“Our dogs stay with Achara went so smoothly! It was their first time overnight and a long extended stay so I was initially nervous to leave them for that long, but Achara’s communication and care were excellent all the way through! Our young one looked to be having so much fun running and playing with Achara’s puppy and our older one looked very happy and comfortable doing her own thing 🥰 We were overall very happy and not nervous once we saw how happy the dogs were in the daily photos and videos that were sent to us. Thanks Achara for a great experience! We’ll definitely be back again!”

“Brandee's care and concern for my fur-kid was exceptional. She's very likable and an excellent communicator. She's clearly integrated Rover into her household's every day happenings and my dog confidently made himself right at home with her and her family. Dropping a dog off at Brandee's is like taking a kid to a favorite cousin's house for the week -all play and no home sick blues.”

“Michael is an amazing sitter! He is very attentive to my energetic husky. They have lots of play time and go on walks throughout the day. I especially like that Michael sends me a lot of pictures throughout the stay. It helps put me at ease that my pup is well taken care of and comfortable in Michael’s home.”

She is very sweet and professional the first time we met. I picked her before but didnt need her that time . She was very sweet and understanding thats why when i needed a sitter she wss the first person i contacted. Ceecee has very bad speration anxiety and this was my first time leaving her with someone she didnt know. I called and texted a million times she never missed not one call or text and made me feel at easy everytime. My dog also have pancreatitis She have a special diet she followed all food instructions i gave her .. Ceecee was smiling the whole time she was with her and she dont do that with anyone. Anything i asked her to do with CeeCee she always said "Sure, no problem" she is very good with communication and easy to talk to . She also have a dog Nova is so sweet and was also glad she was there to keep her company then another dog came over and it was a slumber party. I couldnt ask for a better sitter. Thank you Reginay 😊.”

“We booked Roy because our previous sitter canceled and Roy was quick to respond and very willing to take care of Rudy. Rudy is a Doby in his teenage phase so he has a lot of energy and Roy was ready to take that on. He gave Rudy lots of attention and play time and Rudy had a blast. We felt so relaxed on our trip because we knew Rudy was in good hands. Highly recommend Roy for your sitter!”

“I had a last minute change and needed a boarding one day before I left and Bari was the first to respond to my request. Absolutely great boarding experience. Will contact her again I need dog boarding in the future.”

She treated my girl like one of her own, allowing her on the couch, bed, by her feet as she works from home, multiple walks a day, a hike, and exploring local parks. She sent SO many pictures everyday and kept me updated on my pups’s adventures. She is kind, compassionate, caring, and I simply cannot recommend her enough. I’m considering driving an extra two hours for an upcoming trip so that Rebecca can watch her again! Also- her home is perfect for your pet. She has a fenced in back yard with beautiful rose bushes, grass, and her neighborhood is safe & welcoming!”

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats in the past, as well as walked neighbors and friends dogs! Moved to a new city so looking for new pups and cats! Currently have a full time job but find myself in one place most of the day so looking for ways to stay active! I’m available most weekends, and week day nights! I like to keep a clean space so am sure to clean up after animals, as well as have a safe space for them to play, eat, and use the bathroom!

“Jessica was absolutely amazing and so attentive when stopping by! She came by for a meet and greet and I could tell right away she could get along with any animal & human, very sweet person! My cat Percy loved her and I could tell when I got home that he had been extremely well taken care of. She wrote very nice & long reviews each visit which when on vacation I absolutely LOVE !! Thank you Jessica!”

“Jandy was incredible and I will absolutely be rebooking in the future. She was very responsive in answering all of my questions before the visit, including being willing to do a meet and greet with my three cats (where she immediately got down on the floor with them to make them comfortable!) She sent multiple photos and videos every visit and reached out to ask extra questions just to make sure she was aware of how much each cat usually eats/uses the bathroom/etc to make sure everyone was healthy - which was so appreciated especially since one of my cats is on a daily medication. My cats loved her, especially the extra play time (Jandy brought several toys for them to play with which was great). If you’re a first time Rover user like I was, let my experience show you that you should def pick Jandy!”

“Wunna was amazing! The moment our dog, Shadow, met him, they got along and Shadow trusted him immediately. He was flexible and accommodating of our schedule. He responded to our messages quickly too, which we really appreciated.”

“I highly recommend Joel! My old girl was calm and happy after her day stay. Extremely considerate of Lola’s needs. She’s a picky pup and can be stressed by strangers, but not with Joel. Didn’t have to worry about her safety or well-being. A great help and huge relief.”
“Roy was awesome! He was flexible with pick up times and sent me a ton of photos during the stay. When I picked up my pup, he didn’t want to leave which was a great sign! Would definitely rebook :)”

About: I love animals which includes pets! I come from a home that has two of the sweetest pitbulls. Moving out I of course got a cat, and she does well with dogs! I also watch my family member’s dogs at my home and they do excellent with her. Each pet is unique in their quirks and what makes this gig especially fun in figuring out what is it. Hire me to give your pet the care they deserve. I currently only work a part time job for 2 days out the week from 11-4pm. However my partner works full time at home and is my helper in this! We have the same values about pets and will ensure amazing care. Big living room area with tons of space to be in and rooms. Closed doors for alone time but most importantly front door with access to street closed off.
“I couldn't ask for more from a dog sitter. Marcie followed my instructions, provided a comfortable environment with positive stimulation, kept me updated with messages/pics and was just an overall pleasant person. Wonderful job!”

“Manuel is wonderful!! He took our dog Chunk in for a couple days of doggy daycare and the experience could not have been better. Not only did he have a great setup, he is responsive, sent photo updates, and genuinely cared about my dog being comfortable and happy!”

“Coming off of a very questionable Rover experience, Katherine stepped in at the last minute to help cover one of the days that we were without a sitter due to the previous cancellation. Having a bad taste in our mouths, we were very skeptical but Katherine proved to be amazing. Not only did she explain a lot of other situations and help us set expectations, she was amazingly on top of her care for our pup. Kind, aware, sensitive, and watchful are just a few examples of how she applied herself towards our pup. We will DEFINITELY use her again. Thanks Katherine!!!!!”

“Grisel always treats my girl like real family. Always considerate and understanding, and has helped take the very best care of her. She always gets excited when we pull up because she knows she will be loved and have a good time. Highly recommend.”

About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.
“Leo loved his day care experience with Hana! She was so kind and send so many pictures of Leo throughout the day. We will deff be booking with her again. She’s amazing l!!”

“Bari and her husband were so wonderful with our two pups. They sent us plenty of (super adorable) pics and were super communicative during their entire stay. Our dogs came home tired and happy from having such a blast. We can’t wait to go back to “daycare”!”

“I’m so grateful to Achara for taking such good care of my pup! He did so well and had so much fun. Achara completely took my worries away from leaving my dog in a new place and sent me such good pictures! Thank you to Achara!”

“Katherine was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Vigo. She is clearly very experienced and comfortable with all different kinds of dogs, which immediately put us at ease. We felt completely confident leaving Vigo with her for two consecutive days while we visited Sacramento. Katherine has an excellent system for thoughtfully and safely socializing dogs, and it was clear that Vigo felt comfortable with her and engaged right away. Our dog has A LOT of energy and loves to run and play, and he was genuinely happy and very content when we picked him up both days. We couldn’t have been happier with the care Vigo received. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone with dogs of any breed or temperament. We wish she lived closer to us for regular stays but will absolutely go back to her any time we’re in the area.”

“Great Doggy Daycare! Annie took wonderful care of my dog, Shiloh, during daycare. She was kind, professional, and kept great communication. Shiloh came home happy and relaxed, which tells me everything I need to know! I highly recommend Annie. Randy & Shiloh 🐾”

“Ollie always loves the days when he gets to spend with Manmeet! In fact at drop off, he usually forgets in there and runs to meet her knowing he's gonna have a great day!”

“Anna was so sweet and my dog Deuce was so comfortable with her. He usually has a mini melt down when I leave him but he was so happy. The coursed dinner we attended ended up taking much longer that I anticipated and Anna was so sweet and understanding when we were later to pick up Deuce than what we had scheduled. Can’t wait to use her again!”

“Brandee provided fantastic care for our beagle. She is a good communicator and is super easy going. She sent photos of her daughter snuggling our dog, which sealed the deal. We’ll be back!”

I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and I love and miss them very much ;(. I’ve built beautiful bonds with my dogs and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! “Andrea has been walking my dog Jack for a a couple of weeks now and he has been so happy with her! He is skiddish and shy, but has taken very well to Andrea, which I think speaks well of her! They walk during lunch and he is so much more calmer in the afternoons and when I get home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Marina is so great! She is reliable and she is always on time! We booked with her a couple times and Bentley is always happy and relaxed after spending time with her. I totally would recommend her and book with her again!”

About: Hi there! I’m Jenna and I have been around animals all of my life. I have been house sitting/ animal sitting for over 10 years now. I can take care of dogs of any breed, cats, horses, goats etc. I do work full time, but my partner works from home and they are able to provide care when i am at work. We can accommodate special requests I am in an apartment on the 1st floor. We have a dog park, and a lot of grassy areas nearby. I have a camera set up in my living room, that allows me to check on the animal throughout the day. We also have extra toys and treats for animals staying with us.
About: I have been house and pet sitting for over 15 years. My love for animals is a core part of who I am and how I like to spend my time. I grew up around a wide variety of animals, such as dogs, cats, chickens, llamas, and horses, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age I helped tend to our rotating family of 2–5 dogs at a time. This gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and life stages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors with special needs. I currently share my home with my two beloved cats (Ellie & Ripley, 6yo sisters), and I also help care for several neighborhood cats regularly. I understand that each cat has a unique personality and needs, and I'm happy to learn your kitty's special habits and routine. Your feline family members will be in experienced and loving hands. As a house sitter I am clean and respectful of all pet owners' privacy and personal space. I have prior experience managing properties, so I am familiar with a variety of home styles and their practical needs (e.g. keeping old houses cool in summer). I will take good care of your home so that you have one less worry while traveling. Whether your pet needs extra patience, medication management, or just lots of playtime and cuddles, I bring genuine care and a lifetime of experience to every visit. Your pets won't just be looked after, they'll be loved. My husband and I take care of our own two pets every day. We're very proactive about refreshing water dishes and litter boxes, as well as enforcing everyone's diet and feeding schedule. I also help care for my neighborhood outdoor cat colony. We help keep them fed and safe. I treat my client's home with respect and privacy, prioritizing your pets comfort and routines. I'm happy to play with them or just give them some quiet company while you are away and they are missing you.

About: I have been pet sitting since I can remember and grew up with two dogs of my own. Been caring for many families' pets in for over 15 years, have been caring for my S.O.'s dog for almost 2 years and have my own little ACD as of July... so I can provide multiple references! Currently living in Midtown and looking to help out families in Midtown, Downtown, and surrounding neighborhoods for any single day service or daily dog walking. Can service in most of the Sacramento area for overnight services. I'm responsible, communicate well and will make sure your pet feels loved while you are away! Also a volunteered at Charleston Animal Society (prior to moving here) socializing dogs/participating in dog play groups. About: I know how difficult it is to leave your furry companions for any period of time, so I will do everything in my power to keep both owner and pet happy and feeling comfortable! I've been pet sitting ever since I can remember, and have experience with several other animals besides dogs, i.e. cats, rabbits, horses, etc. I am extremely flexible and will be able to adjust to whatever you need, whenever you need. For all services, I always keep in mind what's best for your pet, and am always willing to go the extra mile. I've been known to drive an extra half hour to make sure a dog isn't alone and afraid in a thunderstorm! I also recognize that animals appreciate structure and a schedule, so you can rest assured they will have all their needs met on time, as they are used to.
“Janessa was great! I needed a walker last minute and she responded almost immediately! She was able to be flexible as well when I messaged her and needed to push my pups walk back on the second day! 5 stars!”

About: I’ve taken care of lots of types of dogs and cats. I have experience giving medicine to both dogs and cats ( I have experience with the cat burrito maneuver). I am patient with animals and do my best to meet them at their level. I am an owner of a high energy dog and she has taught me so much about talking care of pets. During the week, I have availability for lunchtime walks and evening hang. On the weekends, my schedule is much more open and I can be available whenever you need me. When taking a dog into a backyard I always make sure they are supervised. My pup is a jumper and can easily jump a fence. So I know what to look out for. When in a new spaces I always walk the fence line to check for any holes or loose boards. With indoor cats, I enter and exits the house carefully so nobody escapes. I understand cats can be shy, so i usually pick a spot and hang out quietly there and wait for the cat to come to me.

I will honor whatever your pet's routine and preferences are, and am happy to schedule a meet up prior to our housesitting appointment to ensure that you and your fur baby feel comfy with me.
About: I have proudly cared for dogs through every stage of life for over 9 years now. My services have earned the trust of numerous neighbors, friends, and family members, who have entrusted me with the well-being of their beloved fur babies. I maintain constant communication with them, ensuring they stay informed about their pets' welfare. In the past, I served as a dedicated dog walker for multiple neighbors, treating each precious pup as if they were my own. As a devoted dog mom myself, I extend that same level of care and affection to every animal under my watchful eye. Your fur baby will receive my undivided attention, and should any medical care be required during their stay with me, please don't hesitate to inform me—I'm more than willing to provide the necessary assistance. In my client's home, I follow their specific instructions to ensure the pet's comfort and well-being. I will also constantly keep you updated on your pet’s care, since I know from personal experience how important and comforting it is to receive updates while my pet has been in care with others.
“I 100% trust my dog with Arianna! She always leaves notes about how he did on his walk and I really appreciate it! She gives me peace of mind while I’m at work. I know my dog is in good hands :)”

About: Animals have been part of my life from the very beginning. My family raised and cared for pets of all kinds, including Maine Coon show cats, a golden retriever, and a yorkie. I grew up surrounded by them, learning early how to read behavior, provide steady care, and build trust with different personalities and species. The only time I ever lived without an animal in my home was during my first two years of service in the Air Force. Since then, I have continued to share my life with dogs, cats, and the occasional more unusual companion such as a bird, a ferret, and a snake. Every one of them has been loved and treated as family. These days I share my home with Daxter (my orange tabby) and Catarina and Beretina (two crazy torbie sisters) who keep life entertaining in all the best ways. I am a veteran currently in school and I work part time as a martial arts instructor. Outside of that, I enjoy drawing, playing guitar, and video games. Among my friends I have become the go to pet auntie because I care for their animals as if they were my own. My goal is to bring that same level of attentiveness and genuine care to every pet I look after. Whether they are shy, energetic, quirky, or easygoing, I meet each animal with patience, respect, and a calm presence so they feel safe while you are away. I currently work part time as a martial arts instructor during the day, but my schedule is extremely flexible to accommodate both you and your pets’ needs I care for every pet with a focus on respect, clear communication, and their individual comfort levels. Whether a cat or dog is shy, social, or a little spicy, I follow their cues and let them set the pace. With many years of experience, including caring for my own three cats (Daxter, Catarina, and Beretina), I’m very attentive to both physical and emotional needs and quick to notice changes in behavior or stress. Your peace of mind matters just as much as your pet’s. If you’re away, I provide consistent updates and photos as often as you’d like so you always know how they’re doing. I welcome specific instructions or preferences because every pet has their own routine and every owner has their own comfort level. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe and content, and you feel confident that they’re in good hands.
“As first-time Rover users, we chose Alexandra and all we can say is Alexandra is the best! She is extremely prompt & communicative and was eager to help us navigate the app and Rover support when we realized we were being charged holiday fee outside of the holiday period. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she cares for while the owners are away. Thanks Alex!”

“I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with Bari and the way she took care of my border collie Woody. You can tell she has a genuine love for dogs and she takes her rover responsibilities very seriously. During my trip I was always in the know about how my dog was doing because Bari reached out to me each time she tended to him with texts and pictures which gave me peace of mind knowing that my dog is in great hands and being taken care of exceptionally well. I highly recommend Bari.”
“Carolyn is just the absolute best thing that has happened to us! I can’t say enough about her. She is perfection wrapped up into a beautiful human. Thank you for everything you do for my baby girl 🥰”

“Reginay watched my dog CeeCee I am definitely coming back again. Reginay kept in communication with me the whole time. She agreed to a meet and greet before she watched her. She even took all three walking at once multiple times and took multiple pictures and videos with CeeCee smiling the whole time and let her sleep in her room with her which was amazing and when CeeCee needed her space from the other dogs she made sure she had it. Over all she was the perfect sitter .She made feel very comfortable with her watching CeeCee I am using her everytime I need a sitter. I would give her 100 stars if I could. She was the best!

“Annie was truly a blessing while we were away. She treated my dogs Chip and Bengi like her own and showed so much patience and kindness. She was extremely understanding, dependable, and made the whole process stress free for us. It’s not easy trusting someone with your baby, but Annie made it feel so comfortable. We are beyond thankful for her! 💖💖🥹”

“Alexandra is a wonderful caretaker for my two fur babies. She provides daily photos and updates, is super responsive and accommodating with pick up and drop off arrangements, and truly cares for my dogs. I can tell both of my girls enjoy their stays with Alexandra since they are always excited to see her when I drop them off. I’ll continue to be a repeat client, thank you Alexandra!”

“Grisel and her daughter took such good care of my Momo! I could tell Momo was comfortable and felt safe. They were also excellent communicators and send me very frequent picture updates of Momo, which I really appreciated. Would definitely have Momo stay with them again.”

“Stop your searching here! Rebecca is a one and a million. I’m not living in Sacramento- but I wish I was so that she could consistently care for my sweet fur baby!

“Demetra and her husband were the BEST dog sitters. Our anxious dog fell in love with them and their two dogs. They were excellent at communication and sent daily updates with photos and video. We will definitely be asking them to pet-sit again and I enthusiastically recommend them.”

“Declan had such a great time!! We were so worried about leaving Declan but Marcie took great care of him and put our minds at ease. She sent us so many photos too (which we loved!) and was very responsive when we messaged her to check in on our pup.”

“Jenna and Lexx were amazing with our husky. They played with her and took her on lots of walks! Neko was a happy pup when I picked her up. I got photo updates during my week away and never once felt concerned or nervous about Neko’s care. Thanks a bunch!”
“Manuel is very caring. He also asks thoughtful questions that prepare him to give individualized attention to one's dog. His own dog is a charming fellow who was a good companion for our dog. He was flexible through some tricky booking issues - so he's good with humans, too! Next time we need to board our dog in his area, we really, really hope he will be available. Our nervous old girl was able to relax and have a good time while she was there, and that means a lot to us.”

“Noelle and her partner took excellent care of my elderly, blind dog at their home. Communication and accommodation was outstanding. I highly recommend them!”

“Tammi was great with my reactive German Shepherd. She sent me photos and let me know how he was doing daily. Communication was great. I appreciated that she was available on short notice. Highly recommend her! Will book again! Thanks!”

“I had a mix up with other care and Katherine was able to accommodate Tashi over Christmas in a pinch! I felt super comfortable with her caring for Tashi and her two resident dogs made Tashi feel like she was on a 4 day long play date! Can’t recommend enough. Thank you, Katherine”

About: I love all animals but my favorite animal is definitely a dog! I’ve grown up with dogs & cats my entire life and have learned how to care for them and love them in their own ways. I also have two senior dogs as well as a hyper younger dog so I am good with dogs of all ages!! I’m currently taking a semester off before going to nursing school so I have lots of time to work around schedules. I am mostly free during the morning and nights but can also make afternoons work! I have a safe fenced in backyard with a nice pool for dogs to play in! I have lots of balls and other toys for dogs to also play with!
“Shadow had another great boarding visit with Nelly! My pup was under some limited activity monitoring, as well as medication administering, and I’m grateful for the peace of mind that he was in great care during his stay. Always love the photo updates and even got a “good morning from my pup” video one morning. Thank you Nelly for taking such good care of my sweet boy, we’re excited to see you next week 🤗🐶”
