About: I’ve taken care of pets throughout my life. Pets of my own, my neighbors, friends and even co-workers. I’ve had three dogs and 7 cats over time. I currently live with my baby girl Peach 🐈 I’m working 8-5, I can stop by for drop-in visits or dog walks after my full-time job. Some days I can stop in during those hours. We can discuss over text. It’s your home, so I will follow your rules. I will follow through with your directions and also make sure your home is secure after my visits.

About: I love animals of all types! My first pet sitting experience was at the age of 10 with a very sweet German Shephard, Storm. Over the years I've connected with many a canine, feline, and on occasion, equine family members. It's an honor to be trusted by you, and more importantly your four legged companion to care for them while you're away. I'm comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and levels of energy. You'll see many pictures of me and my late pup Jude. I had the pleasure of being his parent all 15years he roamed this earth. From potty training, behavior training, grooming and senior care. I've done it all. I work part time in Davis and am home around supper time. On workdays I am able to walk/spend time with your furry companion in the mornings and evenings. I'm available on my days off & the weekends for extended visits or walks. In the evening I'm able to do the same. I live in a small apartment that does not allow cats or dogs. If I am boarding your animals overnight, it will need to be in your home. Whatever accommodations your home has for your pet, I'll happily utilize them to ensure their comfort.

About: I’ve spent most of my life caring for dogs and have personally trained five dogs with different personalities, needs, and learning styles. Over the years, dogs have been much more than pets to me, they have been members of my family. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for how differently every dog communicates, learns, plays, relaxes, and builds trust. I’m especially passionate about canine behavior and body language. I pay close attention to the small signals dogs use to communicate how they’re feeling, whether they are excited, nervous, overstimulated, curious, playful, or simply in need of some quiet time. I believe good pet care starts with understanding the individual dog rather than expecting every dog to respond the same way. While I am not a certified dog trainer, I have substantial hands on experience with training, positive reinforcement, routines, boundaries, mental stimulation, and everyday dog care. I believe dogs thrive when they are given a healthy balance of affection, structure, exercise, enrichment, freedom, and clear expectations. My current dog, Charlie Girl, is a 2 year old Boxer/Hound mix with an incredibly happy and social personality. She has responded exceptionally well to training and has reinforced how much I enjoy working with dogs, learning from them, and helping them feel confident and secure. Caring for her every day includes walks, training, play, mental enrichment, affection, and plenty of time to relax and be part of the family. I also understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. My goal is to make that decision easier by treating every dog with patience, attentiveness, and respect for the routines and boundaries their family has established. I enjoy providing regular photos, videos, and updates because I believe clear communication helps owners feel connected and confident while they are away. Ultimately, I want every dog in my care to feel safe, understood, engaged, and genuinely welcomed. Seeing a dog relaxed, happy, and comfortable is something I find incredibly rewarding, and I want to provide that same peace of mind to every family I work with. Caring for dogs is already a central part of my daily life, and I am committed to making pet care a dedicated part of my work. My 2 year old Boxer/Hound mix, Charlie Girl, has a daily routine that includes walks, training, mental stimulation, play, affection, and plenty of time to relax and cuddle. I bring that same level of attention and involvement to the dogs entrusted to my care. Because I am intentionally dedicating my time to pet care, dogs staying with me are part of my day not something I simply fit in around a busy schedule. I enjoy being actively involved with them throughout the day through play, enrichment, positive reinforcement, companionship, outdoor time, and exercise. I believe daily walks are important for both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and when appropriate for the individual dog's age, health, routine, the weather, and their family's preferences, I aim to provide up to an hour of walking and outdoor exercise each day. I also know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else. Communication is a major part of the service I provide, so I enjoy sending regular photos, videos, and updates throughout their stay. I would rather communicate too much than leave a family wondering how their dog is doing. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable second home where dogs can relax and enjoy themselves while their family is away not an environment that feels like being placed in a kennel. I have a comfortable home with a fully fenced yard where dogs have room to play, explore, enjoy supervised outdoor time, or simply relax. I take a calm, patient, and structured approach to caring for dogs. I believe dogs thrive with a healthy balance of affection, freedom, exercise, positive reinforcement, and clear rules and boundaries. Structure should help a dog feel secure and understand what is expected of them without taking away their opportunity to be a dog. Understanding canine behavior and body language is especially important to me. I pay attention to the smaller signals dogs use to communicate whether they are excited, uncertain, overstimulated, uncomfortable, ready to play, or simply in need of some quiet time. Every dog has its own personality, history, routine, and comfort level, and I believe good care starts with respecting those differences. Charlie Girl is a happy, social dog who genuinely enjoys connecting and playing with other dogs. Even so, I never assume that two dogs will immediately be comfortable together. Introductions and interactions are handled thoughtfully and supervised, with each dog's behavior and comfort level determining how quickly they progress. I also make it a priority to follow the routines and expectations established by each dog's family, including feeding schedules, sleeping arrangements, walking routines, training cues, boundaries, and other care instructions. Consistency can make being away from home much easier for a dog. Most importantly, I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's dog seriously. These animals are members of their families, just as the dogs throughout my life have been members of mine. I want owners to leave knowing their dog is being watched closely, treated with patience and respect, given meaningful attention and enrichment, and welcomed into a home where their safety and well being come first. Regular photos, videos, and checkins are part of that commitment so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing.

I have volunteered at a dog rescue, and I have experience walking and sitting all sorts of dogs— small, large, young and excited, old and a bit slower, trained, untrained. I've raised dogs and cats and have done the whole shabang- training, potty-training, cleaning up messes, etc. I understand things happen and am patient with them. I'm happy to play with your pets, take dogs on walks, and give them extra love while you are away! I am a clear, honest communicator. I want you to be aware if anything happens you need to know about to ensure the safety of your pet. I have been on your end of Rover, and I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone you don’t know very well. So I will send consistent updates and pictures, and be available for any questions from you. I can’t wait to meet your furbaby! I will treat them as my own 🩵 I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I have a few meetings spread through the day, but most of the time, I can make drop ins/walks work with whatever schedule is needed. And if I am dog sitting, I will be home all day since I work from home. At my home, I have a fenced in yard. I will supervise any outside time. I will make sure the leash and collar are secured before going on a walk. I don’t put my face in their face, and allow them to take the lead on contact and interaction. I know I’m a stranger to them at the beginning, and know trust needs to be built!

I will make sure your pup(s) get plenty of exercise with a walk around your local neighborhood. Each pet is unique and I will be certain to cater to your individual pet’s needs.
