I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! I have two pups of my own and have cared for dogs for friends, family, and Rover clients for years. I have experience with puppies, seniors, energetic dogs, and everything in between. What sets me apart is that I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of dogs and meeting them where they’re at. I understand that not every dog is going to be an easygoing, perfectly trained pup and that’s okay! I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, energetic dogs, strong pullers, reactive dogs, medication needs, crate training, and finicky eaters. I’m patient and willing to take the extra time needed to build trust, especially with shy or nervous dogs. I also work from home, so when my schedule allows, your pup gets plenty of companionship rather than being left alone for most of the day. I provide regular updates and photos because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy and being well cared for. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality. My goal isn’t just to “watch your dog”, it’s to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. 🐾❤️

Alex was amazing. Our dog is a rescue and she has been so scared around other humans and dogs. We've had a hard time getting her into pet hotels because she is too scared to even enter. Alex came over a few times and spent hours with her to get to know her. She has so much patience. Then we dropped our dog off for our out of state trip. Alex did so amazing taking care of her. She sent pictures and videos regularly. We were so relieved. Alex also helped socialize her to the point where our baby was best friends with both Alex and her dogs by the end. I can't recommend her enough.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alexandra was absolutely wonderful with our two doggies, Olivia and Ollivander! Olivia is still a puppy and definitely requires some extra attention, patience, and care, and Alexandra handled her beautifully. She was equally attentive and loving with Ollivander, making sure both of them felt comfortable, happy, and cared for while we were away. She followed all of their routines and instructions carefully, kept us updated, and gave us so much peace of mind knowing our babies were in such good hands. We came home to two happy, relaxed doggies, which says everything! We are so grateful to have found Alexandra and would absolutely trust her with Olivia and Ollivander again. She will definitely be our first choice whenever we need someone to care for them. Highly, highly recommend her! 🐾❤️
Alexandra was absolutely amazing with my little fur baby. I had to book a daycare sitter last minute, and she accommodated to my situation so well. She sent many pictures throughout the day and kept me well updated on how Bambi was doing. She took her on a long walk and Bambi was pleased and exhausted when we came back home. We will definitely be booking with Alexandra again!
We are so glad we chose Alexandra to watch our puppy. She was awesome with our 6 month old puppy Rooney. She walked him and sent us pictures of his day. Her dogs got along great with ours and at the end of the day our pup was tired out. Which was perfect for us since we were at a meeting all day. Very trustworthy and kind. If we need care in the future we would definitely choose Alex for the job.
Alex was wonderful! She was great with communication and our pups were excited to be getting the extra exercise. We would definitely use her again in the future.

🐾 Currently accepting bookings! I currently have open availability to care for your pups’ needs! Walks, belly rubs, playtime, and photo updates are always included. I treat every pet in my care like family and want you to feel confident that they’re happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. My Schedule & Availability I’m a full-time student and full-time remote employee, which means I’m fortunate to spend a lot of time at home with the pets I care for. My weekly schedule: - Tuesday & Thursday: At UC Davis (10am-2pm) - Wednesday: Half-day work from home, home by 2pm - Monday & Friday: Full-time work-from-home - Weekends: Work-from-home My remote schedule allows me to provide plenty of companionship, attention, potty breaks, walks, and check-ins while still maintaining my work and school responsibilities. 🏡 Weekend House Sitting: Because I work remotely on weekends, I do require reliable Wi-Fi access in your home for weekend house-sitting bookings. This allows me to continue working while remaining at home with your pets and providing attentive care throughout the day. 📅 Please message me directly before booking so we can confirm that the requested dates and times work for both of us. I also have clients who book with me outside of Rover, so while I do my best to keep my Rover calendar updated, it may not always reflect my most current availability. I’m always happy to chat about your pets, their routines, and what they need to feel comfortable and loved while you’re away! 🐶🐱❤️

I tailor my care to each pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. I have two friendly dogs of my own who can provide companionship when appropriate, but I’m also happy to keep pets separate if that’s what makes them most comfortable. I’m comfortable caring for finicky eaters, dogs who need extra support on leash, and pets with medication requirements. I’m also happy to follow your preferred feeding, walking, and care routines as closely as possible. I have crates available if your pet is crate trained, prefers a crate for downtime, or is currently working on crate training. My goal is always to create a safe, comfortable environment where your pets can stick to their normal routine and feel at home while you’re away.

Whether your pup loves a long walk, a game of hide-and-seek, or simply curling up for belly rubs, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and enrichment while you’re away. My goal is for your pets to have a fun, comfortable experience that feels as close to their normal routine as possible!

- Every pet is different, and I understand that some pups need a little extra time and patience before they feel comfortable with someone new. Please let me know about any challenges, special requests, quirks, or routines your pet has. I’m happy to work with you to make sure they receive the care they need. I never charge for meet & greets because I believe it’s important for both you and your pet to feel comfortable before a booking. For convenience, my boarding rate is the same as my in-home sitting rate. I’m happy to discuss which option would be the best fit for your pet and their routine.
