive, hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes. I’ve owned horses since I was young and into adulthood, so I’m very comfortable with livestock as well as typical household pets. I currently have five cats and a dog of my own, and I’ve been actively caring for animals since I was about 13 years old. What started as helping neighbors, friends, and family quickly grew into a full pet sitting business. After several years, I took a break to explore other career paths and get married but my love for animal care never left. I’m excited to be jumping back into pet care and would love the opportunity to provide reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable care for your animals. 🐾 I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets in my care. I’m able to accommodate a variety of routines, including early mornings, late evenings, extended visits, and last-minute changes when needed. This flexibility allows me to spend quality, unrushed time with each pet and provide consistent, dependable care that fits seamlessly into their normal routine. A day with me is filled with attentive care, comfort, and plenty of love. Your pet’s routine comes first, meals are served on schedule, medications (if needed) are given carefully, and there’s lots of time for play, exercise, and enrichment tailored to their personality. Whether that means long walks, quiet cuddle time, interactive play, or simply relaxing nearby, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away.
About: My family has always had dogs growing up, so I've been around dogs all shapes and sizes my whole life. I have taken care of my friends, family, and neighbors dogs for almost 12 years now. I'm currently home full-time and available for your pets anytime. Whether it's walking when the weather is nice or popping in to say hello and take potty, I am available. I am available to come to your home for a long or quick hello. Personalized care for your pet to include feeding, exercise, and cuddle times.

About: I grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats always in the house. I deeply enjoy volunteering to walk and care for animals. I am a runner and can have dogs accompany me easily! During the school year I frequently walk dogs at the Portland Dog Rescue association up in Oregon. I have worked at the CSD in the recreational sports section , where I practiced time management, along with people/pet management. Overall, I love animals and am an extremely active person! My schedule is very flexible, I can accommodate any time or request. I'm free everyday day from 7am-10pm for walks and check-ins. I'm willing to work earlier or later upon request! I walk my own dog at least once a day for about an hour or so. I clean the litter box with diligence and love to give animals baths when they get dirty (bathing is needed most of the time after a trip to the dog park). At night I love to cuddle with my kitties and watch a movie.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 8, ranging from dogs, cats, horses, livestock, and poultry! Currently getting my vet tech degree and have previous experience as a vet and kennel assistant for animals of all sizes, ages, and kinds! I currently work and go to school remotely, so my schedule is incredibly flexible! Taking care of my own pup as well as my horse are my only other main concerns! I am currently renting on a lovely five acre property with plenty of space for your fur babies to stretch their legs with my golden retriever pup of a gentleman. I am always happy to cater my care and pet sitting experience to each and every pet!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my reliability, attention to detail, and genuine care for each pet as an individual. I take the time to learn and follow a pet’s routine exactly so they feel safe and comfortable, whether they’re a puppy, adult, or senior. I’m patient and confident working with puppies, including basic training reinforcement, potty routines, and leash manners. I’m also attentive to senior pets, providing gentle care, slower-paced activity, medication support if needed, and close monitoring for any changes in behavior or health. I communicate clearly with owners and treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits into my routine through consistent daily habits and a small weekly reset. I take care of feeding and fresh water every day, along with making time for exercise, bathroom breaks, and attention so my pet stays healthy and engaged. I also do quick health checks to make sure everything seems normal. Once a week, I focus on cleaning, grooming, and restocking supplies. Overall, it’s built into my day in a way that feels manageable and routine rather than overwhelming. I care for pets by following a consistent, attentive routine that prioritizes their safety, comfort, and well-being. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, always have fresh water, and get the appropriate exercise and bathroom breaks they need. I provide companionship and enrichment through play, attention, and positive interaction, while also monitoring their behavior and health for any changes. I follow any specific instructions given by the owner, including medication, feeding preferences, and routines, to ensure pets feel comfortable and secure in their environment
