About: I grew up with a Yorkshire Terrier and currently have a cat of my own, so I’m very familiar with the everyday routines that come with caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve also helped care for my husband’s senior Scottish Terrier! I recently decided to take a break from the corporate world, and I’d love to spend some of that time caring for your furry babies 🐾❤️ I’m new to Rover, but I take pet care and communication seriously. Please feel free to ask me any questions - I’m more than happy to answer them and will always follow any specific care instructions you provide! I’m currently taking a gap from work, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with your pets! For walks and drop-in visits, I’m available throughout the week 8am-8pm and can usually accommodate different times. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine whenever possible. I’ll follow your instructions and your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, litter box/potty care, and any other specific needs. I’ll be respectful of your home, can send photos updates, and will keep in touch during each visit so you know how your pet is doing!

About: I have a 9 year old cat of my own, adopted her when she was a kitten! Throughout the years I have also taken care of the family pets (two cats and one dog). I love going for walks and I would often have our family dog tag along. I have experience in giving oral medication to cats + following a medication/feeding schedule. I’m currently working full time, Monday-Friday, I’m available to walk and care for pets during my work breaks, evenings during the week, or any time during the weekend. I provide a loving environment to any animal I come across. I want them to feel safe and comfortable enough to trust that they know I am a friend!

About: I've had cats and dogs my entire life, and volunteered at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter for a year after college. I've fostered kittens and a senior cat with medical issues, and cared for many older pets over my life. I once house sit for a family with rabbits so I have a little bit of familiarity with them. I have house sit for friends with a standard poodle and a mini doodle, including giving the standard poodle his daily medication and taking them both for twice daily trips to the park. I have also checked in on my parents' two dogs and 5+ cats to feed them, let them out for potty breaks, play with them, and give them medication. My sweet orange tabby got cancer a few years ago and I fed him three times a day through a feeding tube and administered his medication as well. I work some evenings, so I am free most of the day to care for your furry friends. I take care of my own senior kitty in the mornings, after my evening shifts, and during any free days. I have pet sat for friends and family before, including giving medication and two daily walks. I will follow all instructions to the letter and ensure your pet feels right at home.

I’ve had dogs in my life for over 30 years — growing up with Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Border Collies, and Labs, and later caring for high-energy breeds like Huskies, Malamutes, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans as an adult. I’m comfortable with big dogs, strong pullers, and dogs who need real exercise, but I’m just as happy with a Chihuahua curled up on the couch. I spent 8 years as a nanny, so looking after something that depends on you completely isn’t new to me — it’s second nature. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. I don’t board dogs in my own home, since I have a resident cat (a very opinionated tabby mix), but I’m experienced with cats too, including Maine Coons and other long-haired breeds, if you need a sitter for feline friends as well. I’ve handled the less glamorous parts of the job without blinking: medication schedules, backyard cleanup, even a dog who met a skunk face-first. My standard for every visit is simple — when you get home, your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and ready to sleep well. I treat your home and your animal the way I’d want mine treated. I’m self-employed, so my schedule is flexible and mostly built around dog care. I’m generally available 8am–6pm on weekdays, with some days running later. In the summer heat, I keep an eye on pavement temperature and adjust walk times so it’s safe on paws — sometimes that means earlier or later in the day rather than midday. Weekends are available with advance scheduling. I’m also happy to do drop-in visits spaced out over the day or across longer periods if that suits your dog’s routine better than a single visit. Since I don’t board dogs in my own home — I have a resident cat — all my care happens in your space, on your dog’s normal turf, which tends to be less stressful for them than an unfamiliar house. I follow whatever routine you set: meals, meds, walks, exercise. I’m comfortable administering medication, cleaning up after accidents or messes, and handling anything that comes up — I’ve dealt with a dog getting skunked, dogs with high energy who need real exercise, and the everyday logistics of keeping a home running while you’re away. My rule for every visit: your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and settled by the time you get home.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs throughout my hole life. I have no preference and love them equally. I’ve had mostly larger dogs over the years and I currently have a mixed dog from the shelter named Buu, who is very friendly! I’m a firefighter in between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is very open. When I’m working I usually have 2 days on and 4 days off, my schedule is very flexible. This gives me plenty of time to take care of pets and give them ample attention. I would respect the house hold and do everything that is requested from the owner of the pets and treat every animal as if they were my own.

I’m comfortable with young puppies to seniors, nervous/shy cats, those who need medication and anyone in between ☺️ I’m located right in the heart of the Mission District and work in Noe Vallley, so anywhere in those two areas are easy for me to access. I also have a car and can access further if need be!
