About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up on a farm gave me an early, deep appreciation for animal care, and I’ve spent the last 40 years personally raising everything from dogs and cats to birds, rodents, and reptiles. Having cared for pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, I understand that every animal has its own unique personality and routine. About: I've grown up with dogs since I was five years old. When I was a teenager, I would foster kittens till they were old enough for new homes. I would also volunteer in high school at an emergency vet clinic. I've also cat sat for my neighbors for a generous number of times. I still have my first dog from when I was five so hopefully that's a good sign :) I'm available throughout the week depending on my schedule from my primary job. Most of the time I'll for sure be able to pet sit after 3pm. On weekends I'm fully available. I will take your dog(s) on various walks throughout the day if needed. If you have a cat(s) I will routinely clean the litter box and play with them if they like with a toy. For any animal I will water is out for the thirsty pets. And I will feed based on your request.

Zackary was fantastic to work with. We had initially been a little worried that we wouldn't be able to find someone to walk 2 large dogs at once. Zachary showed up and was able to put our worries to rest. We had a test-run where he showed up and put on their harnesses and took them around the neighborhood for a test run. He was so kind and willing to work with our special instructions (just come around the back, harnesses will be set here, knock on the back door to get the dogs to come out, etc) For the week we were gone on vacation, he had showed up on time , took them for long daily walks, sent updates and did everything to make sure we felt comfortable and that our dogs were happy, healthy and well exercised. Mira is awesome! My dog was so excited for his walk with her, and came home and slept the rest of the day. She was on time, professional, and followed all instructions I had mentioned previously. It is obvious that she loves animals, and has a lot of experience with them. My dog loves her!
Melody is awesome! She’s so kind and patient with my senior dog. She’s also super helpful and friendly with my elderly mom. I went on a trip and am lucky Melody was there to change my dog’s diapers, walk her several times a day, and assist my mom with feeding my dog. Melody really cares about animals and won’t hesitate to help you care for your pet while you’re away. She even did a meet and greet with me and my dog beforehand.
