About: In my younger years I was known as that house you could trust your pets with, which sadly led to less boarding and daycare services and more abandonment of pets on my doorstep. I accepted each surrender because I always figured better here with me then on the streets. After successfully adopting out all these love bugs to people I knew and trusted over the years, I've found myself in smaller quarters. I've found comfort and fulfillment in caring for outdoor cats (commonly referred to as strays) Taking in an orange Tabby to call my own in the process. I've made friends with neighbors who share the same love and passion and through these connections found community - a cat community! I currently care for three cats (siblings), house-sitting as well while their human parents are away. Each individual cat has it's different wants/needs. Through these experiences I've learned gaining trust and love is different for each individual feline. I'm looking to expand my care/services to neighboring cat families mainly because I love cats and know how important it is to have a community of cat folks in your corner when duty, vacation or emergencies call. I'm currently employed by Uber Eats so I make my own schedule. I'm open to weekend care as well. The only thing I do religiously is cultural dancing on Wednesday nights. My current clients are all indoor kitties so I am used to securing the household, feeding on a schedule throughout the day and doing enrichment with them be that play or individual love and cuddle time. I prepare meals specific to each cats needs, keep litterboxes and surrounding areas clean and keeping water stations fresh.

About: I have a 9 year old cat of my own, adopted her when she was a kitten! Throughout the years I have also taken care of the family pets (two cats and one dog). I love going for walks and I would often have our family dog tag along. I have experience in giving oral medication to cats + following a medication/feeding schedule. I’m currently working full time, Monday-Friday, I’m available to walk and care for pets during my work breaks, evenings during the week, or any time during the weekend. I provide a loving environment to any animal I come across. I want them to feel safe and comfortable enough to trust that they know I am a friend!

About: I've had cats and dogs my entire life, and volunteered at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter for a year after college. I've fostered kittens and a senior cat with medical issues, and cared for many older pets over my life. I once house sit for a family with rabbits so I have a little bit of familiarity with them. I have house sit for friends with a standard poodle and a mini doodle, including giving the standard poodle his daily medication and taking them both for twice daily trips to the park. I have also checked in on my parents' two dogs and 5+ cats to feed them, let them out for potty breaks, play with them, and give them medication. My sweet orange tabby got cancer a few years ago and I fed him three times a day through a feeding tube and administered his medication as well. I work some evenings, so I am free most of the day to care for your furry friends. I take care of my own senior kitty in the mornings, after my evening shifts, and during any free days. I have pet sat for friends and family before, including giving medication and two daily walks. I will follow all instructions to the letter and ensure your pet feels right at home.

About: Hi there! I’m Mel. I’ve had dogs in my life for over 30 years — growing up with Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Border Collies, and Labs, and later caring for high-energy breeds like Huskies, Malamutes, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans as an adult. I’m comfortable with big dogs, strong pullers, and dogs who need real exercise, but I’m just as happy with a Chihuahua curled up on the couch. I spent 8 years as a nanny, so looking after something that depends on you completely isn’t new to me — it’s second nature. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. I don’t board dogs in my own home, since I have a resident cat (a very opinionated tabby mix), but I’m experienced with cats too, including Maine Coons and other long-haired breeds, if you need a sitter for feline friends as well. I’ve handled the less glamorous parts of the job without blinking: medication schedules, backyard cleanup, even a dog who met a skunk face-first. My standard for every visit is simple — when you get home, your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and ready to sleep well. I treat your home and your animal the way I’d want mine treated. I’m self-employed, so my schedule is flexible and mostly built around dog care. I’m generally available 8am–6pm on weekdays, with some days running later. In the summer heat, I keep an eye on pavement temperature and adjust walk times so it’s safe on paws — sometimes that means earlier or later in the day rather than midday. Weekends are available with advance scheduling. I’m also happy to do drop-in visits spaced out over the day or across longer periods if that suits your dog’s routine better than a single visit. Since I don’t board dogs in my own home — I have a resident cat — all my care happens in your space, on your dog’s normal turf, which tends to be less stressful for them than an unfamiliar house. I follow whatever routine you set: meals, meds, walks, exercise. I’m comfortable administering medication, cleaning up after accidents or messes, and handling anything that comes up — I’ve dealt with a dog getting skunked, dogs with high energy who need real exercise, and the everyday logistics of keeping a home running while you’re away. My rule for every visit: your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and settled by the time you get home.

About: Hi all! I’ve been around animals my entire life. Grew up with an Australian Shepherd. Since then have had a small Maltese mix and now a corgi who I love so dearly. Plus 2cats. I’ve cat/dog sat for the weekend for many family friends. I will play with your pet, brush your pet, give them fresh water! Take them on a walk or out to potty. And I will make it feel loved every second I’m there! I love animals and connect pretty well to them. So I hope my love for animals can help you feel comfortable with me taking care of your fur baby while you’re away! I just ask, no aggressive animals please. About: I grew up with dogs (both big & small) my entire life. I started as a pet sitter for neighbors, friends, and family, and grew to become a popular overnight sitter for many families in the Davis area. I have many years of experience walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats, some with special needs and medications. I’m a genuine animal lover so your pets will always be in good hands. My work schedule is currently flexible so I’m not in the office every day. I have time for longer drop-in visits and walks, more than once per day. I can do overnight stays in the client’s home, preferably no longer than 2 nights. I have lots of experience staying with pets in the client’s home for long periods of time so I’m very respectful of the space I’m in. I always stick to the routine the pet is used to. I’m also a dog owner myself so your pet will be treated how I would treat my own dog (with lots of love!).

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs throughout my hole life. I have no preference and love them equally. I’ve had mostly larger dogs over the years and I currently have a mixed dog from the shelter named Buu, who is very friendly! I’m a firefighter in between jobs at the moment, so my schedule is very open. When I’m working I usually have 2 days on and 4 days off, my schedule is very flexible. This gives me plenty of time to take care of pets and give them ample attention. I would respect the house hold and do everything that is requested from the owner of the pets and treat every animal as if they were my own.

But to amp things up even more, I’m thinking about diving deeper into dog-related adventures: volunteering at a local animal shelter (walking and playing with pups who need it most), trying out dog agility classes or hiking trails with furry friends, joining a dog meetup group for pack walks and play dates. I make my dog healthy foods to eat, I always wash her up after walks and play with her with her toys, we love to just chill on the couch and watch tv.

About: Hi there! I’m Jenna and I have been around animals all of my life. I have been house sitting/ animal sitting for over 10 years now. I can take care of dogs of any breed, cats, horses, goats etc. I do work full time, but my partner works from home and they are able to provide care when i am at work. We can accommodate special requests I am in an apartment on the 1st floor. We have a dog park, and a lot of grassy areas nearby. I have a camera set up in my living room, that allows me to check on the animal throughout the day. We also have extra toys and treats for animals staying with us.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11, including my own family golden retriever and the pets of neighbors and friends! No matter what stage your pup is at, I’ll make sure to take great care of them! I’m a student currently, but on the days I don’t have class or need a break from studying, I like to stay active by walking with furry friends. I keep a tight schedule when taking care of pets, making sure to keep pups on their regular routine when their parents are away. I can accommodate any needs be that dietary, crating, activities etc. My main priority is to keep your pup healthy and happy.
