About: Hi! My name is Sydnee. I’m a 23 year old married animal lover with extensive, hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes. I’ve owned horses since I was young and into adulthood, so I’m very comfortable with livestock as well as typical household pets. I currently have five cats and a dog of my own, and I’ve been actively caring for animals since I was about 13 years old. What started as helping neighbors, friends, and family quickly grew into a full pet sitting business. After several years, I took a break to explore other career paths and get married but my love for animal care never left. I’m excited to be jumping back into pet care and would love the opportunity to provide reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable care for your animals. 🐾 I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets in my care. I’m able to accommodate a variety of routines, including early mornings, late evenings, extended visits, and last-minute changes when needed. This flexibility allows me to spend quality, unrushed time with each pet and provide consistent, dependable care that fits seamlessly into their normal routine. A day with me is filled with attentive care, comfort, and plenty of love. Your pet’s routine comes first, meals are served on schedule, medications (if needed) are given carefully, and there’s lots of time for play, exercise, and enrichment tailored to their personality. Whether that means long walks, quiet cuddle time, interactive play, or simply relaxing nearby, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away.

Some of our clients have been with us for several years and their fur babies have become our part-time pets:) Rest assured, your furry friends will be well taken care of while you are away. We have experience working on farms with a wide range of animals, but we mostly care for dogs of all sizes in your home. We will leave your home cleaner than when we arrived! We started caring for animals while traveling abroad and have been pet sitters all over the world 🐶💜 We are happy to take your pet on short trips with us; if you're comfortable. We love a good, detailed list of what your pet needs, and we will follow your instructions exactly. Let us know any questions or concerns and we will be happy to assist. Look forward to speaking with you! I am currently attending college for nursing. I work one day a week and go to classes for 4-5 hours 2x a week, which means i am available frequently. Marius runs a yard maintenance business which allows flexibility to care for your pets. We work together to make sure your babies are well taken care of. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. After receiving my degree in Animal Science, I worked for an animal sanctuary for 6 years where we helped rescue, rehabilitate and care for animals in need. I've also been petsitting for neighbors and friends since I was 12-years-old. Since leaving the animal sanctuary, I’ve found myself really missing caring for animals and would love to help anyone, animals especially, that need assistance. Love playing, walking, and cuddling! Go for a morning walk before work. Take my dog to work with me and take him on a walk at lunch. Or if working from home, go for a walk on our lunch break. Gets fed 3 times a day and many treats! May go to the river or creek after work or on weekends. Dogs are allowed on couch for cuddles. I have a doggy door so dogs can go outside as needed. All doors and windows are closed and locked. The backyard is fenced with nice grassy area to run around. No kids, toys, or sharp objects in house for animals to hurt themselves on.

About: I have always loved animals since I was little and have had various furry friends throughout my life. I have cared for dogs from miniature Poodles to German Shepherds; each animal has their own unique personality and I look forward to meeting them all. I have embraced retirement, so I have lots of time to spend with your furry family. From walking your neighborhood, exploring various trails, or just play time at the park or home, I will give your pet the love and attention I would my own pets. I currently have two cats, who are indoor only. They are played with daily, although half the time they just sleep in the sun. My current home project is to build them a catio so they can sleep there too.

About: I began Pet Sitting professionally when I was 16, but I have been caring for friend's and neighbor's pets as long as I can remember. I have also been a vet tech and managed a Doggie Daycare. My love is animals and I love working with them. I have wide availability and can accommodate almost any scheduling need. Pet Sitting is my job, not a side gig, so my calendar is committed. I intend to keep your pet's routine as close to regular as possible. I will work with you to determine what your pet will need while you're gone. I am reliable and trustworthy, and I'm Licensed and Insured for even more peace of mind. The safety and security of your pets and home are imperative while you're away. Having a sitter come to your home can make your home appear occupied and deter crime.

About: I have been taking care of neighbors, familys, and friends pets for 6 years now. From daily walks to overnight stays, I have always found joy in spending time with animals and making sure they feel loved and comfortable. I always make sure to treat every pet like my own with plenty of attention, patience, and care. Back home I have two dogs, an American Doberman named Mia, and a German Shorthair Pointer named Hunter. I am free anytime and somewhere not too far from me. I am happy to work around your schedule and spend the night with your pet(s) if needed. I cannot have pets stay at my house all though because my Doberman isn’t too fond of other dogs I make sure to keep them safe and comfortable by following their usual routines and respecting the environment they’re familiar with. I carefully follow all instructions provided whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or medication to keep everything consistent and stress-free for your pet. I treat every home with the same respect I give my own, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as you left them. Most importantly, I take the time to build trust with your pet through patience, attention, and care, so they feel safe and happy while you’re away.

  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
