“Andrea has been walking my dog Jack for a a couple of weeks now and he has been so happy with her! He is skiddish and shy, but has taken very well to Andrea, which I think speaks well of her! They walk during lunch and he is so much more calmer in the afternoons and when I get home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Animals have been part of my life from the very beginning. My family raised and cared for pets of all kinds, including Maine Coon show cats, a golden retriever, and a yorkie. I grew up surrounded by them, learning early how to read behavior, provide steady care, and build trust with different personalities and species. The only time I ever lived without an animal in my home was during my first two years of service in the Air Force. Since then, I have continued to share my life with dogs, cats, and the occasional more unusual companion such as a bird, a ferret, and a snake. Every one of them has been loved and treated as family. These days I share my home with Daxter (my orange tabby) and Catarina and Beretina (two crazy torbie sisters) who keep life entertaining in all the best ways. I am a veteran currently in school and I work part time as a martial arts instructor. Outside of that, I enjoy drawing, playing guitar, and video games. Among my friends I have become the go to pet auntie because I care for their animals as if they were my own. My goal is to bring that same level of attentiveness and genuine care to every pet I look after. Whether they are shy, energetic, quirky, or easygoing, I meet each animal with patience, respect, and a calm presence so they feel safe while you are away. I currently work part time as a martial arts instructor during the day, but my schedule is extremely flexible to accommodate both you and your pets’ needs I care for every pet with a focus on respect, clear communication, and their individual comfort levels. Whether a cat or dog is shy, social, or a little spicy, I follow their cues and let them set the pace. With many years of experience, including caring for my own three cats (Daxter, Catarina, and Beretina), I’m very attentive to both physical and emotional needs and quick to notice changes in behavior or stress. Your peace of mind matters just as much as your pet’s. If you’re away, I provide consistent updates and photos as often as you’d like so you always know how they’re doing. I welcome specific instructions or preferences because every pet has their own routine and every owner has their own comfort level. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe and content, and you feel confident that they’re in good hands.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and feel very comfortable around them and very in-tune to their needs. I also worked for Midtown Mutts for a year prior to Covid and going back to school (many of the dogs I walked then are shown in my gallery). Not only do I view pets as family members and a whole lot of fun, I also view them as lifelong friends and would take special care that they are always safe, comfortable, happy, and loved! I am familiar with many different breeds and know what different needs this entitles for each. I am available for specific needs as requested by the owner, such as extra walks or special diets and will respect these. I love to take dogs on runs, to the dog park, or on long hikes if the owner permits. I hope you will consider me for your next dogsitting need! I am currently working from home and self-employed, so I am very flexible with my hours, available nights or weekends if needed, and can work around tricky schedules. I have a daily routine with my own dog and cat, so am very aware of pet routines and their importance. I care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and energy level, whether that means active play and walks or a quieter, more relaxed approach. In a client’s home, I focus on maintaining consistency—feeding on schedule, refreshing water, administering care as instructed, cleaning litter boxes or pet areas, and providing companionship and enrichment. I respect the home and any specific instructions provided, and I make sure pets get attention, reassurance, and positive interaction while their owners are away. I am attentive to pet behavior and wellbeing, communicate clearly with owners, and will provide updates as requested so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My goal is for pets to feel secure and cared for, and for owners to feel peace of mind.

About: I genuinely love animals, and that comes through in my work. Going above and beyond what is expected is my normal because in addition to being responsible, I also just love pets and animals and being around them. I have worked at the UC Davis Vet hospital, volunteered at the LA Zoo, and currently foster cats with Front St Animal Shelter. I’m currently a full time student in my last year of my Genetics and Genomics BS. I have always at least worked part time during my entire college career, and I really enjoy getting to work with animals to decompress from school. I am very attentive to directions, and I’m great at communicating with pet parents on their needs. While I don’t board at my own home, I always make sure to treat your home with the respect as I would my own.

I am a recent college graduate studying for the LSAT and completing a paralegal certificate class online, so pet care is a great option for me because I can hang out with your pets while I study or do classwork. In your home, I follow your pet’s established routines and instructions closely to ensure comfort and consistency. I keep open communication with owners, sharing updates so you always feel confident your pet is happy and cared for.

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I've owned four dogs, both large and small breeds, and have a deep understanding of their unique needs. One of my dogs had a seizure disorder, so I’m very comfortable administering medications multiple times a day and responding calmly and confidently to medical emergencies like grand mal seizures. I also groom my own long-haired small dog and have experience with breeds that require regular grooming and extra TLC. I volunteered at the ASPCA, where I completed their dog socialization training. This taught me a lot about canine behavior, safety, and how to build trust with dogs of all backgrounds. I walked and socialized dogs at the center, and it was one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Over the years, I’ve provided house and pet sitting for family and friends, always making sure to adapt to each pet’s routine and personality. I genuinely enjoy getting to know every dog I meet and aim to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved in my care. Outside of pet care, I work as an environmental scientist and am passionate about protecting wildlife and our natural world. I work a typical Monday–Friday, 8–5 schedule, but have some flexibility and often work from home. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s specific needs and would love the chance to care for your furry family member! I work in environmental science and typically 8am -5pm Monday through Friday. I have a hybrid schedule that allows me flexibility to work from home or wherever and I have every other Friday off. I am typically free on weekends unless I have a scheduled vacation, which will be on my schedule. I care for pets in their own home to help maintain their routine and sense of comfort. I follow feeding, walking, and medication schedules closely, and always prioritize each dog’s unique needs and personality. With experience handling medical conditions and understanding dog behavior, I create a calm, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. I treat every dog like family and aim to make them feel secure and cared for in your absence.

“Super friendly, professional, and a natural with dogs! Kirstin was very attentive to my Husky’s needs and tired her out indoors on days that were too hot for an afternoon walk! My pup loves her and will be booking again as soon as I’m back in the office!”

Dos Rios Triangle dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lila was wonderful. At the meet and greet, it was evident my dog Gracie really loved her. Lila followed the plan that I left for her taking Gracie for her favorite walks in the neighborhood. Lila sent me pictures of Gracie everyday that I was gone as well as the Rover report card which was really reassuring. I was able to enjoy my time away knowing that Gracie was in such good hands. I would definitely book her for Gracie again if I needed to be away in the future.
Paula is wonderful with my dogs. She has that calm, grounded energy that my reactive pitbull loves and trusts. She checks in regularly with photos, and my dogs are always happy and relaxed when they come back from walks with her. I highly recommend her, she’s reliable, punctual, calm, and truly a dog person.
