My very first pet was my childhood cat, who I got when I was 2 years old and who lived with me for 17 wonderful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years or so by myself. Growing up my parents watched dogs for friends and family every so often. We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. I tend to get up early on work days but a night owl on the weekends. I enjoy getting out on the weekends like going on walks with hikes. I currently do not have fenced in hard but I do have a large grass area right outside my house that is dog friendly and is great for playtime and even doggie pool time.

About: I have always loved animals since I was little and have had various furry friends throughout my life. I have cared for dogs from miniature Poodles to German Shepherds; each animal has their own unique personality and I look forward to meeting them all. I have embraced retirement, so I have lots of time to spend with your furry family. From walking your neighborhood, exploring various trails, or just play time at the park or home, I will give your pet the love and attention I would my own pets. I currently have two cats, who are indoor only. They are played with daily, although half the time they just sleep in the sun. My current home project is to build them a catio so they can sleep there too.

I have experience taking care of pets of all sizes and ages, including elderly animals with disabilities. I currently have two dogs and one cat (pictured on my profile🩷). One of my childhood dogs had diabetes, so I am comfortable administering medication if needed. I have tons of availability this summer and am eager to meet your furry family member(s)! I am a college student home for summer break. I currently do not have a job other than petsitting so my schedule is very flexible.
