“Patti and Joe are very nice and love their dogs. Rylee's stay was good and he did receive lots of activity, attention and made a new friend in Buttons! The only issue was when Rylee returned home, he had stomach (throwing up) and potty (diarrhea) issues. I believe this was due to extra food/treats/kibble that he received outside of the instructed daily recommended kibble plan that he is accustomed to. He has a very sensitive stomach and is typically not given any people food or alternate dog food and has to follow the instructed meal schedule. Once he gets back on track he will be ok and otherwise all was well. Thank you!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, including a Golden Retriever and a Collie, and I’ve always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. After settling down and starting our family, we were ready to welcome a dog back into our lives. In 2024, we adopted Izzy, our sweet and friendly German Shorthaired Pointer. Our family absolutely loves having Izzy around, and I’d love the opportunity to give your dog that same attention, affection, and care while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. They’ll have plenty of companionship throughout the day, along with playtime, potty breaks, attention, and lots of love. If you prefer I visit your home to check in on your animal, I am happy to do so. I can stay at your home between 9a-2pm M-F or pop in on weeknights and weekends, or you may opt to board them at our home. We live in a clean, comfortable, family-friendly home on nearly half an acre with a fully fenced yard and a doggie door. Dogs staying with us can easily go in and out throughout the day to play, explore, relax in the yard, or come back inside whenever they want. Your dog will be treated like one of the family and cared for in a safe, loving home environment. About: I've had two dogs of my own as an adult, grew up with family dogs, and regularly do walks and drop-ins for my neighbor's dog. Both of my boys were brachycephalic breeds, so I understand how much care that takes — I'm especially attentive to heat sensitivity, breathing, and pacing during walks, and I know how to read a dog's signals and adjust accordingly. I've taken several dog training classes, read several books on positive dog training, and understand a dog's body language and signals. I've also cared for both senior and sick dogs, including my English bulldog who lived to 12 and my Frenchie that I supported through IVDD and surgery. I'm currently between jobs at the moment, and both my kids are in school. I'm generally open from 9am to 4pm for drop-ins and walks. About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years or so by myself. Growing up my parents watched dogs for friends and family every so often. We also had a border collie mix of our own for 15 years and I was responsible for taking care of him. I currently work M-Th; 9am-5pm but fairly free before or after work for walks and playtime. I tend to get up early on work days but a night owl on the weekends. I enjoy getting out on the weekends like going on walks with hikes. I currently do not have fenced in hard but I do have a large grass area right outside my house that is dog friendly and is great for playtime and even doggie pool time.

With professional veterinary training and years of hands-on experience in animal welfare at a local rescue, I bring both skill and compassion to every pet I care for. I’m well-versed in animal behavior, health, and proper handling, whether your furry friend is young, senior, energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. I’m comfortable administering medications, supporting pets with disabilities, and managing minor behavioral challenges. If something comes up that I am not comfortable handling, I'll speak up! I know my limits and choose not to push them to ensure the safety of all the animals in my care. My days revolve around the dogs in my care! I work from home and plan my schedule so they get plenty of attention, supervised playtime, and loving care. I want every animal who I care for to feel as comfortable and confident as possible. I try my best to keep their routine in tact while providing love and enrichment to their lives while you're away!

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs, including a Golden Retriever and a Collie, and I’ve always had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. After settling down and starting our family, we were ready to welcome a dog back into our lives. In 2024, we adopted Izzy, our sweet and friendly German Shorthaired Pointer. Our family absolutely loves having Izzy around, and I’d love the opportunity to give your dog that same attention, affection, and care while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. They’ll have plenty of companionship throughout the day, along with playtime, potty breaks, attention, and lots of love. If you prefer I visit your home to check in on your animal, I am happy to do so. I can stay at your home between 9a-2pm M-F or pop in on weeknights and weekends, or you may opt to board them at our home. We live in a clean, comfortable, family-friendly home on nearly half an acre with a fully fenced yard and a doggie door. Dogs staying with us can easily go in and out throughout the day to play, explore, relax in the yard, or come back inside whenever they want. Your dog will be treated like one of the family and cared for in a safe, loving home environment. I’m happy to answer any questions, arrange a meet-and-greet, or even give you a quick tour so you can feel completely comfortable with where your treasured family member will be staying. We have a clean, non-smoking, kid-friendly home and a large, fully fenced yard. Our doggie door provides supervised-by-presence access between the house and fenced yard, giving your dog the flexibility to go outside for potty breaks or play without having to wait for someone to open the door. Izzy is friendly and enjoys having other dogs around, but I will always make introductions thoughtfully and pay close attention to each dog's personality and comfort level. I'll follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, sleep preferences, and any special instructions. You'll also receive daily photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you're away.
