About: While new to the Rover community, I have been caring for pets professionally for decades. I believe that pets are part of your family, and I treat them as if they are already part of mine! Whether your pup is brave or timid, a couch potato or an explorer, I will ensure they are in the best of hands while you are away. I work from home, so pets get lots of time and attention. I live near McKinley Park, so there are plenty of long and short walking options nearby. I have a fenced yard that keeps your pets safe. I have one dog of my own, a young Doodle who is a low key little muppet who just wants someone to chase him or watch TV together.

“Elizabeth was amazing with Indie. Very gentle and caring, didn't overdo it on their first walk together! I know we will be asking Elizabeth for a lot more walks in the future! :)”

“I’m always nervous leaving my dog at a new place. And during the recent months we’ve been together pretty much 24/7! Persia made it so much easier. She took excellent care of Sadie, sent beautiful photos (she’s a pro!), and offered plenty of structured playtime and adventures! I will definitely work with her again.”

“Erin is prompt, reliable and trustworthy. My sometimes very anxious dog and Erin became fast friends...such a relief!! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Super communicator and very good with dog. Patient and kind. Will call again.”

About: Hi there! I’m Allison and I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up overseas I learned to not be afraid of any animal around me. I have experience with authority and obedience with dogs, as well as just an overwhelming love to be around them and hang out with them. Currently have lots of availability to take care of all your pet needs! Always happy to take on new clients and available for check-ins at any time of day, in addition to all day, at-home jobs. I will respect your environment and your animal in whatever way you desire me to. I will be able to accommodate most needs if directly communicated to me, and am willing to work with difficult animals as well.

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I've owned four dogs, both large and small breeds, and have a deep understanding of their unique needs. One of my dogs had a seizure disorder, so I’m very comfortable administering medications multiple times a day and responding calmly and confidently to medical emergencies like grand mal seizures. I also groom my own long-haired small dog and have experience with breeds that require regular grooming and extra TLC. I volunteered at the ASPCA, where I completed their dog socialization training. This taught me a lot about canine behavior, safety, and how to build trust with dogs of all backgrounds. I walked and socialized dogs at the center, and it was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Over the years, I’ve provided house and pet sitting for family and friends, always making sure to adapt to each pet’s routine and personality. I genuinely enjoy getting to know every dog I meet and aim to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved in my care. Outside of pet care, I work as an environmental scientist and am passionate about protecting wildlife and our natural world. I work a typical Monday–Friday, 8–5 schedule, but have some flexibility and often work from home. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s specific needs and would love the chance to care for your furry family member! I work in environmental science and typically 8am -5pm Monday through Friday. I have a hybrid schedule that allows me flexibility to work from home or wherever and I have every other Friday off. I am typically free on weekends unless I have a scheduled vacation, which will be on my schedule. I care for pets in their own home to help maintain their routine and sense of comfort. I follow feeding, walking, and medication schedules closely, and always prioritize each dog’s unique needs and personality. With experience handling medical conditions and understanding dog behavior, I create a calm, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. I treat every dog like family and aim to make them feel secure and cared for in your absence.

“Sarah was excellent! The dogs got a great walk each day. I will definitely schedule with her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs. So much work, and so worth it. About 12 years ago I switched over to cats, when two adopted me, but I still have a tremendous love of animals and I miss dogs in my life. I always say pets hold all the good in the world. They are everything to me. I feel more comfortable talking to your cat then I do talking to you. Lol they are my friends, and I really want to get into “work” where I can be happy and helpful and surrounded by friends. I’m also a picky owner so I know the odd specific things you want to happen and I can totally learn those things and do them and won’t think it odd or too much. Quick drop ins I could do whenever. My other job I mostly work from home and have a semi-flexible schedule. I can do longer visits during lunch, evenings or weekends. I’d care for your cat or dog however you want! For my own cats, I feed them a complicated breakfast, a small lunch, a complicated dinner, and treats! There is also playtime throughout the day and I “tuck” my cats in to sleep. Lol Don’t forget pets and lots of talking! If you have a camera, it doesn’t bother me, but just expect me to talk almost non stop to your pet. I want them to really feel and hear my presence to capitalize on my time with them.

“Olivia did an amazing job walking our dog while I was away for the week! She was very professional and clearly loves pets. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have spend numerous amount of time introducing and building healthy behaviors with my five year old Belgian Malinois. Dog walking for some can be a struggle, but I love working with dogs of all ages and personalities for a more positive experience for both dog and human. I currently work from home with a schedule that I have full control over. I require a meet and greet ahead of time, and will make sure to set aside proper time for each interaction. I have a 5 year old well trained Belgian Malinois home, I have experience working with sensitive breeds and dogs that tend to be shy. I have access to a grass park 10 steps away from my front door without and street crossing, this no yard at my place, if day care is needed I'll reach and promote healthy income behaviors. Including structure building games, house rules, and relaxing. Puppies welcome! I will require a meet and greet up to a week before first time care to get to know you and your pet better.

About: Happy to meet you! My name is Kat and I have a lifetime of experience caring for kittens and puppies as well as senior dogs and cats and every age in-between! I understand from experience how important and deserving these critters are of joy and care. I am a patient and friendly caretaker and will do everything I can to minimize stress or disruption to an animal's daily routine, letting their behavior guide interactions and play. Trust me with your animals and they will come away from the interaction feeling cared for, well exercised and refreshed. I’m also familiar with administering oral medications to both cats and dogs and I have no problem administering that care. I currently enjoy a flexible schedule and am happy to accept repeat business from those who want a consistent caregiving experience for their beloved buddies. Dog walking: Your pet enjoys an exciting 30-minute or 60-minute walk, enjoying the sights and smells of the neighborhood. If communicated and agreed upon beforehand in a clear and timely manner, I’ll happily incorporate custom experiences into my visit. (favorite and familiar routes or any toys that they'd like to take with them, etc.) I'd also be happy to feed your pup if requested and ensure that they have access to fresh water. Drop-in service: I will ensure that your friend has fresh water that they enjoy as much play as they would like from me, and the comfort of companionship. I am flexible and will happily incorporate custom experiences such as feedings, administering oral medications during my visit if instructions are communicated clearly and agreed upon beforehand in a timely fashion.

About: New to Rover but have been pet sitting for years! I have had or been around dogs all of my life. I travel for work so currently can’t have a dog of my own so helping others with their dogs is the next best thing. I also have a lot of free time on my hands due to current travel schedule. I travel for work about once a month and have a very open schedule when I’m in town. I know well ahead of time when my work will make me unavailable. I can’t host due living in a midtown apartment but I am available for drop ins, walks and overnights if the clients and I have an established relationship.
