I currently work five days a week, with shifts on Wednesday and Thursday from 7:30 AM–12:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 AM–7:30 PM. At home, we crate our German Shepherd puppy whenever no one is there to supervise him, so I understand how important it is to securely kennel a dog before leaving the house if that's part of their routine. I know every pet has different needs, and I'm committed to following your instructions carefully to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy. My family feeds our dogs twice a day, in the morning and evening. While our dogs let us know when they're ready to eat, I'm more than happy to follow your pet's specific feeding schedule and any other routines they're used to. I believe consistency helps pets feel more comfortable while you're away, and I pride myself on being punctual and dependable. I also love taking dogs on walks to give them exercise, mental stimulation, and quality one-on-one attention. Throughout each visit or stay, I'll send regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.

About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years or so by myself. Growing up my parents watched dogs for friends and family every so often. We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. I tend to get up early on work days but a night owl on the weekends. I enjoy getting out on the weekends like going on walks with hikes. I currently do not have fenced in hard but I do have a large grass area right outside my house that is dog friendly and is great for playtime and even doggie pool time.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, fish, and especially cats! I have training from the SPCA on dog walking, cat care, and some skill/behavioral training for both cats and dogs. I have 3 years of fish keeping experience. I currently have my own cat (he’s orange!) and I am fostering a mother and her kitten for the time being. I am willing to help clean around the house as well! I have indoor/outdoor plants and I can take care of your plants while you are away - I have a green thumb :) I’ve helped friends and clients with farm animals, including feeding and cleaning their spaces. If directed I can help with other farm projects. I have a pretty busy schedule, but can set aside time on my busy days for drop-ins. I am free to stay at the house with your pet on my off days! To paint a better picture for you of what my availability looks like, my schedule alternates between busy and free days every other day. So if you need 24/7 in-home pet care I am not your best fit, but you can still ask if you’d like! I might be able to work something out for you :) Thank you for your consideration! I offer dog walking, in-home pet sitting, and I can do small cleaning projects for a minimal extra charge. I am gentle with the animals and can do grooming such as brushing and can try nail clipping if your pets allow it!

I’m now 32, and throughout my life, I’ve had a Maltese, an English Setter, and a Gordon Setter. My setters were hunting dogs, so I’m comfortable with energetic, intelligent breeds that need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I am a great animal lover and I have had dogs since I was little. In my childhood, I lived with two setters: an English setter and a Gordon setter, and a Maltese bichon. This has given me experience with both large and small dogs. Now, although we cannot have one of our own, I would love to care for others, as I greatly enjoy their company. My daily routine is flexible, and I have full availability to adapt to the needs of clients and their pets. I fully adapt to each pet’s needs. I am very attentive and will always ensure the dog has food, water, and is comfortable. If I notice something is wrong, I address it immediately. I handle walks carefully, avoiding direct sun, and if bathing is needed, I do so with experience, using proper shampoos and conditioners, especially for long coats. I can also brush them. If a vet visit is required, I will take care of it. Additionally, I love playing with dogs and making sure they feel calm and happy when their owners are away. In short, I handle all the care a dog needs with attention and affection.

I am currently a full-time student at Sacramento State, so I am at school from 9-10:15am Monday through Thursday starting this fall, which allows me to be available for your pet before and after class! About: Wow, I can’t remember a time I didn’t have a dog in my life. I grew up with a dog as a child. When I had a family we had a family dog and he grew up with my children, and have had a handful since. Currently, I have two shih tzu dogs that enjoys being around other dogs and playing. My grown children bring over their dogs for family events and my house becomes a doggy zoo! We wouldn’t want it any other way. I am a trusted friend who takes care of our friends and family dogs. About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember! My family has had many pets through the years, family dogs that we’ve cared for into old age, and dogs we have helped rehome! I have experience with many different breeds, including jack russell terriers, pitbulls, border collies, and many more. I love all animals and being around a new pet is so exciting for me. I promise to give your pet special attention and make sure they are happy and comfortable. I am currently in a dental assisting program, so I will be unavailable mondays and tuesdays. Any other day I will have full availability for your pet! I will make sure your pet gets lots of potty breaks if needed, or make sure their enclosure/litter box is fresh and clean!
