Dog loving couple in Cameron Park
Hi! My name is Elisabeth and I live near the golf course in Cameron Park with my husband and our friendly labradoodle, Clay. Although we already have one dog, our hearts are big enough for more so we'd love to take care of your dog while you're away! What can you expect if you book a stay with us? First and foremost, you can relax knowing that your dog’s safety is my top priority. Mike's family operated an animal foundation and clinic, and I grew up surrounded by a handful of dogs, so your furry friend will be in excellent and experienced hands. Secondly, your dog is going to have a great time! We have a fenced-in backyard and if your dog likes to swim, we have a [gated] pool for them to play. We're located near plenty of dog parks and hiking trails which we visit nearly every weekend. I love spending time outdoors so your doggo will get plenty of exercise. Last but not least, my dog Clay makes a wonderful companion so your dog will have a built-in buddy during their stay. He's extraordinarily loving and gentle, very easy to get along with. Elisabeth and her growing family continue to be an honest and trustworthy second home for our precious pooch. They helped us out of a bind on short notice for my father’s unexpected passing and we appreciate them!
Elisabeth is very responsive with communication. I could tell when I dropped Pepper off and picked her up that she felt completely at home with Elisabeth, Michael, and Clay. Pepper takes a bit to warm up to new people and animals....but you would have thought she'd known them forever. Pepper also takes time to start eating but didn't have any issues. I loved that Pepper was free to be at their home like she is at our home. It was important that she wouldn't be crated and that she wouldn't have a ton of restrictions. Elisabeth far exceeded my expectations and I will definitely book again. Thank you for treating Pepper as if she was your own!!!
Lily had an amazing first daycare date with Elisabeth and her pooch Clay. I received pictures and Lily looked so happy. Elisabeth is very warm and friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to have Lily stay with her again.
Phoebe enjoyed her stay with Elisabeth while we were out and about for a few hours. Her home is calm and inviting, something our nervous Chihuahua mix prefers. Elisabeth kept us posted throughout the day with pictures and texts, which I appreciated since this was Phoebe's first time with her. We will definitely book with Elisabeth again!
Elisabeth and Michael are wonderful people who were great caretakers for our pup while we were out of town for 5 days. They opened up their home and hearts to Barley and they have a beautiful and mellow dog of their own (Clay) who is friendly, gentle and patient with other dogs. Barley had a great time and was sad to leave his new friends. It was a great relief for us to know he was in good hands. We will always look to Elisabeth and Michael first when we need someone to care for our boy.
We are so grateful to have found Elisabeth to care for our dog Myles. Leaving him for a week was difficult for us to do, but our minds were at ease with him under her care. She was extremely attentive to his needs and sent us pictures and updates throughout the week. Her dog Clay is the sweetest and Myles loved having a friend to play with! He actually spent a couple days moping around upon our return because we think he missed Elisabeth and Clay!

A typical day
We're pretty active on a day-to-day basis thanks to our labradoodle Clay. We go on walks multiple times a day and because we live near the dog park, we'll usually head over there once we're done with work. We also have plenty of games to play while at home to keep them entertained during our workday.
