About: I absolutely love dogs and consider them part of the family, I am basically home 24/7 to care for your fur babies. I will watch small, non aggressive, potty trained dogs up to 35 lbs. I have 2 non aggressive 30lb French Bulldogs ages 3 and 8. I am a retired Fire battalion Chief and was also a paramedic for 25 years. I can accept longer vacation dates on a case by case basis as I also travel and need to book around my schedule. I spend time loving the pups in my care & playing fetch in my large yard. I also have a dog door for dogs to access yard. Your pups become my pups when left in my care. I don’t crate dogs unless requested. I request up to date vaccination records & that dogs are clean & flea free. Annual bordetella vaccine to prevent kennel cough is mandatory. All pups eat separately to keep dogs from eating another dog’s food & to prevent food aggression. Dogs are never left alone outside in my large fenced yard which is also locked for safety. I don’t accept aggressive dogs or those with food aggression. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. Meet and greets are always welcome and appreciated. Can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I’m basically home 24/7 and I let the fur babies move about the house freely. They can cuddle with me on the couch if I’m watching tv or play with me outside. I have a large fenced yard with a small turf area. Dogs are not left unattended. As I mentioned before, I will play with your pups and treat them like my own. I also have two sets of stairs for your fur baby to access the couch or bed (different size steps) or I lift them as well. I have 3 different types of dog strollers for morning/evening walks if your fur baby isn’t a walker (like one of my frenchies).

I've also done volunteer work at the animal shelter which included lots of dog walking and care. I have experience with other animals as well like my own chickens, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, and neighbors' goats and horses. I know it can be scary to leave pets with a stranger, but I will treat yours with love and care just like I treat my own. My schedule/routine can be pretty open for pet sitting depending on the day. I can do basic drop-ins, dog walks or a longer overnight stay. I am pretty quiet and calm and have been told I have a calming effect on animals. I will take good care of them and give them the attention they need. I can also do other basic duties like getting the mail, taking out the trash, etc. I'm vigilant about locking doors etc. to make sure everything stays safe. I try to keep things running as smoothly as possible while you're away and leave things tidy when I leave.

Many years ago, I worked in a veterinary hospital as an assistant. I also grew up riding horses and have owned many different species of animals. I offer drop-in visits and walks for ages and sizes. Dogs and horses are my passion, but I love all animals. I am available for drop-in care and/or walks at your appointed time with prior scheduling and depending on weather. I can care for all animals. I am a cautious and knowledgeable pet parent who will treat your fur babies as my own. Every animal will receive top notch care and personal attention.
About: Ive had pets ever since i was young i grew up with dogs and cats basically my entire life. At the moment i have 3 loving cats i sometimes sitter for a friend dog. “Irina did a great job of caring for my little dog Fred. Fred is a rescue and tends to be anxious in new situations. Irina and her environment are very welcoming and this was not wasted on Fred. He stayed close to Irina during his visit, following her everywhere. When she sat on the couch, she picked him up to be next to her. She had more than 1 dog boarding and I think this was also beneficial for Fred. I would gladly choose Irina again.”
