About: Animals have been part of my life from the very beginning. My family raised and cared for pets of all kinds, including Maine Coon show cats, a golden retriever, and a yorkie. I grew up surrounded by them, learning early how to read behavior, provide steady care, and build trust with different personalities and species. The only time I ever lived without an animal in my home was during my first two years of service in the Air Force. Since then, I have continued to share my life with dogs, cats, and the occasional more unusual companion such as a bird, a ferret, and a snake. Every one of them has been loved and treated as family. These days I share my home with Daxter (my orange tabby) and Catarina and Beretina (two crazy torbie sisters) who keep life entertaining in all the best ways. I am a veteran currently in school and I work part time as a martial arts instructor. Outside of that, I enjoy drawing, playing guitar, and video games. Among my friends I have become the go to pet auntie because I care for their animals as if they were my own. My goal is to bring that same level of attentiveness and genuine care to every pet I look after. Whether they are shy, energetic, quirky, or easygoing, I meet each animal with patience, respect, and a calm presence so they feel safe while you are away. I currently work part time as a martial arts instructor during the day, but my schedule is extremely flexible to accommodate both you and your pets’ needs I care for every pet with a focus on respect, clear communication, and their individual comfort levels. With many years of experience, including caring for my own three cats (Daxter, Catarina, and Beretina), I’m very attentive to both physical and emotional needs and quick to notice changes in behavior or stress. About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I've owned four dogs, both large and small breeds, and have a deep understanding of their unique needs. One of my dogs had a seizure disorder, so I’m very comfortable administering medications multiple times a day and responding calmly and confidently to medical emergencies like grand mal seizures. I also groom my own long-haired small dog and have experience with breeds that require regular grooming and extra TLC. I volunteered at the ASPCA, where I completed their dog socialization training. This taught me a lot about canine behavior, safety, and how to build trust with dogs of all backgrounds. I walked and socialized dogs at the center, and it was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Over the years, I’ve provided house and pet sitting for family and friends, always making sure to adapt to each pet’s routine and personality. I genuinely enjoy getting to know every dog I meet and aim to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved in my care. Outside of pet care, I work as an environmental scientist and am passionate about protecting wildlife and our natural world. I work a typical Monday–Friday, 8–5 schedule, but have some flexibility and often work from home. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s specific needs and would love the chance to care for your furry family member! I work in environmental science and typically 8am -5pm Monday through Friday. I have a hybrid schedule that allows me flexibility to work from home or wherever and I have every other Friday off. I am typically free on weekends unless I have a scheduled vacation, which will be on my schedule. I care for pets in their own home to help maintain their routine and sense of comfort. I follow feeding, walking, and medication schedules closely, and always prioritize each dog’s unique needs and personality. With experience handling medical conditions and understanding dog behavior, I create a calm, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. I treat every dog like family and aim to make them feel secure and cared for in your absence.

I have also had multiple dogs and cats in my life since I was a child. My special skill is finding that right spot to scratch for each dog.
