“Achara did a great job from the beginning to end! She responded to all of our messages in a timely manner and had no problem answering any of my questions. We are very particular about our fur babies and worry a lot whenever we leave them so it was nice to have someone who was willing to reassure us repeatedly. Achara made sure to let our 2 puppies meet her dogs through a baby gate to make sure everyone got along perfectly first which was great. Our dogs and hers got along great. She sent us lots of pictures everyday to show us how our puppies were having a great time and playing. She took them walking and made sure they got to stay active like they do at home. Pickup was easy and dogs were happy and safe which is what we love!! Very satisfied with the whole experience. We will definitely recommend Achara to friends and will be using her again!!”

“Martha was awesome! Very attentive and caring. Kept in contact to let me know how Angel was adjusting. And sent pictures which reassured me that she is definitely an animal lover 🩷🩷🩷”

“Reginay is an amazing person!! She looked after my dog very well and she was able to share a lot of pictures and kept me up to date on how my dog was doing through the whole booking. I would highly recommend her to anyone using this app. She goes above and beyond for our pets!!!”

“Rosalinda was immediately receptive and responsive to my last minute request for dog sitting. I made the request 1hr before I needed to head out of town and she approved it! Relief! I also loved the my dog Tilly was able to play with 3 other dogs while she stayed with Rosalinda. And Rosalinda spent a few minutes with Tilly and I before I left to ensure Tilly and I felt settled in. Thank you, Rosalinda!”

“Michael is great with our dog. Very easy to schedule with, sends really cute pictures and takes lots of walks. Happy to book his services again and will continue to use him.”

“Patty did great with our Molly, who is a bit of a diva and still working on her social skills. She kept us updated on all her fun and her accomplishments. It felt like going to Auntie's house!”

“Bari was wonderful. She went above and beyond what I asked her to do and the dogs seemed happy and content when I returned. She kept me updated with pictures so I didn’t worry. I would definitely use Bari again!”

“Hana took such amazing care of our 5 month old puppy! She went above and beyond by far. My puppy was so loved and cared for. I felt relieved knowing she was in such experienced and attentive hands while we were away. My puppy got to learn how to walk on a leash with other dog friends, was fed cooked chicken and healthy dog treats like carrots, and got to play and have zoomies in her beautiful yard with other dog friends. She even let my puppy take naps and sleep next to her and wasn’t upset when she had a couple of accidents over the course of her stay. I highly recommend Hana!”

“Grisel took great care of my pup. She was very communicative & always kept me updated with pics of my girl, made me feel at ease knowing my pup was in good hands. Mila looks forward to her next visit with Grisel.”

“Nathaly was great! Mayu really enjoyed staying with her and her pup Stella! She misses Stella! I can't wait to have Nathaly watch Mayu again. She was very good at sending daily pictures of Mayu :)”

“I'm so grateful to Alexandra for looking after Peaches while we were away for the Fourth of July weekend. She accommodated our dog’s needs amid the Independence Day festivities, and I appreciate how well she was taken care of.”

“Danielle was a fantastic host. She is a good communicator, very accommodating and overall just a delightful person. Cersei felt 100% comfortable staying with Danielle and had fun playing with her own pups as well.”

“Wow! Thank you so much, Yifang and Wing! Charlie has been through a lot. Before I adopted him, he had been surrendered to the shelter twice, so he gets very nervous and scared around new people. Yifang and Wing were absolute lifesavers. They were so patient with Charlie and took the time to make sure he felt safe and comfortable. They sent the cutest photos, took him on walks, and gave me so much peace of mind. The sweetest part was that by the time I got home, they really knew Charlie and his little personality. It was clear how much they cared for him. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my boy. I highly recommend you!”

About: Nothing is more important to me than the health and safety of your family. Safety being most important, my next concern is that your dog has a positive and rewarding experience in any environment they find themselves. I train dogs. My walk price reflects that experience and value I add to your dog’s experiential learning. My core philosophy is that all learning be a positive incentive based experience for the dog. Boarding rates do not include dog training. Dogs in my care receive structure throughout their day including structured playtime, walks, training, and enrichment consistent with the needs of the client. Each dog is an individual, and I welcome a discussion to find out how I can best serve your dog’s individual needs! My demonstration dog is a 1.5 y/o Malinois Husky. He is stable with all dog breeds and sizes. I work him as a sport dog but he is built to be a companion dog. Dogs in B&T may be crated or in an exclusion room for compression and decompression when not actively being trained or exercised. They will also receive structured play and walks consistent with their individual goals.
“My regular sitter had to back out at the last minute and I was stressing out, but I'm very grateful to Marc and Rachael for accepting my 3 fur kids at the last minute. They sent me updates and pictures everyday, and I could tell that my dogs were very well cared for. Their house was a great environment for my doggies, and they did a great job with dogsitting them for a whole week. Highly recommended!”

“I really appreciated Jared. He sent tons of pics of my furry little family member. Love it. Kylie. I know enjoyed her stay with Jared. I so look forward to utilizing Jared again”

“I’ve booked with Joel over 5 times now and I have nothing but positive things to say about him and how he has taken care of my dog, Cleo. He is so communicative and responds in such a timely manner – and is so flexible! I work a full-time job and travel for work and even if I have to pick her up pretty late in the evening, he is so cool about this and all I have to do is shoot him a quick text. He sends pictures and videos and keeps me posted on how the pup is doing when she’s there which is so nice. He is so kind and I can tell he really cares about what he does for his dogs. He takes her out walking a lot and feeds her correctly and plays with her a lot! When I pick her up she’s always tired (which is good). That way I know he was really trying to keep her engaged. Joel is definitely the best sitter I’ve ever booked with on this app. He’s so accommodating! Would HIGHLY recommend booking with him. My dog gets so happy when she sees him too because she knows she’s going to have an awesome time. He also treats her things so well, whenever I pick her up he always folds her blanket and places the things in her bag neatly. He rocks! 100000/10.”
“Matt was absolutely amazing with our two dogs, going above and beyond with our anxious Doberman puppy who struggled when we're away. He sent us detailed updates and photos every day, which was so reassuring - especially seeing them enjoy their daily walks together! His messages about their behavior and activities were super helpful, and we really appreciated how quickly he let us know about our pup's paw wound (which we already knew about). He truly understood how to handle our young Dobie's separation anxiety and kept both dogs happy and comfortable throughout their stay. His professional and attentive approach made what could have been a stressful time so much smoother for everyone. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter!”

“As a first time rover user, I was worried about the process and my cat and home's safety. Jenna was amazing and totally worth the book of faith. She was prompt, communicated well, and even helped me navigate the app. 10/10, will book again!”

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats in the past, as well as walked neighbors and friends dogs! Moved to a new city so looking for new pups and cats! Currently have a full time job but find myself in one place most of the day so looking for ways to stay active! I’m available most weekends, and week day nights! I like to keep a clean space so am sure to clean up after animals, as well as have a safe space for them to play, eat, and use the bathroom!

“Jessica is so kind and considerate, and always makes me feel so comfortable leaving my kitten at home with her. I’ve never seen my shy kitten warm up to anyone as fast as she has with Jessica! She is very communicative and asks thoughtful questions. So glad I found her!”

About: I’ve lived with cats for 9 years total, including 6 years with my own — an older, sassy cat who’s both indoor and outdoor, so I understand the routines and boundaries that come with that kind of independence. I’ve also cat sat many times, mostly for larger breeds like Maine Coons, and I’m comfortable with cats who have strong personalities and don’t want to be babied. I follow whatever routine and boundaries your cat is used to, indoor, outdoor, or both.
About: I have a 9 year old cat of my own, adopted her when she was a kitten! Throughout the years I have also taken care of the family pets (two cats and one dog). I love going for walks and I would often have our family dog tag along. I have experience in given oral medication to cats + following a medication/feeding schedule. I’m currently working full time, Monday-Friday, I’m available to care/walk cats or dogs in the evening during the week or any time during the weekend. I provide a loving environment to any animal I come across. I want them to feel safe and comfortable enough to trust that they know I am a friend!
“Katherine was fantastic! She was very easy to communicate and work with, and she set me totally at ease about my cat's wellbeing. She provided lots of good pictures and was attentive to my cat's needs.”

“An excellent sitter for your kitty! She provided detailed updates on each visit, including beautiful photos of my little buddy. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve taken care of my friend’s cats for years. I’ve taken care of cats that needed medicine, from pills to ear drops. I’m also down to just pet and hang. Whatever your cat needs.

“Even though my cat is a big cautious baby, Michelle always takes the time and effort to make sure he knows his family being away is only temporary! I always rebook!”

“Erika was fantastic! She took outstanding care of our very mature (19-yo) cat. She provided updates with photos twice a day. She spent time giving him attention, took care of the litter box, handled the house alarm system with out a hitch. She even collected the mail and provided updates on the yard after a storm. Things could not have gone better!”

“Holly is awesome! I was nervous leaving my guys behind because one of them is due for surgery very soon so there has been recent eating changes. It was crucial to have someone help me out with having Greysito eat. Holly was on top of it all for each visit! She sent sweet pictures of my guys playing, getting pets and simply being cute. I’m grateful to have her help me with them with feeding them, scooping the litter box and simply showing them love! I don’t travel often but Holly will be me go-to Rover sitter from now on! Thanks Holly!”

“I'm so grateful for Natalie caring for Winston. She was so wonderful with sharing pictures and providing daily updates. I so appreciated not worrying about my boy. He felt super loved too. I could tell when I got back that he wasn't as stressed as when I normally leave town. Thank you so much!!! I'll be in touch soon.”

“Michelle was wonderful! She took the time to get to know my cats and their very different personalities. Communication was fast and easy, and she had great photos of my kitties.”

About: I’ve grown up with cats in my whole family and currently have two cats of my own, so I understand their different personalities, moods, and routines very well. I’m experienced with feeding, litter box care, playtime, and giving cats the space or attention they need depending on their comfort level. I’m especially patient with shy or sensitive cats and always aim to help them feel safe and relaxed. As a cat owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone gentle, reliable, and attentive caring for your pets while you’re away 🐱💛

“Char is very reliable, conscientious, and communicates well. Our pets are well taken care of when we are gone for a long period of time. We can highly recommend Char if you need somebody to watch your pets even for a long period of time.”

“Wunna was amazing! The moment our dog, Shadow, met him, they got along and Shadow trusted him immediately. He was flexible and accommodating of our schedule. He responded to our messages quickly too, which we really appreciated.”

“Grisel always treats my girl like real family. Always considerate and understanding, and has helped take the very best care of her. She always gets excited when we pull up because she knows she will be loved and have a good time. Highly recommend.”

“I highly recommend Joel! My old girl was calm and happy after her day stay. Extremely considerate of Lola’s needs. She’s a picky pup and can be stressed by strangers, but not with Joel. Didn’t have to worry about her safety or well-being. A great help and huge relief.”
About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.

“Leo loved his day care experience with Hana! She was so kind and send so many pictures of Leo throughout the day. We will deff be booking with her again. She’s amazing l!!”

“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

“Anna looked after Simba while I attended a concert, she kept me updated with lots of pictures about what Simba was up to - I didnt have to worry about him! She made sure that Simba had a fun time with lots of love and treats! If you're looking for someone that'll make your pooch feel at home and have some fun while you're away - Anna's the one to choose!!”

“Wendy was great with my dog and really helped to ease his anxiety with a recent move. He was excited to get to her house each day. Would highly recommend! Thank you, Wendy!”

“My dog seems to enjoy the experience with this dog sitter! Great communication with pictures of him enjoying plenty of toys and a nice walk. Highly recommend for a fun and caring dog daycare service.”

“I couldn't ask for more from a dog sitter. Marcie followed my instructions, provided a comfortable environment with positive stimulation, kept me updated with messages/pics and was just an overall pleasant person. Wonderful job!”

“We needed a dog sitter for just a few hours and used Matt. He was great and his wife. They took care of Ranger at their home. Great communication and flexibility. Highly recommend.”

About: I am returning to Rover after a long hiatus while pursuing my PhD. Before my beloved Stella (black pitty) passed away, we had a wonderful time dog-sitting for clients. After many years of grief and a very, very busy life in my doctoral program, I have another doggy companion, Bruce. We enjoy working from home together and are excited to care for your pets! Training my boxer, Bruce, has been such a rewarding experience, and we hope to have the chance to help others on their journeys to build strong connections between handlers and their beloved companions. Working from home allows me to adapt to different needs and routines to stick as closely as possible with your pets current routine to give them a sense of familiarity. My boxer, Bruce, knows when it is time for his meals, bedtime, or when I need to step out to run errands for the day. I intend to do the same by adapting to your pet's routine so they feel at ease.
“Athena was happy to stay with Janessa. We got cute photo and updates during the day which was really helpful for us because Athena is not used to stay away from us. We had to prolong her stay for a couple of hours and Janessa was super understanding and helpful.”

“Juliana has been amazing with my dog as he adjusts to a cross country move! Murph was immediately comfortable with her, and she adjusted to his needs easily. Also super friendly and easy to book with! She also refilled my poop bags when I totally forgot this morning 🙈 10/10 will book again and highly recommend”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs for many years, but my real training started with my own dog Haku. He has taught me patience, routine, and how to understand different dog personalities. I am used to daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable. Haku is friendly with children, other dogs, and cats, so I understand the importance of proper introductions and calm environments. Every dog has their own personality, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I work from home, so I get to spend most of my day around dogs. I’m available for boarding on weekends and flexible during weekdays. Your pup will have company, regular walks, and a steady routine instead of being left alone all day. Dogs can sense calm energy, and I bring that into my home. I keep things structured but relaxed. I respect each dog’s personality and never force interactions. Haku runs quality control and makes sure every guest feels welcome.

About: Hi there! I’m Mel. I’ve had dogs in my life for over 30 years — growing up with Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Border Collies, and Labs, and later caring for high-energy breeds like Huskies, Malamutes, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans as an adult. I’m comfortable with big dogs, strong pullers, and dogs who need real exercise, but I’m just as happy with a Chihuahua curled up on the couch. I spent 8 years as a nanny, so looking after something that depends on you completely isn’t new to me — it’s second nature. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and walks. I don’t board dogs in my own home, since I have a resident cat (a very opinionated tabby mix), but I’m experienced with cats too, including Maine Coons and other long-haired breeds, if you need a sitter for feline friends as well. I’ve handled the less glamorous parts of the job without blinking: medication schedules, backyard cleanup, even a dog who met a skunk face-first. My standard for every visit is simple — when you get home, your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and ready to sleep well. I treat your home and your animal the way I’d want mine treated. I’m self-employed, so my schedule is flexible and mostly built around dog care. I’m generally available 8am–6pm on weekdays, with some days running later. In the summer heat, I keep an eye on pavement temperature and adjust walk times so it’s safe on paws — sometimes that means earlier or later in the day rather than midday. Weekends are available with advance scheduling. I’m also happy to do drop-in visits spaced out over the day or across longer periods if that suits your dog’s routine better than a single visit. Since I don’t board dogs in my own home — I have a resident cat — all my care happens in your space, on your dog’s normal turf, which tends to be less stressful for them than an unfamiliar house. I follow whatever routine you set: meals, meds, walks, exercise. I’m comfortable administering medication, cleaning up after accidents or messes, and handling anything that comes up — I’ve dealt with a dog getting skunked, dogs with high energy who need real exercise, and the everyday logistics of keeping a home running while you’re away. My rule for every visit: your house should look better than when you left it, and your dog should be fed, exercised, and settled by the time you get home.

“I cannot say enough about how great Natalie is with Chet and in general. She is really knowledgeable about dogs and their energies and idiosyncrasies. I am forever grateful for finding her on Rover!”

I respond quickly to texts and go for walks daily I live in a pet friend friendly building in a nice walkable neighborhood so your fur baby is more than welcome to stay and hang out!

I love my pets company, giving them things too do like running round and playing chase. Cleaning, Feeding and making sure they're happy and if they need their medicine. Usually taking care or them for most of the day.

About: What sets me apart is my experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I fostered puppies and adult dogs for four years, which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I also grew up with working dogs, so I am very comfortable handling high-energy breeds and understand the exercise, structure, and attention they require. Whether it's a playful puppy, an active working dog, or a senior pet needing extra patience and care, I adapt to each animal's individual needs. I am confident handling dogs on walks and prioritize safety, consistency, and positive interactions. I am comfortable working with reactive dogs as well :) I am a full time student looking to fill my summer by taking care pets instead of adopting more! I have extremely open availability, whatever your pet needs Ill be there. I wholeheartedly understand the anxiety and stress that can come with leaving your pet in someone else's care, I have those same feelings when it comes to my own pets. Because of that, I will treat your pet as if they were my own, providing them with the same love, attention, and care that I would expect for my animals. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness, along with your peace of mind, are always my top priorities. While I am caring for your pet, I will be readily available by text or phone and happy to provide updates, photos, and videos to help you feel connected and reassured while you're away. 🐾
“Andrea has been walking my dog Jack for a a couple of weeks now and he has been so happy with her! He is skiddish and shy, but has taken very well to Andrea, which I think speaks well of her! They walk during lunch and he is so much more calmer in the afternoons and when I get home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Needed a last minute sitter for a week while we were away, and couldn’t be happier with Amanda! We have a really anxious dog but he settled in fairly quickly and had a playmate with Amanda’s daughter. In fact when picking Simon up, her daughter was carrying Simon … it was so sweet. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Amanda.”

“Becky did an amazing job watching our Husky, Cleo. She constantly kept us updated on how Cleo was doing and sent a ton of pictures throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend her for dog sitting!”

“Thank you Demi! She was so flexible when our recent travel plans got complicated. We are so grateful! Demi kept me updated on Khrush’s stay. I’m so grateful to have found a Rover that is so communicative and attentive to our sweet boy. ❤️”
“Would highly recommend Davis and his wife for pet sitting again. My Thor loved them and even my cat Venom who tends to hate men loved them as well! 😅 Already have another booking made to use Davis’ services again and will continue using them moving forward. I really enjoyed the daily updates while I was away. Also was very impressed by the living environment/cleanliness so I knew my babies would be properly taken care of. Thanks again and will see you both soon!”

“10/10 would recommend. Alexxa was very accommodating and a sweet sitter. I am very weary of this app, but my pup was in excellent hands. Absolutely would hire again.”

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Leaving Atlas for a full week was a huge step for me. He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. I would absolutely trust her with Atlas again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and compassionate dog sitter.”
