“Shannon is amazing. It was our first time using Rover and she was the best person to experience this service. We love it. From getting updates (photos videos and messages) to answering all questions we had the whole time. Excellent service. Highly recommend Shannon, and we look forward having our Luna stay with Shannon and her family in the future. Thanks for everything.”

“Another great stay with Michelle. Per usual, we had travel difficulties (car had to be towed from the airport). Michelle’s flexibility with pickup time was very helpful and appreciated. Good, quick communication, and lots of videos of the pup!”

“Alexa was great with George. She was so kind, patient and communicative throughout his stay with her. It provided us with great peace of mind knowing that he was cared for so well. We cannot wait to use her again without hesitation”

“George was very happy in Amy&Justin care. We received frequent and positive updates about his stay. There were very flexible and easy to communicate with us. We are very satisfied and would recommend!”

“So very highly recommended!!! Our puppy loves being in their home and receives the best care. The pictures and communications we get while we’re away is such a special touch!”

“Elaine is an amazing, experienced sitter and knew just how to help Floyd feel comfortable and settle in for a short stay. I appreciate the great communication and frequent updates. 100% would recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, caring environment for their animals.”

“Irina took amazing care of our dog while we were away for a week. We received photo updates and he had an amazing time with puppy playmates. He was exhausted when we picked him up. A tired pup is a happy pup!! Thank you again!”

“Great experience for us and Lucy!!!! Our dog is elderly (15) and Ruchi and her family were so welcoming and caring. Agree with all the previous reviews home is so clean and they were attentive to our dog and their dogs-who Lucy got along with just fine! We did the meet and greet and then an overnight before we leave her for extended period. It was so great to receive the text updates and pictures- Definitely put a sense of ease and peace for us as we have not left her before other than with family. Thank you!!😊”

“Melissa was the perfect person to take care of our Sara. She had a great time with Melissa’s pups and family. She kept us informed on how Sara was doing each day. This was great for us as it was Sara’s first boarding experience. We know Sara had a blast!! Melissa thank you for welcoming Sara, Rich and I. We enjoyed you and meeting your family!! Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

About: I have always had a pet dog throughout my life, so being around dogs feels natural to me. Taking care of them has been part of my daily routine, from feeding and walking them to making sure they are happy and healthy. Over time, I’ve learned how to understand their behavior and needs, which has helped me build a strong connection with them. Dogs have always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy spending time with them and caring for them. I work from home and love the challenge of some dogs. I wake up at 5 and feed my own dog and do some work. After I usually take him out for walks through the day. I walk him about 2 miles and can also walk your own dog, just tell me and I can do it. I can also follow any strict dietary restrictions if your dogs requires it for food. After around 3 I am free and spend time with my dogs all day after and chill with him beside me. But, if your dogs requires sheds a lot, I can’t promise he will be sleeping with me or be laying on the couch, I have a specialized ginormous dog bed for he/she. I live in El Dorado Hills, so it is very hilly in some areas, including my home. I have a big dog kennel outside that is surrounded by a fence, while I have a large dog cage inside my house that can also be used. I also have a area for the dogs to run and play in my backyard.
“Jena and family provided very loving and attentive care of our dog Harper. They took her for walks, played with her, loved on her and were very understanding and persistent in encouraging Harper to eat (she is more into people and play than food). Jena provided photos often showing Harper’s time with them which we enjoyed and appreciated. I highly recommend Jena and would be happy to use her services again.”

“This last week, Sara took care of our two pups for the second time. Quincy and Lucy both came home well cared for and very happy. Both my husband and I trust Sara with our furry friends and know they are having a wonderful time while we are gone. We will continue to have Sara watch them. Lucy is our 14 year old Labrador Retriever and Sara is extremely knowledgeable on how to take care of a senior dog. This is a quality that is important to us. Sara is the Best!!!”

“Alesya, it's a fantastic discovery for our family. Our one-year-old Maltese Snowie has a great time staying with her and her family. I felt great when I met her! She is a lovely, responsible person. She also sends me daily reports, videos, and pictures of our little girl while she watches her. We definitely will book her again and refer her to our friends 🥰”

“Sharon and Albert are AMAZING! This is by the far the best experience I've ever had leaving my pup! Blitzen is very sensitive and it takes her quite a long time to warm up to new people and she was comfortable immediately. I received pictures each day and I could tell what a great time she was having. For me Sharon and Albert are the only choice for watching Blitzen in the future.”
About: Belly rubs, couch cuddles, neighborhoods walking, backyard playing and toy playing. I love caring for animals, especially dogs. I have been around dogs for 18 years, caring for my own dogs and friends’ dogs. I prioritize your pet's safety and your peace of mind above all else. I follow your specific feeding, medication, and crate schedules perfectly. You can expect frequent photo updates, quick responses, and a highly structured, secure environment for your furry family member. I work from home every day. My schedule is very friendly for me to interact with and care for the furry friends. I don’t like to leave the dogs alone at home, even for my own dog. I have a large fence yard for your dog to go out and get outdoor play time. I also have a 2 years old miniature sheepadoodle who loves to run and play. Her name is Lulu, and she will keep your dog good company.
“They have been a great resource for caring for our pup for boarding and day care. Very nice people and very communicative. We feel super comfortable that they are taking the very best care of our dog.”

“Amanda was reliable front start to finish. She was commutative throughout our arranged time. Also sent pictures random throughout the day. Our lincoln seemed at home with their littles. 😀 I hope to be able to use her in near future.”

“The best review is the way my little guy went running to Michelle with his tail wagging when I dropped him off. He obviously enjoyed his stay with his doggie friends everything to explore in the big back yard.”

Rescue dog parents share their Rover experiences
Outstanding. Women had a couple of small dogs and my dog and her dogs good along very well. She had a big yard, took my dog for walks, kept him hydrated, and lived in a nice area in the Sierra foothills. Overall, he seemed happy to go to the dog sitters house and probably would have preferred to stay there instead of coming back home with us!!!!

Stephanie watched our 2 English Cream Goldens for 3 nights and integrated them right into her family. Lots of updates showing them making themselves right at home and getting lots of snuggles❤️ Definitely would highly recommend this Rover pet sitter for your cherished Goldens . We will book again soon!
